How to produce a HD video compatible with a Samsung Smart TV

Using Compressor I need to produce a HD video compatible with an Smart Samsung TV.
I have tried many formats, but no one is readable. Could you help ?
Celes

I did it with FCPX as mp4 without compressor.  I put it on a USB key and it was possible to see it on my Samsung connecting the key to a USB port of the TV.
I have not the video with me now and cannot give you more info about the exact codec. For sure it was taken with an Olympus camera at 1080p and edited with european standards. The Samsung was bought in Germany.
Nothing to do with your question but only as a tip: Samsung TV has a proprietary Formatting for external HD to be used for recording. They have to be formatted by the TV and any video you record on this HD from the TV can be seen only with the same TV set.  I found no way to edit or copy the recordings even to make a private backup.
For this reason I prefer to use an external receiver (Clarketech) to be free to edit the recordings.

how to download versions of apps compatible with OSX 10.7 not the ones updated for 10.9?
I'm trying to download iLife and iWork apps for my MacBook. For example: The GarageBand app will not download because it says it is compatible with 10.9. I have 10.7 and cannot update to 10.9 because I'm on a 13in. Late 2007 MacBook. Any suggestions?

Click here and follow the instructions. If they’re not applicable, you can’t download them and need to install them from a DVD.

If you are talking about this...

    Or the black model.
    Then yes.
I am using my 5G iPod with video with that model.
To prevent damage to the dock connector on your iPod, you may want to get this...
    http://www.ihomeaudio.com/products.asp?productid=10016&deptid=1000
Keep in mind that I am using it with the newer models of that model. (Mine had an iPod nano compatible sticker on it and came with a remote). I would imagine that it works fine with the older model of that one as well.
But yes, if you are talking about the iH5, it works :)

Is the MacBook Pro compatible with a Samsung Galaxy Note? If so, how do I transfer pictures from my mobile device to my Mac?

10.7's phone support may be different from 10.6.  Are you running 10.6 or 10.7?  You posted to the 10.6 forum, yet your signature says you have 10.7.2.     Plus you quoted the 10.6 article.

  • How do I render a video transparent with AE?

Youtube videos show using flv but I do not see that option. I know how to use keylight to make the green screen transparent but can't seem to create the actual video that way.

It's actually called Toggle Transparency grid. It looks like a little checkerboard and it is just left of the Active Camera selector.
NO MEDIA PLAYER will give you a transparent background, it will always look black. A video with an alpha channel will only show up transparent if you bring it into an app that supports alpha channels like AE or Premiere Pro. You cannot have a transparent background in the QuickTime player or in the Windows Media Player. They do not support it.
Did you try the Lossless with Alpha preset? Did you read up on rendering? You cannot just poke around until you get it, you have to read up and understand what you are reading.
If you are trying to render an FLV file for flash then you must use CS6 or earlier. A better approach if you are headed for flash is to render a png sequence with transparency and load that into flash. No matter what you do, embedding a video in a flash file is going to take some bandwidth to play back and it's not going to be compatible with mobile devices. It would really help if we knew what you were trying to accomplish. I still have no idea what kind of product you are trying to get AE to deliver.

  • Making QT videos compatible with video iPod

  • How to make windows 8.1 compatible with dng converter 8.1?

I have installed the DNG Converter 8.1 so that I can view/edit RAW files on Photoshop Elements 12, but Windows 8.1 states "the source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files".  I have an Sony Alpha 6000 (version 8.4), and have moved the RAW files into a folder on my C drive.  DNG Converter won't work even if I run it on Windows 8, is there no way to make Windows 8.1 compatible with DNG Converter 8.1?

    From that faq:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html
I see that you need the DNG converter 8.4 to convert Sony Alpha 6000 raw files.
Download that version of the DNG converter to replace your version 8.1.

  • How to make my form be compatible with older adobe versions

    Hello,
I created a dynamic form with adobe lifecycle 9. As users try to use the form, they get this error:
"This PDF form requires a more recent version of Adobe® Reader® or Adobe Acrobat® software. While this form may appear to be working, some elements may not function correctly or may not appear at all."
Is there a way to make the form be compatible with older adobe versions?
    Thanks.

In the File Menu -> Form Properties under Default Tab, choose the Target Version of Adobe Reader that you expect users to have the minimum version.
If any of the functionality does not compatible with the selected version, then the warnings will be displayed under report tab. You can access it by going to Window menu -> Report.
    Thanks

  • How to create a multi video player with iMovie

Hey folks, I have a great wee QT player for my daughter's website which was generated for me by iMovie export. Lovely.
But- folk are wanting to see more videos of her singing.
Question- how to generate a multi-video player using the same principles (and same simple design)? One like those generated by YouTube's facility to create a list of videos to appear in a single player, or where it is possible to just click a "next" tab? Here is the page I am referring to: http://www.brigidmhairi.com/music.html
Just to clarify- I am not wanting to use the YouTube player because it is a bit fussy and doesn't look right on the site in mind. The QT one has no borders etc and therefore suits me better. Besides- the 320 format is perfect.
Hope someone can help me, thank you SO much.

    Hi HighlanderIn ..
    who else than me.. ?
this is no iMovie related question.. that is
    a) html/CSS-coding or
    b) some flash-app
read out the code on your linked website ... :
    <embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://cache.reverbnation.com/widgets/swf/33/videogallerywidget.swf
    pageobject_id=artistxxx bla bla bla /><br/>
    <a href="http://www.reverbnation.com/main/artist_feature/widgets">
    bla bla bla ..
    </noscript>
.. going to that website reverbnation.com, it looks like they offer, as YT, a video-hosting service plus that 'special' player as a flash-code you can embed in your website (as the YTplayer) ..
    so, here are your options:
    • use this service.. costs? no idea, research on your own ..
    • use flash, encode yourself.. perhaps, you can find some 'ready made' coding?
    • *what website-maker do you use?* iWeb offers a template for videos.. many on one preview-page, 'click' creates a bigger version for playback ..
.. as mentioned: less iMovie, more 'website creation' ..

  • How to create a help box compatible with reader mobile?

I've imported an excel file into pro and then modified the pdf form. I attempted to create "pop up" help boxes two ways:
    1. action button with java script
    2. action button with show/hide field
Each time I imported the pdf form into formscentral, downloaded it, emailed it to myself, and then opened it on my mobile device (with adobe reader, not another reader). Neither way recognizes the help boxes.
As I've been reading, it seems like a lot of bells and whistles aren't compatible with reader mobile which is very disappointing. Is there any way to create help boxes that are compatible with reader mobile?

    Hi;
I think you will get better assistance with this question in the Reader Mobile forums:

  • Are AIR touch apps compatibles with the Samsung SUR40 ?

We are planning to develop a multitouch AIR application (AIR 3.2 SDK) for our client.
This application will be deployed for an interactive table inside a show room.
We are particularly interested in buying the Samsung SUR40 (os : Windows® 7 Professional for Embedded Systems x64).
Can Adobe confirm that AIR developement is compatible with this table or do we have to use the Microsoft Surface SDK to reach good performances ?
    Thanks,
    Flo

    Hi,
I can also confirm that Flash AIR runs perfectly fine on the Samsung SUR40. Although I only got it to run when running in regular win7 mode. Haven't got it running from the Surface mode yet. But even in regular win7 mode you can use flash.ui.Multitouch and get access to up to 50 simultaneous touchpoints.... It's awesome!
