How to print out a contact from the address book?

I must be missing something very basic. I select a contact in my address book. Now, I want to print it... you know things like the contact's name, address, phone number, etc. When I try printing, I get a blank page. In the print dialog box, it continues to say "No Addresses ()" below the page preview, this even when I've selected one or multiple contacts in my address book. Please help! Thanks!!

In the Print dialogue box select Lists in the Style drop down box.

there is not a way to print out the Backup file.
You should sync your contact to outlook or outlook express and print it out from there.
Additionally, printing out and manually re-entering all the contacts when you already have the electronic data would be a waste of time. Just sync your data to outlook then you can export your data back to the new device, according to whatever device you are getting.

When I want main report call subtemplate and finish xliff tranlation

Prints out fine with Finnish translation
But if I want in main program to check what language is used e.g.

call English translation.

How do I delete contacts from the address book?

Purchased a new MacBook Pro and iphone4 yesterday. The phone has several hundred contacts that I no longer need. How do I deleted the contacts that I don't need anylonger from the address book on my MacBook? There are still several hundred that I need to keep. I don't see an easy way to delete them on the computor. I can't imagine that I'd have to go through one by one on my iphone.........seriously?

On the MBpro, click on the card to delete or mark several in a row by holding Shift down/up arrow. Then hit the delete key on the keyboard.

Printing contacts from the address book

Is there an easy way to print out a master copy of my address book? I don't want to print card by card, I would like to print in list form, alphabetically.

A related question:
I would like to print out a master copy of my address book, as a collection of business cards, say 8 per page (or something like that). A simple list is too hard to read (as I have important info on the "note" field, that can be a little lengthy). A card per page is not practical, as I have too many entries. I used to use Palm Desktop on PC, and it does the job amiably. I wonder if it is possible on Mac.

If you have Numbers (which is part of the iWork suite, which you can get on the App Store) you can drag a group of address cards directly from Contacts to a Numbers sheet.
The only caveat to this is you must enable this in the System Preferences > Security & Privacy, then select the "Privacy" segment and then select "Contacts" on the left. Then check the box corresponding to Numbers in the Applications list.

Back it up in iTunes! Just make a backup of the entire device but make sure you check sync contacts and the option to add contacts from phone to address book on computer.

There is an Address Book in the same location on the "MacIntosh HD" of the new machine, but some of the files in that (new) folder have different names. Risky to simply over-ride this. Any card in your address book can be duplicated. Select the card within the Name column, and use the Edit > Copy menu item followed by the Edit > Paste menu item. Then you can update the card copy and only change the name/email/phone fields as needed.

I think you will find that you have to have a debit/credit card stored on yur account regardless of whether your have iTunes Credit or want to purchase a free App. I don't know why, I assume its for ID verification or is part of the terms and conditions. I occasionally have to re-verify my credit card info even when just trying to run Update on one of my Apps or like I said downloading a free App.
