How to publish a PI7.1 System in SR to create PRovider System in CE7.1

Hi All,
We have CE7.1 EHP1 System. When we try to create a provider system for a PI7.1 system in our landscape, the PI system is not available in the help entries.
If we proceed wiht manual entry, in the end it thows the error " Provider system not published in service registry".
Kindly let me know how to publish a PI7.1 system to the Service Registry so that we can create a Provider system in CE7.1.

Technical System not appearing while creating Business System

Hi
We had already created business system and assigned a technical system and all the interfaces was working fine.
Now we removed the technical system and created a new technical system, since we need to point to different server.
I created a new technical system, oped the old business system and in integration tab, when i click on change technical system.
The newly created technical system is not appearing.
Thought of assigning the business system directly in technical system, but it is not allowing and i am getting message business system is already assigned.
Can you pls help

Hi Madhan,
When you create a Business System, it will ask for the type of Technical system like Web AS ABAP, Web AS Java etc.
So, the new TS type should match the TS type you selected for your BS so that you can see your TS in the dropdown, when you click on "Change" link.

7.2 Trial: Assign Provider system to service group

Hi Experts,
I've created a BPM with an automated activity that shall call a web service provided by a CAF application (everything takes place on a CE 7.2 Trial server).
In WS navigator the CAF web service works.
In my BPM the process always gets stuck in the autmated activity (without any error message).
Now I've tried to setup some system configurations:
1. Creating provider system (in SOA Management/Technical Configuration/System connections)
The communication profile is SAP_DEFAULT_PROFILE, the service source is the service registry.
Pinging the system works, so I guess that it's ok.
2. Setting up the application communication (in SOA Management/Application and Scenario Communication/Application Communication):
There I have to Software components in the list: a) testblcafear and b)testpr~pm
For a) I've assigned SAP_DEFAULT_PROFILE as profile
For b) I tried to add the provider system to the service group, but after saving I always get a red light and the following log message:

The service is in the SR, I can see it under SR/service definitions.
How can it be that the SLD ID is different for provider and and receiver? In both cases it's the same system!
I've checked our SLD and we don't have a system number (because it's a trial license). Could that be the reason?

I have the same problem with the trial version. However, today I've deployed my application in a official released version of CE, and this error don't occur. Maybe this is an error of trial version.

When we connect webserver, we use this URL "http://www.mysales.net".
At that time, Browser show "Basic Authentication" Box and We type userid, password.
Would you write for me what I have to do in properties.
All properties seemed to be related is

1) host name:(do we have to give sap system name or xi system name)
and while creating business system for this technical system am not able to find the option under RELATED INTEGRATION SERVER i.e xi3/sxi what ever it may be,so am facing very difficulty while creating communication channel and not able to select the integration engine under the ADAPTER ENGINE ,so please provide me suitable solution with screen shoits if possible ,it very urgent for me

-->I created Provider system.(it is in active state only).
-->when im trying to assign the Provider system to the Previously created service group,
its giving the following exception.

How to get the UDDI Key to publish a service provider system in SR?

trying to publish a service provider system into the service registry. One thing not clear to me is how to get the uddikey as needed in step 6 in appendix 1.
My service registry is in a PI 7.1 SP4 system. I followed the instruction in appendix 2 but there is no uddi key displayed in the General tab. Please help.

Paragraph extracted from the whitepaper:
There may be cases in which the NWA logical settings do not match the Services Repository
settings when Visual Composer is trying to locate the enterprise services. Such cases can occur
when there is no SLD ID definition of the physical system in the Services Repository.
Currently, Visual Composer cannot search for services on a physical system with an empty SLD ID
(which is not a valid one).
To obtain this capability, the following steps should be performed to generate the necessary data
for each system with a non-valid SLD ID, so that Visual Composer can search for services over it.
1.Log on to http://<serverName>:<serverPort>/WSNavigator.
2.Select the Services Registry radio button.
3.In the Find field, enter sr and choose Go.
4.Select the ServicesRegistrySi line and choose Next.
5.Under the Operation Name, search for the publishPhysicalSystems operation, select it and choose Next.
6.Fill the service information parameters with the following (see Appendix 2 for details on how to get this information) :

6.2.Deselect the Classifications checkbox.

No worries, you can go to UDDI client from the main page of PI i.e. http://<serverName>:<serverPort>/
And you use the search function for the TModel for your Physical System. Search parameters can use the % wildcard.
Hit the search and you find the UDDI Key for the Physical System.

How to publish definitions to agentry server from other system having Agentry editor?

   I have agentry editor in one system and the agentry server in another system.
   Now I want to publish the definitions from the editor to the server. i.e, the server is maintained centrally in one host, editor definitions from different systems should published to the server hosted centrally.
   How can I achieve this? Please help me

Hi Swaroopa,
          When the agentry server is running in one system and the editor in another system, both the systems should be connected in network and the Agentry Server folder should be shared to a group of users who want to access your server.
When the application developing in editor is completed,while publishing click browse button ,then network connections,and select the system in which the agentry server is running,then in server folder select agentry.ini file.
     Now your application is published to another system agentry server .Check the application in ATE.

