How to procees the idoc
Hi,
I have process the idoc in BD87..It shown an error of 51..
Now again i want to process the idoc means what i want to do
Which t.code i want to go
Hi Mahesh,
If you configured the system well then in the inbound system you have to get a message 53-application document posted.if you are getting a message 51-application document not posted there may be errors.
for example i have plant 100 in outbound and i created a material for that plant.then i sent it to receiver system.to post the idoc successfully in the inbound system there must be a plant 100.if it is not there the application document will never be posted until u create the plant 100 in inbound.
so check why the status is 51.if there is no error then go to we19 and then select the idoc and assign the functional module and then execute.
if you tell me the message type i will let u know which fm u have to use.
rewards points if helpful.

How to split the IDOCS based on document number change whit out BPM
Hi all,
Thanks,for giving the responce..
Scenario:File to IDoc.
Problum1 : How to Split the IDocs based on document number change in the source file with out BPM.My file contains document numbers like
20000092
20000092
20000092
50000050
50000050
50000065
I want 3 IDocs in target system.i.e 1 for 20000092,20000092,20000092
2 for 50000050,50000050
3 for 5000006
By using external definations i am getting 6 IDOCs insted of 3.
Problum 2:Is there any chnges/modifications in Directory when we are using external definations.
Could u plz provide me the step by step process(Repository/Directory) with using of external definations.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
KPHI,
for this no need of BPM.
You can think of Idoc bundling concept to acheive this-just you need to do the external definition to change the idoc occurence
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/04/xi-idoc-bundling--the-trick-with-the-occurance-change
to achieve for each document no, one idoc, you can write small user defined function in the mapping with context handling you an achieve this.
For this e.g

How to import the IDOC into Seeburger BIC mapping designer
Hi All,
Can u please tell me how to import the IDOC into Seeburger BIC mapping desginer.
I have scenario My scenario is SAP GTS 7.0.....>Seeburger BIS.....>Atlas customs system for Germany
Idoc coming from SAP GTS to Seeburger BIS and then convert to EDIFACT send
to Atlas systeam.
Regards,
Ramesh.Hi Ramesh
BIC is a tool from Seeburger to transmit the XML data to EDI and EDI to XML.
Seeburger mapping programs for transferring the XML data to EDI data and EDI data to XML data, but not for the structure changing, in the IR your mapping program is same.
Receiver side you need AS2 Adapter for converting data to EDI target structure. we have many EDI versions are available, for converting the EDI to XML or vice versa AS2 gives some default mapping programs, xml to EDI or EDI to XML convertion done through this mapping programs.
Seeburger AS adapter provider provides some mapping programs(for example EDI4010 version or other), if you are using the same EDI version(4010) then you can use that mapping programs, if the version is different then we can manually generate the Seeburger X2E and E2X mappings for the corresponding version and signal(850 or 810 or ..), for this seeburger provides the mapping designer tool (BIC), there we can develope the X2E and E2X mapping programs and configure this in the Seeburger work bench.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
There is no data in the xml, but in SAP side i seen data and segment which sent to MII as a IDOC. Please help me how to resolve this issue.Hi, Thanks for quick response.
In Message monitor I seen the IDOC list after executing POIT transaction code in SAP.
But the display button is disabled always in message monitor screen. I want to take this IDOC and save it in my SQL database. So I want to see this IDOC structure in XML format. Where i can see this structure? -

Hi
How to archive the IDOC to remove error form some report
Thanks
ManjunathaHi
goto Transaction SARA , Archiving Object - IDOC - IDoc - Intermediate Document
1 .Enter the archiving object IDOC and choose the required action, here Write (= Archive).
A warning will be displayed if some of the archiving sessions for the archiving object IDoc are still incomplete. You can ignore the warning but you then run the risk of possibly archiving some IDocs twice.
2. Define the start date of the archiving session and the spool parameters (print output).
The traffic lights should now be green, indicating that these parameters have been maintained. Please note that you can set the archiving mode for the print output to Store Only and therefore avoid printing every individual archiving log. Enter the object type IDOC as the attachment parameter and use the F4 Help to select a suitable document type for the object type. Also enter a free text as Additional information for the archiving report.
4. Choose Maintain to create a report variant. As selection parameters, enter the message type and a time period within which the IDocs received their last, current status.
5.You can specify whether you want to perform this variant as Test or Production, in the Process Flow segment of the selection parameter screen. If you choose Test, you get statistics of the processed IDocs. For a detailed log, select Detailed Log.
6. Choose Continue and save your variant.
7. Return to the archiving screen and choose .
If you selected immediately in step 3, the message New archiving job was generated is displayed in the message bar at the bottom of the screen.
8. You can check whether your archiving session is complete by selecting Job overview. If you choose Administration, an overview of the completed and incomplete archiving runs is then displayed. If IDocs which match your selection parameters were found in the database tables, your archiving session is displayed as a folder full of archive files.

How to restrict the idoc creation based on the distribution model
Hi all,
I want to create the idocs for certain material types only, for this i configured Distribution model and set the filter for material types.
If the delivery is created with the material type which is not in the filter means,
Idoc is creating for that Delivery with header segments only and restricting Item level segments.
it is coming to XI and failing in mapping every time.
I do not want to generate the whole idoc itself. Am i missing any thing??
Regards
Edited by: Suman gupta on Jun 10, 2010 11:13 PMHi Mike,
>>config in PI in the routing condition - if no lines exits don't send the message to the mapping/receiver
If no lines exists we can restrict don't send to receiver, but how can we restrict dont send to mapping??
It comes to mapping and failing in PI MONI.
Is there any way that i can restrict the Idoc generation itself in ECC ??

