How to provide MASS transaction concept to table maintenece generator

Hello ,
Can any body provide me the solution ....for how to add MASS transaction working concept to table maintenence generator.
In our requirement user will select some number of records from table maintenence view using MENU >SELECTIONS>SELECT BY CONTENTS .
Based on this they will select number of records to update .
from this step they want the same functionality of MASS transaction
Any help is appreaciated and rewarded.

I have created a Z Table. and I maintained the Table maintenance generator for the same. Now, my requirement is.. I have to create Transaction code for maintain and Display of this Z table.
Can someone help me how to create the transaction code for Maintain and Display of the table. I know that we have to create a Transaction code for 'SM30'. Can someone tell me the steps to do the same. When I goto SE93 and say CREATE transaction, I get 5 options, Which one to select and what are the details should I provide in the subsequent screens.

1. Go to Tcode u2018se93u2019.
2. Select ' Transaction with parameters'.
3. Then Transaction 'SM30' with click on skip initial screen
      VIEWNAME : XXX9tABLE NAME)
      UPDATE   : X
4. Maintain the Table maintenance generator
Authorization group : &NC&
Authorization object :
Function group : name(xxx)
Maintenance Screens :
Maintenance type : One step
Maint Screen No : Overview screen (2)

I am building table maintainance generator in that i want the serial number shold be displayed or generated for new entry automatically.
please mind this, i am going to put more that one entry at single time and my serial number field is primary key in table .

In table maintenance we can add an event during new entries creation, in that add code to read the table for the last entry and increment one to it. Hence whenever a new entry is created serial number value is generated.

How to disable a field in the table maintenance generator of a table

dear experts,
i have created a table with 2 fields A ,B . i had created table maintenance generator for the table. i am entering the values for the table through table maintenance generator . for filed A i had given dropdown list which contains only 2
entries YES & NO. my requirement is if i select YES in field A , field B should be in enable mode(it must take some input), if i select NO in field A, field B should be in disable mode ( it should not take any input).

Hi Krishna,
A further to the above, you can go to SE11 and in the table maintenance generator click on
Fn.Gr.Text button, then go to Main program.
Here you will see "User-defined Include-files (if necessary). "
Just uncomment the PAI include and put your code..to make the field editable or un-editable.
To do that you might have to go to the screen painter and change that screen, to include those fields in a group or something, so that you can control them better.

I have a table maintanence genarator of 5 fileds in which there are 2 primary fields. My requirement is to HIDE/INVISIBLE the first column (which is one of the primary key- SPRAS).
How can i do this without coding???

How to set cursor in perticular field Table Maintence generator?

All
I have created a table with 2 fields Start_date and End_date. Now my requirement is i have to validate the both date field as Start_Date must be LESS than or EQUAL to End_Date. In table maintenance maintenance generator i have created a event VALIDATE_DATE in event 21. Its validating perfectly. The issue is after the ERROR message the Cursor is going to the key field. I want to set the cursor at End_Date field.
I used
data:ly_pos type i.
IF NOT start_date LE end_date.
SET CURSOR FIELD 'TABLE_NAME-END_DATE' LINE sy-linno OFFSET lv_pos.
MESSAGE exxx(MsgClass).
ENDIF.
Its working for the FIRST time i am entering the new data. Next time the cursor going to the KEY field. I have been asked not to write code in SE80. Anyhow i have to set the cursor in table maintenance maintenance generator event.
Can anybody help?

Please follow the below method:
Go to Maintainance Screen (where you want the cursor setting). Goto Status - > Remember the screen name -> Double click on Program name.. Open Object list and expant Screen Tree -> double click on the same screen Number -> Go to its first tab attributs -> Change Mode -> Do F4 on Cursor Position field -> Choose the field where you want the cursor.
But this way will always set the cursor at the HardCoded Field Name.

We can fetch the data by using the views concept.
Go throuth this info we can know the how to create view and same like database table only we can fetch the data.
Views conatin the data at runtime only.
Four different view types are supported. These differ in the
way in which the view is implemented and in the methods
permitted for accessing the view data.
Database views are implemented with an equivalent view on
the database.
Projection views are used to hide fields of a table (only
projection).
Help views can be used as selection method in search helps.
Maintenance views permit you to maintain the data
distributed
on several tables for one application object at one time.

Hi,
There are some steps you need to follow.
1) table should be table maintainence allowed then only you can create Transaction for that u can maintain table maintainence.
2) Go to Transaction se93.
3) Give the transaction name and provide the short text.
4) Select the Radio button as Transaction with parameters (parameter Transaction).
5) Then fill with transaction with SM30.
6) Check the Skip initial screen.
7) Below there is one tab called Default values there you need to maintain the Table name and put the option as X.

Now my requirement is : I have to create a transaction variant zsark_var for sm30 and table zsark. I have to disable the output of the first screen. I have to assign the transaction variant to the transaction code of table zsark.

1 Goto SE93 transaction
2 Choose 5th option Transaction with parameters
3 Give transaction : SM30, Check Skip Initial Screen Press Enter
4 Goto Bottom left corner, click F4 select viewname, on right hand side give table name
5 Press one more time F4, choose update , mark it X on right side.
6 save the transaction.