How to publish Work Manager 6.0 on SMP3.0 ?

I'm trying to get the Work Manager 6.0 running on SMP 3.0 (running on Linux). Currently the events.log within the Agentry folder states, that the Agentry Server was started. But If I look into the Threads*.log I see there might be a problem and I'm also not able to connect to the server.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any manual or post where someone described the steps to get a work manager running on SMP 3.0. The SMP 3.0 server manual as well as the SDK manual just describing in general how to publish an application to the SMP 3.0. But for Work Manager, there might be some special things to be done ...
Any help/hints are welcome!

When trying to connect with the WPF client I get a communication error (14) and nothing is shown in the log files ..

deleting the service events was helpful regarding the error shown in the Thread log file. After publishing a new version the server seems to start, but has no activity to SAP. I expected at least an initial logon to the SAP system using the service user.

How to publish a SAP Web Service in SAP XI/PI 7.0

First I've to say that I'n new in this deals with SAP Web Services and SAP XI/PI.
I've created a Web Service with TX SE80 using a standard BAPI.
I've created the Client Proxy with TX SE80.
I've created a Logical Port wiht TX LPCONFIG.
I've tried this is SOAMANAGER but I have this error...
"SRT Framework exception: Uninstantiated object "subject sidl service" in method IF_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL~CREATE_CLNT_CFG_FROM_WSDL_D of class CL_SRT_WSP_CONFIG_SIDL"
I would like to publish this service in my SAP XI/PI 7.0
How can I solve the error in SOAMANAGER?
How can I publish de SAP WS that I've created in SAP XI/PI?

And by following Nags hints I got solution:
1, On the system where is your service provider, run transaction SICF
2, Execute this transaction
3, Go to node: default_host/sap/bc/srt/wsil
4, Right click on "wsil" -> choose "Test service" - web browser should open with XML definition of service
5, Find your service provider. In my case it looks like this:

How to Publish a report created by Oracle report builder

Hi Everyone
My colleague and I were trying to use the Oracle Reports Builder to replace our existing reports generator from our ERP system. We have already created the report in the Reports Builder from the development suite.
What we are looking for is a similar solution as the Microsoft reporting service;
1) create the company report templates
2) and then upload the template files to a location (e.g. folder on the server)
3) then all user in the company can access it by a web browser with some fields which they can enter some critiria (e.g. purchase order number).
4) then send to printer and the print out should look exactly like the template.
Unfortunately, we had very bad time on try to find out what we need and how to publish that Oracle report we created. We spent 15 hours on that but no result.
In that 15 hours we tried to setup the "Oracle report service", but at last my colleague said that wasnt what we looking for, the "Oracle report service" is for reporting the error from the application hosted on the server, not for publish the company report created by the "Oracle report bulider" .
We use Oracle Database 10g for the ERP quite a long time already. We had the Oracle Developer Setup, and the Application Server Installed.
Could someone please tell us what kind of Oracle service we are actually looking for. Any other suggestion and setup guides are also the most welcoming.

SNC5.1- How to Publish multiple line items in SNC Web UI (Supplier view)

Hi Experts,
I am working in SAP SNC Supplier Collaboration project. I have a scenario where i am trying to "Publish PO" for multiple line items in Web UI. I am able to confirm each PO line item and Save PO. But if i try to publish one line item at a time, then the system publishes the 1st line item and it does not allow me to publish the remaining PO line items.
All i can do is, Confirm and Save all line items, and then "publish" it at the end. In this way,i can view all the confirmed line items (POA) in SNC. But how do I Confirm/Save/Publish each PO line item?

As the POC standard process Supplier should give confirmation for all PO items after confirmation of all items it should allow to Published the PO at Header level.
If supplier does not give confirmation for all items it should not allowed to Published the PO at Header level but you are able Published the PO at header level without confirmation of all PO items.
You can implement note no: 1320445 (manual implementation is required).
After implementation of this note without confirmation of all PO items it won't allow to publish the PO at header level.
Please let me know for any clarification.

How to publish a Jsp file as a Portlet

I am using the Oracle Portal to develop a business system, and I have created a Jsp file with the report builder. I have the Jsp file, I have created the provider.xml and configured the zone.properties on the 9iAS.
The problem is that; when I try it on the Portal, it does not appear to publish as a portlet. Do I have to make some configurations before?What is missing to work properly?
I heard something about virtual path, or something like that. Is there anything with it?I also heard about repositories. Do I have to create one?And how?

You can't pass Java classes to Java Stored Procedures via the PL/SQL wrapper. You'll have to write your wrapper to take the int as a NUMBER and the two Strings separately as VARCHAR2s, e.g.:
