How to publish with my iOS Dev Account ?

Hi there,
I wrote an iBooks and I want to publish it on the iBooks store but i can't connect to iTunes Connect. It says " The iTunes Store account entered is already being used for an iTunes Connect account that distributes Apps. To continue with this application, you must enter a different iTunes account. "
May i create another account just for that ?

Log out from one...log in to the other and use Safari's 'Empty Cache' menu to help clear the cruft if you stumble.

can anyone tell me how many udids can i register with a personal account as i have a team of testers i would like to add , would i need a company dev account for this thanks or will my personal one be ok for this

Still the same. Maximum 100 per year for testing. Individual Developer Account, person or company.
Enterprise Account is for distribution to employees, not via the App Store.

My Apple ID Password does not work with the iOS Dev Center

Hello, When I go to log in to the Dev Center the password wil not recognise. I have changed it serveral times and it says it is good but when i go to the dev center it does not work? Please help, thanks

IPod touch texting with new iOS / iTunes account options

My son has an iPod touch and now has texting ability with the new IOS. His iPod is linked to my account, so my name comes up when he texts. Can I create a "sub-account" under mine so his name is the sender, not mine? Or, do I need to make an all new account.?
Any other scenarios to work around without a brand new account?

How to publish with iWeb on other website instead of MobileMe?

I used iweb 3.0 the last time one year ago to publish my website in my mobileme account.
- how can I today publish on another domain?
- do I need also a newver version of iweb to do it an dif yes do I need to buy it or is it aprt of OS-X Lion for example?

You will need to find a 3rd party webhost for your website, I have been using IX Webhosting for several years now with little to no problems "usually the problem was something I did" and they have been quick to solve any issue I have come across.
You specify where your iWeb site will be published from the Site Properties screen. Click the site name in the Site Organizer to display the Publish To pop-up menu. iWeb offers the following publishing options:
Choose where to publish your site.
Publish to MobileMe: This is no longer an option (I use IX WebHosting plans start at $3.95 a mo).
Publish to FTP Server: This publishing option provides you with a completely different collection of settings on the Site Properties screen. You’ll need to furnish iWeb with your Web server’s FTP settings (which should be furnished to you by the host) and your site’s address (or URL).
Publish to a Local Folder: The final publishing option creates a folder on your hard drive that contains all the files to display your Web site. Once again, you must supply the site URL as it will appear on the Internet after you copy or upload the site files to the server.

How to authenticate with OD on Network Accounts outside of a LAN

Does anybody have a solution for allowing a mac computer client to connect and authenticate against my mac mini OD server outside of its LAN. This is so they can access their network accounts. On the laptop at a friends house using snow leopard, I added successfully the network account server which is running at home to their system. When I log out the user accounts appear however upon passwod authentication, the screen just shakes its head.
What can be done so that my friend can be able to log in.

Have you considered enabling the account to be Mobile Accounts? that way even when the network is down, say on an airplane or where ever, they could sitll log into their computers?
Have you tried turning off the firewall? or DMZ the Mac Server? (incase of a port issue) if it works, then you know where to look.
I assume you have: 389, 636, 625, 2336, 4120, 749, 88, 4511
Along the same lines, do you know if they're directly online; or behind a firewall from where ever they're trying to conenct?
Is the OD set to accept all kind of authetication? or only specific porticals? KDC vs Hash, extra. if some login methods are disabled, have you tried enabling them?
Also you could try looking at the secure.log to see if it's spitting out an error message.

Changing Account to Publish with Under Preferences.

Wow. I tried to publish a site from Muse and have my client pay for it. I can't believe how difficult this is!
I went to BusinessCatalyst.com . I could not sign them up for hosting without creating a site from a template first.
Then, I tried publishing from Muse. I could not create a paid for site, only one of my free sites. I called tech support. Adobe only offeres chat, no phone. AAAAuuuuuggghhhh!!!!!
Okay, it seems my client HAS to make an Adobe ID first, then they can create a BC ID and we can publish the site. How difficult is that? Why twice?! Who else does this?!
Another big complaint: I want to publish my clients and I want them to pay for it. Once I set up an Adobe ID for them and eventually get it published, I have to go to Muse > Preferences and choose Publish With and choose an account from the pop-up menu. This is a general account setting—app-wide. Why! This should be individually set for each site. I want my Hotel site published under the hotel's account and my site published under my account, but I am expected to switch this setting everytime I open a new site file? Come on! This only makes sense if I were re-selling the web hosting from Adobe. Is this what Adobe expects me to do? i don't think so. The account setting should probably be set under Site Properties for each site.