How to serialize the IDoc of DEBMAS by time sequence?
Hi experts,
We want to transfer customer master data from one client to the other.
We have carried out the serialization distribution for message type DEBMAS
and actived the change point.
Scenario:
time 1 : We created one "NEW" customer 100436.
time 2 : We assigned the Head Office of "existed" customer100435 as 100436
The time of the distribution job was arrived,
the job started to run and failed to change "existed" customer 100435
even though "NEW" customer 100436 has created sucessfully.
We think the IDoc should be processed by time sequence,
but it seems not.
Did you think it is processed by customer key ascendence ?
How do we define the process sequence of the IDoc?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Regards,But what if i want to check the format of date that my
database supports ?
Actually situation is :
I am making a form designer by which user will inset
date to a particular column. okay.
now the format of date must match with the underlying
format of database. Then only query will be
successfull. Is it not so.?No.
Basically you will be doing the following:
Browser -> java.util.Date
java.util.Date -> JDBC -> database
JDBC does the 'conversion' work for you, you just need to put it in the java.util.Date.
suppose database table-> column's format is
YYYY/DD/MM Databases don't store dates like that. They usually (probably always) store it as a signed integer value which is relative to a specific date/time.
When you use a database tool to look at the value the database tool converts it from the number to a format that looks familar to you.
and user enters date in the format
DD/MM/YYYY, then i will have show an error message to
the user that the format of date that he has entered
is wrong. No need for that.
The user does need to put the date in in a form that you understand. So you can convert it to a java.util.Date.
java.text.SimpleDateFormat can help with that. -
How to find the IDOC for the archived message in integration engine
Hello experts
In my outbound scenario (Idoc to file), I have a message id got processed from integration engine (SXMB_MONI) but failed in adapter engine (RWB) on 1week back, The same message archive in SXMB_MONI but i found same message in adapter engine.
My question is how to find the archive message IDOC num
We can't find in adapter engine it will show only (sender service, receiver service and interface date and time as well and receiver structure in message content tab) but not idoc no,
Kindly provide the solution for the issue, Is there any alternative to find the idoc?
I can search with partner in sap side but i can get lot of idoc's
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
If solution given by experts in above replies doesn't work then you can try below method.
What you can do is, take some unique values from message content tab (which came in some specific segment from IDOC)
Now in R3 use tcode WE09 and set the dates when this was processed. Set other filter criteria as much as possible e.g. direction, idoc basic type, port, partner etc and at the bottom you can "Fast search mode" their you give the segment name and it's value.
This will help you get you IDOC.

How to route the Idoc to Two Different Locations based on the Plant Values
Hi All,
We will generate single Idoc, in that we will have 2 E1MARCM segments, one will have UK plant and another will have US plant.
Now in XI, receiver determination i need to route the idoc to corresponding folders.
How can we do this, because in x-path, we can check always for the first segment only, second segment will not come into picture.
Please suggest meHi,
we can check the multiline present in receiver determination and specify the condition for both US an UK receiver systems.
Or if you are sure that only two (UK and US) will come , then check the condition for Say UK and check the defualt reciver system in case of failure ,if its US it will go to the default system.
You can also try out the interface determination condition, please check if below links can help.

How to define the IDOC adapter in XI ?
Hi Experts,
We are having a scenario where in we are taking an INVOICE Idoc from SAP & sending it to various Non SAP-systmes. e.g. Billing details from SAP is goint to SQL database / Db2 & for XML as B2b.
In the above scenario how do i need to configure the IDOC communication channel which can give the same information to all three systems.
I am looking for IDOC configuration in R/3 as well as XI what all steps are required to receive this IDOC & how to divert the same IDOC to all the target system at the same time.

How to stop the IDOC adapter using IDPI framework (APIs)?
Hi Guys,
We have a requirement to start/stop the communication channels depending on the Integration scenarios. But for IDOC and HTTP we dont have any sender channels.
Plz let me how can we stop the adapter ,so that no more IDOCs are received .
We are looking for some API (IDPI framework) if available.
Locking the RFC users is not an acceptable soln here.
Hope to get some info soon.
Regards
DhanyaHi Dhanya,
there is a way on PI side alone
for IDOC 2 steps needed:
1st: Determine all the IDoc metadata that is involved in your communication in IDX2 (basically all idoc types that the sending system sends) then deleted it all
2nd: Determine the IDoc port of the sending system in IDX1 (it should be an RFC destination pointing to the sending system) then Disable or delete that port
On runtime a validation of the loaded idoc metadata happens on PI and the sending side (experienced this on ERP6 & ERP5, not sure on lower versions >4.5), if the sending system determines that there is an inconsistency between its idoc structure against the idoc structure loaded in PI the idoc will be stuck in trfc queue (SM58) having error something like table EDI*** conflicts. In our case when you disable the IDoc port in IDX1 and there is no idoc metadata in IDX2 when the sending system tries to send idoc PI will try to fetch the idoc metadata but it won't be successful because the IDX1 port is disabled already.
for HTTP, you can try to disable service /sap/xi/adapter_plain in SICF but please consider the resending of the message should be handled also on the sending side.
hope this helps
