How to print second page as continuation of First Page.

Hello,
I am printing a script. I want to print next page as continuation of first page.
I am printing some contents. It is overflowing the first page, But remaining contents are not appearing at
Next page.
How to print that.
Can any body plz help.

Hi,
If the text doesn't fit in page, the it will be printed in the next page.
If it is one line or two line by increasing the length of the window, you can accomodate. But if it more than than then its not possible to print in the same page.
If you dont want to get the text truncated then just use PROTECT and ENDPROTECT command in order to protect the text.
Then the whole text will be printed either in First Page or Second page depending on the amout of text.
Thanks & Regards,
Vamsi.

  • How to print a table only on the first page BI Publisher report

    Hi,
I have a requirement to only print part of what is in the header on the first page only. It is a table. How can I do this in BI Publisher?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
better to ask a question about BI Publisher in BI Publisher Forum than here in Reports Forum.
You can create a template in your rtf wich you reference in your header. With BI Desktop in Winword you can use a different header for first page than the others.

in page's output option you can set D for double-sided.

S     Begin new page in SIMPLEX mode (single-sided)

  • How do you number pages but start the numbering on the second page, while omitting the page number from the first page (my title page)

I have recently changed from Word to Pages 5.5. I want to create a document with a title page (no number) and the second page as Page 1. It is quite simple to do in Word, but I cannot find a way to do it in Pages.

    Hi Ryanlipp;
    Insert a section break
Place cursor in the newly created section (page)
         In the Document panel:
    select Insert page number: 1.
Under Numbering, select start at: 1
It starts numbering from number 1 in the new page (2nd page).
Now place the cursor in the previous page (Ist page).
Select Hide on first page section.
This hides page number in the first page of the document.
I hope, this is what you are after.

  • How can I remove the page number from the first page of the document that is the cover page?

How can I remove the page number from the first page of the document that is the cover page?

If you open the Pages panel, (Window>Pages) you will see thumbnails of your master pages and your document pages. In new documents, there is usually a master called A-Master and one called None. If you drag the thumbnail of the None master onto the thumbnail of a document page, it will apply that master to that page. Presumably, you have made your page numbers on A-Master, so this will usually do the trick. If you have elements on A-Master that you need on the first page, but just not the page number, you can duplicate A-Master (which, by default will give you B-Master, but you can change the names if you like) and remove the page number on the duplicate and apply that to the document page.
It might also be worth noting that you can apply master pages in the fly-out of the Pages panel. Go to the fly-out triangle and go down to Apply Master to Pages…, then select a master to apply and the range of pages (1-8 will give you all 8, 1, 3, 5, 7 will be the odds, 1-3, 4, 6-8 if you want continuous ranges and individual pages).

  • How to bring all columns in a single/first page in report painter

    Hi Experts,
There are 9 columns in a report painter which includes 1 lead column.

Please suggest how to bring all columns in a single/first page in the new report.
Please revert if I'm confused anywhere.

    Hi Rajneesh,
Thanx for the quick reply. When I change the column width to 10 it comes in one page. But the requirement is to keep the column width to at least 12 or 14 and moreever the original report from where this report is copied having the same no of columns and the column width for original report is 14 and it comes in one page only.
Do I need to do something more to achieve this. My question is how the original reports data comes in one page where as the current report having issue with same number of columns.

  • How do i customize the "tile" on the first page of Wiki Server 4 on OS X Server?

How do i customize the "tile" on the first page of Wiki Server 4 on OS X Server?
The title says "OS X Server" and i want it to say something else... How can i do that?

Ok... i did some digging around... and struck gold.
The digging part is not for the "faint of heart" since the Terminal is your best friend and some coding knowledge is involved. Suffice to say my trip in Wiki Server 4 land led me through Ruby on Rails code. I was surprised to find that i'm able to read ruby code, and i don't know Ruby at all. After looking through Model Views and Controllers i figured out the solution was simpler than i anticipated.
To modify the title on the first page you need to edit a .strings file. You need to use the download version (not the mac app store app) of TextWrangler or some other editor that allows Authenticated Saves (save files as other users). Make sure the Wiki service is off... the slider in the server app is off.
The location of the file depends on your language locale that you use:
    /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/collabd/coreclient/locale s/en.lproj
where "en" can be either de, es, fr, it, ja, ko, nl, zh_CN, zh_TW depending on your wiki language.
First()you need to right click on the file and "Get Info" and adjust the permissions temporarily for "Everyone" to "Read and Write".
Open the file in TextWrangler and find the key general.os_x_server and under it you can modify the string "OS X Server" to anything you want "My own company Wiki".
    Save()the file.
Second()you need to right click on the file and "Get Info" and adjust the permissions temporarily for "Everyone" back to just "Read".
Move()the slider in the Server App to On again for the wiki.
    Enjoy!!!

  • How to Print the Report Column headers on each page of any report

Can someone offer assistance on how I can go about achieving the ability to show and print the Report Column headers on each page of any report using the Print Attributes of APEX 3.0? These reports will be printed using Excel and Word.
I read a thread with a similar request but the answer seems vague for my level of understanding.
I am connected to a print server and using BI Publisher.
    Thanks,
    Ric

    Hello Ric,
    >> These reports will be printed using Excel and Word.
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. You are using a very powerful tool – BI Publisher – why do you need Excel or Word for printing? Is there a special need only Excel or Word can provide?
One of the major advantages of using BI Publisher is that it's taking care of all these tedious tasks like reasonable page breaking, headers and footers, and also table headers.

    Arie.

  • Smartforms  how to print Table rows on to the next page automatically

if this question is answered pls point to the the link
    SMART forms:
layout :  Half of my A4 page is filled with templates, a small portion is footer, the middle portion is Table.
Note: i have set the condition for the footer as (tick the check box) "only after end of main window"
    Output:
the template is displayed the table is populated on the first page, no footer on 1st page,
on page 2 the table rows are printed (table rows were a lot) and finally footer got printed every thing as per normal
    what i want is:
instead of the table lines printed in the middle of page 2 (bcz my main window table is in the middle, top is templates)
i want the table lines (after filling the main window table lines in the 1st page) to continue to print from the
top of the page on page 2 and immediately after the table rows finish. footer must be printed....
what should i be doing to get this output

    dear bob,
yes i have done that already as u said, when i do it......
i created a new page (next page) directed first page to next page
on the next page my layout is like below
removed all the templates dragged the main window to the top of the page......
when i check the result, there is an empty line as the first line in the table (2nd page)
and also the footer (again a template) on the first page, which is ticked as ( print after end of main window) is NOT displaying.

  • Adobe form:How to Print last row of body to next page & printing max7 rows?

    Hi,
In ADOBE PDF, Design view, for item level data only 7 row or less should appear in first page for following page if rows are greater than 7 if its less than  7 then last row should be on second page. In design page Below Body Row, user details are 'positioned' so they overlap as soon as item level data exceeds 7.
Using a Static PDF, 7.2. I checked with Pagination property of Item level data, its been set to Place:Following previous and After Continue filling parent. Will putting condition using Form Calc would suffice in condition breaks? What would be condition?
    Thanks
    Mohinder

    Hi,
Solved by changing Condition in Table pane, making one row and increasing Header and footer.
    Thanks

  • How do I display text only in the first page inXML Publisher

    Hi everybody,
I've been reading so much, on the last two days, on this issue at this forum but I didn't get an answer. My problem is: In an invoices report some text and fields from the invoice header, (such as payment terms, bank details etc.), should be printed only in the first page of the invoice, (If the invoice has more than one page). These elements are not in the document header/footer but in the document body. That's why I think the different fist page of MS Word will not work. I tried also <? start@first-page:body ?>, with no success. Any idea, someone?
    Thanks,
    Shimon

    Hi,
Did you find solution to your problem? I am facing same issue and I want to know how you solved it? It would be great help.
    Thank you.
