How to print pages from multiple pdfs

Friends,
I have two pdfs.
I need to print not all, but certain pages from both pdfs. How to achieve this.
Regards,
John.

Options:
1) create a new form, copy all the pages from your source pdfs into this one, use scripting to control the page appearance
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/lc_designer_scripting_basics/lc_designer_scripting_basics.pdf
2) use the workaround to concatenate multiple forms and try to use the same approach to remove pages you don´t like
There are no other options.

  • Creating a pdf from selection of pages from multiple pdfs

I have a secured collection of pdfs. I would like to create a new pdf from selected pages of this collection.  I think the way I'm doing it now is contorted.  I screen capture a page, create a new pdf from the clipboard and insert the new pdf to the summary pdf.  Is there a better way?  I think I'm hampered by the fact that the pdf collection is secured, so my options are limited.  I would like to select a page from a pdf and cut and paste the page into a new pdf directly without all these steps.  Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention, using Acrobat Professional 8.

  • Removing Pages from Multiple PDFs

I have around 1500 PDF files that are vaious pages in length. I need need to know if there is a way to remove all pages from all the PDFs with the exception of Page 1 and keep the file the same file name. In the end I would have 1500 PDF files with only page 1 in them. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks,
    -Mike

It may be possible without JavaScript. I would be sure to work on copies of the files. Use the batch process to open each file and then go down 1 page and delete all pages to the end. I am not sure if this can be automated with the batch process without JavaScript, but it may be worth a try.

  • How to replace pages in multiple PDF kits at once

    Here is what I have:
Multiple documents I have merged into a single PDF. I'll call these a kit. I have about 200 kits. Each kit holds some documents that are unique to it and other documents which are universal to every kit.
    Here is what I do:
When a document that is universal to each kit is updated or changed in any way I have been going into each and every kit, deleting the page(s) that document was associated with and inserting the updated document.
Here is what I want to do:
Have a script or a program or anything that will simplify this process. Is there any way to tell the batch of PDF kits to delete a section and replace it with a new document all at once?
    Any feedback is appreciated!

It's probably possible, depending very much on the way you set up you "kits" and if it's possible to identify the pages you want to replace based on page number, content, or something similar.
Also, you will need to have a version of Acrobat that has batch proccessing capabilities (typically the Pro versions).
I can probably create such a script for you. Contact me by email or PM for more info.

  • How do I print 2 pages from a pdf file and enlarge it

how do i print 2 pages from a file and enlarge it  to email

    Hi stevebulldog,
Do I understand correctly that you'd like to extract two pages from a PDF, and then send them via email?
To extract pages from a PDF, you need to use Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can try it for free for 30 days. Please see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
I'm not sure what you mean by "enlarge" it. When your recipient views the PDF, they can enlarge the view (zoom in on the PDF) by choosing options from the View menu in Acrobat or Reader.

  • How to make multiple pages from a PDF?

I'm only able to bring out 1 page from a PDF file. How can I make it so that I can create multiple pages into a single PDF file?

Graffiti, thanks for your quick response! When you say "open the pages view" that's the drop-down View menu, right? Then I select Page Display but don't know which one to chose after that. Single, two-up etc.
And Control>click on a page selects an image on that page--not the entire page, which is what I want.
That said, I'm way happy you pointed out Document>Extract Pages. That works great for me, one page at a time. Maybe I don't need the other things clarified because I can use this one, but I'd like to get working all the tips you provided.
    Gratefully,
    Peggy

Google show that you have to cut what you want to print and then paste it into a new app and print from that app.

Tools - Pages - Extract and tick the option to delete the extracted page from the original file.

If you open both documents, you can drag a page from the Pages panel (on the left of the window) of one document and drop it into the Pages panel of another.
You can also extract one or more pages from a document to create a new document, and then insert the pages from this new document into another. In Acrobat 11 you 'd do this by doing:
    Tools > Pages > Extract
    and then:
Tools > Pages > Insert from File

How can I delete pages from a pdf file

    Hi timk,
None of the Acrobat.com online services allow you to edit a PDF file. But, in checking your account, I see that you purchased an Acrobat Standard subscription, and you can certainly use that to edit a PDF file.
Have you downloaded and installed Acrobat Standard? It sounds to me as though you may be opening the PDF file in Adobe Reader, rather than Acrobat. (Reader doesn't allow you to edit PDF files.)
If you haven't already, download and install Acrobat from https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat. Then, make sure that you're opening your PDF files in that rather than Reader, when you want to edit them.
Please let us know how it goes!

  • How do you extract non consecutive pages from a pdf document. I can highlight in thumbnails but only extract consecutive.

How do you extract non consecutive pages from a pdf document?
I see its easy to do it with consecutive pages by highlighting thumbnails then 'extract' but this does not allow for non consecutive pages.
    Thank you

After highlighting the pages you can drag them and drop them somewhere,
like on the desktop, and a new file will be created with just those pages.
If highlighting the pages is not feasible, or too tricky to do, then a
script can be used where you specify which pages to extract and the script
extract them to a new file.

  • How can I extract pages from a PDF? The Tools menu is missing.

I used to be able to extract pages from my PDF file. I don't see the tools icon anymore. How can I access the tools icon?

    Hi lenm,
To extract pages, you need to use Acrobat (not Adobe Reader). As I can attest (because I do have both Reader and Acrobat installed on the same computer), it is quite easy to open files in Reader when you mean to open then in Acrobat. So, please make sure you have the right app open. (I pull this one all the time!)
Now, if the Tools menu is missing from Acrobat, choose View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Show Toolbars to make them reappear.
Please let us know how it goes.

  • How do you delete pages from a PDF?

I have an 8 page Adobe PDF file that I need 4 pages deleted from. How can perform this task?
    Thanks!

    Hi, rommerei.
Deleting pages from a PDF requires Adobe Acrobat. You can download a trial here.
If this is a feature you'd like to see added to our online service, feel free to submit an Idea.
