How to print specific info on labels?

I need to use Numbers to create labels for ribbons at a dog event.  Info coming from a catalog with names, dogs names, event title and most of all running 'times' entered.  How can I get the 4 - lowest times as placements, first, second, third and fourth?  And print all labels that are qualifying scores only and also the 4 with placements?  Is this possible?
Thanks,
Mari

Hi mari,
I kept hoping someone who knew something about printing would come to help you out.
Numbers '09 is better at printing than 3.
You could set up a seperate sheet to draw those lowest times to a single table that you could then print. If you are still looking for a formula to fetch (see what I did) those lowest times post a screenshot of your table and I will help you.
I don't have any help for you as to printing labels.

  • How to print a page of labels in pages

Where and how to print a sheet of mutiple labes in pages.

I have managed to open Address Book... then select say the USA group or other... go to file, print, style: mailing labels, then Layout and chose A4 page and Avery ref.  On the left I see all the addresses as they will look on the label.  So far, so good.  However... how do I make the COUNTRY appear on the labels... I have typed it in at the end of each address, but it does not show on the label and then I have to write in individually... when you have a large number it is inefficient... surely there must be an answer to this?!  Can anybody help?!

how do you print level arch spine labels on HP Officejet Pro 8600?

SOTAP, sounds like you are having a dilemma printing these labels. First question, did these labels come with a program or CD that you use for printing? Most labels like those from Avery have a specialized program for formatting the labels for printing.
    Let me know!

I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial printer. You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/ .

  • How to print Photo Info in the Custom Print Package

I am  using LR CC, latest version on a Windows7 PC.
I am trying to print Photo Info in the Custom Print package. I have no trouble selecting Photo Info in the Single Image/Contact Sheet Layout Style, but when I switch to the Custom Print Package, the Photo Info check box in the Page panel, disappears. I can't find any reference to this in the manual as to why this would occur, or not be available.
Appreciate any help with this matter.

    Hi,
Have a look at: Lightroom Help | Print module layouts and templates
Only on the Single Image and Contact Sheet layouts can you " ... print information about photos, such as the filename, title, caption, and keywords ..."

  • How to print specific pages out of a book file

I've searched around but I cannot find any way of printing specific pages out of a book file. Has anyone got any ideas? I have a 100 page book file with 20 files, and doing print outs of sections is a nightmare. I want to be able to print page 5 out of file A and page 6 out of file B together so I can duplex them. I've tried scripting this but I can't seem to set the page range of the print preferences of the book file.

    [Jongware] wrote:
I don't think it's possible to set the page range of a Book.printPreferences
Theoretically it ought to be possible. Can't test for myself now; what does happen when you set the pageRange to overlapping sub-files?
I've just tried it with CS3. It might have been implemented in later versions.
In the print Book dialogue the page range field is disabled. You cannot enter anything there.
If you try to do it with a script it says that printPreferences is read only.

I have a macbook pro, it's a gift, and I want to return it. But at first time, I forgot to print the return label, now I know the order number and return number, when I click "Print return label", it appeared I need to sign in, but I don't have a apple ID

Call Apple sales and ask them. The number should be on your order receipt or look at the Contact Us link at the bottom right hand corner of this page.

Here is my problem. Within a web application, one of the menu is supposed to do the following:
Check the n lastest lines of a file (a log file in fact) and print the lines that only contain "ADD" or "DEL"
I don't know how to do it ! Please, help !!

This should get you started, it's a java version of tail which takes multiple files and there roll extension and runs forever (hopefully!).

  • How to print specific image size?

Hi Gang - how do I print a 11x15" image onto 13x19" photo paper?  At first it seems easy, but things aren't making sense. Here's what I did:
I exported the photo and used the LR image resize dialog area to 11x15" - easy.
I imported the exported image (assuming the image was 11x15") and then went to the LR print area - this is where the confusion begins.
The print tab shows the image dimensions as 8 x10.19 in.  Help, how do I make it the 11x15" I need it to be?
I understand that I'll need to adjust the image to get the portion I want into the 11x15 space, but for now, I can't even get the size to 11x15".
I tried custom package options, but no luck there.
I do have Canon's Print Studio Pro plug-in which works great. Except, once again, I don't know how to instruct it to print the image dimension 11x15" on the 13x19" paper.
Fiddling with settings, I printed a dozen attempts, and still no luck achieving 11x15" image size on the 13x19" paper.  For now, I'm OK with the image getting cut off or other skew - baby steps - I need to learn how to make the image print 11x15" image size.A
    Thanks for offering suggestions.
Screen shot shows my 11x15" image is 8x10.19; I don;t know how to make it 11x15".
    LR v5.7
    Mac OS X Yosemite v10.10.2
Brain: generally intuitive, but need help on this question!

The first step in the Lightroom Print module is to click the Page Setup button, select your printer, and then select the paper size. From your screen shot it looks like the correct paper size hasn't  been selected yet, because you said you wanted to print on 13 x 19 inch paper, but the paper on screen is only 8.5 inches wide. My guess is that Page Setup is still set for US Letter size paper, and that you should go back to Page Setup and change it. After you do that, if your Layout Style is set to Single Image you should be able to set the Cell Size to 11 x 15 inches.

  • How to print specific pages of a pdf from a vb 2013 program using a print dialog

Hi.  I am using the acrobat sdk to display pdfs from within a vb 2013 program, because the pdfs are large and we have developed indexes on certain columns.  The indexes are stored in SQL tables.  My program has a search window which allows the user to search for a value and displays all the pages on which this value appears in the indexed column in a listbox.  By double-clicking on the desired value in the listbox, the user can go to the selected page and column.  However, the user also needs to be able to highlight one or more of the pages in the listbox and print these pages.  I could do this silently using AcroExchAVDoc.PrintPages, but the user also needs to have a print dialog displayed in order to possibly select a watermark to be printed on the pages.  I also need to default the orientation of the pages depending on the document.
I have reviewed the sdk documentation and also searched in Google and on this site but have not found a way to do this.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Mary

    Hi.
I did try using the printParams feature and it worked, but since I need to be able to print sets of non-consecutive pages,  I end up having to bring up the print dialogue multiple times and have the user set watermarks each time.
I decided to just create a new pdf in a temp directory containing the selected pages and open this document in a new window.  This works well and allows them to use the print button on the window to print, bringing up the print dialogue just once.  However, since I need to open the document in a way that shows the print button, I am using OpenInWindowEx, with AV_DOC_VIEW, and the option PDUseBookmarks or PDUseThumbs, rather than PDUseNone.  This displays a toolbar which also includes icons for creating a new pdf, deleting pages, etc.  I do not really want to include these icons on the toolbar.  Is there a way to remove unwanted icons from the toolbar, or make them invisible?
Hope this makes sense.  Thanks for your help.

    Hi Joseph,
How were u able to resolve your issue on Chinese font printing using Zebra? This is because I'm supposed to print Chinese texts & data using Zebra label printer. The problem is, inspite of using the Chinese font residing in the printer's memory card, i am not getting any output whenever i run a standard SAP report (VL74) calling a customized saprscipt report. Please help check my codes below. Also, I'm not sure of the command ^A1B, if it is still needed everytime i try to print a text, since i already used the command ^CW1,B:MSUNG.FNT.
I placed them in the Main area of Sapscript. Thanks in advance.