AppleId and dev account

Hi, I am a developer for a small company and we have just purchased a MacBook for development of an App for IOS. Also we have an IPhone for testing. Both devices belong to the company. Now for creating an AppleId (plus DevAccount and IOS dev account) should I be using my own credentials because I will be the one developing or should we use company credentials because they own the Apple hardware? I have read the documentation about this issues but I cannot figure out which is the correct way to register. In case we create an IOS dev account with my name what will happen in case I would be replaced by another developer at some point,
Any answer would be appreciated. I am sure this situation is quite common for businesses.

The company will publish and they earn the revenue. But I've read the AppleId required to start the registration process for apple developer and IOS developer need to be made for a real person and not for a company. I will be the real person implementing the app but the company owns the stuff and my boss doesn't want me to have these accounts in my name nor in his name, so then it has to be the company.

I am still unable to open iOS Dev account. Today I am going to Barclays Bank, Islamabad F7. May be they have any information. Most of the people said that It can only be achieved with Credit Card of Standard Charter or Barclays, but somewhere I read that Barclays is the partner Bank of Apple in Pakistan. So may be they have any information regarding this. Also the Credit Card must be on your name. If I got any information I will tell you. If you found any information let me know.

IOS developer account disabled

Hi,
My IOS developer's account is disabled 1 to 2 months ago. I have tried calling apple support center several times but none of them are able to help me. I gave my last try to the Apple US support center, and she advised me to call my bank. I was confused for a moment, wondering how does my bank is related to my account being disabled. At a sudden, I recalled that my itune account was compromised and my bank has stopped a transaction. But how does it apply to my IOS developer account? I am still using my itune account to purchase apps recently. I raised my question to her again, indicating it is the IOS developer account and not iTune account. She kept on insisting, "Call your bank to ask why it is disabled." It does not make sense to call my bank asking why my iOS developer account is disabled. Later she told me she will get someone to call me back, which I think it is unlikely as this has happened before when I called the call center (Asia). I am totally disappointed and upset on the level of support by Apple, and hopes someone can guide me on how to proceed further to get my IOS developer enable again.
I have tried to do some research on the internet and realized it is because of the new iOS5 beta. Apple is preventing people from sharing the iOS5 beta version. But it does not make senses to me, as i dont share my iOS beta version. I have 1 iphone and 1 ipad installed with iOS which are owned by me. Is it because of this? If so, why is it so? My mind is flooded with question marks now.
I am a big fan of Apple but now I am shaken by such a low level support provided by the call center department, hopefully the quality support can be improved in the near future.

Want to buy a dev account

So im looking to buy a $99 ios dev account and i might make apps or not. My question is if i do buy a dev account do i HAVE to put apps through the verifaction proceess or is it if i want to or not? Also if i do put apps is it possible to change what company the apps come from?

The $99 is mostly for access to the app store. If you aren't sure if you want to use the app store, there is no point in spending the $99.
However, there is little point in trying to sell software on your own. It is a thoroughly displeasurable task and you will never find a better deal than what Apple gives you.
If you have downloaded any apps from the app stores, you should realize that the verification process is not that difficult. Supposedly it is now possible to transfer apps from one company to another. I haven't done it. https://developer.apple.com/news/

How do I change the apple ID associated with my dev account to a different, already existing apple ID/account

I currently have an iPhone Dev account, which is associated with a certain apple account. I also have a different apple account, that I have already created. I wish to change the dev account to use this other account. I know you can change your apple ID, but I dont know how to change to an already existing account. When I tried to just change the appleID and email to match that of my other account, I just get an error saying that the email is already in use.
Any thoughts?

no i called the store owner from whom i bought it. he was like i will check in records and if there is something i will let u know...he was like send an e-mail its better so if it was stolen so the shopkeeper wouldnt let me to e-mail to the owner
