adobe doesn't sell that software. you'd have to buy that from a 3rd party which would have some risks because it would almost certainly be used and you would have no way of knowing if it could still be activated (and used).
from adobe, you can purchase (or, at least, subscribe to) flash pro cs6 and it can publish content compatibile with flash player 8 (or even earlier to fp 5).

I have purchased a Linksys wireless-N broadband router in which Network Magic was included (trial). I would like to purchase a license so I can continue using this software. I have searched everywhere on the website, but I can not make a purchase because "there is a problem with what was submitted"??? I have tried with both my VISA and Mastercard and through Paypal, but none of them will accept my order. I have tried to call them but are just being turned over to another call-center where the connection is broken (tried that three times now).
I can not understand it should be such a problem to sell me a license. I have purchased, i dont know how many thing over the internet, without any problems with my cards or anything else.
And please dont advice me to check my submitted info prior to placing the order. I have tried five times, and even my wife can not find errors in those informations.
If I can not get help in here with my problem. Could anyone then point me in the direction of another network managing program that works similar to Network Magic!!!

I'd advise against it... Network Magic as a product was abandoned by Cisco in early 2009 and has not been updated since.

Can I purchase a license for Flash Builder 4?

I'm enjoying using the Flash Builder 4 plug-in for Eclipse. It is saying that i will soon need to enter a serial number. I only see licenses for Flex Builder 3 available for purchase.
Can I purchase just a license for FB 4? If not now, then when? Is there some other way I can keep using FB 4 until then? I don't want to purchase a license for FB 3 (to keep using the FB 4 beta) and then have to purchase a separate upgrade later.

Hi,
Flash Builder 4 license are not available for purchase at this time. To extend your beta license you will need a valid FB 3 license. We'll be having another beta at the end of this year, but it will also have a trial period which will only be extended with a FB 3 license.

If that is the case and Customer Service has no idea of what you were given as a Product Key and how to use it, have you considered asking

If you have a DVD version then you have to use the serial number that is associated with the DVD version. A Cloud subscription number has no relationship to a DVD serial number.

How do I update Java for Adobe Flash CS3?

When I ran Secunia Software Inspector today it told me that
the version of Java I have installed on my computer is out of date.
It tells me that it is finding 3 out-of-date files:
Once here:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\java.exe
Twice here:
C:\Windows\System32\java.exe
and three times here:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\JVM\bin\java.exe
I updated Java via the Sun website and consequently the first
and second warnings disappeared when I reran the Software
Inspector.
The software inspector however is still finding an
out-of-date Java version here:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\JVM\bin\java.exe
Question is: How do I update Java for Adobe Flash CS3?
Is it adequate to copy the updated file "java.exe" from
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_04\bin\" to "C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\JVM\bin\" or do I need to do anything
else?
Any help will be much appreciated.

I have the same problem of you, and the same dont find a
solution. Me it's Kaspersky Anti Virus (AV) which find this
problem.
So (and I dont know if this solution is perfect), but I open
Flash CS3 with the Java update choiced and apparently Flash
fonctionnely well and Kaspersky dont find this
prob now. But I dont never use Java in Flash (or without that
I know that..), and same, I dont know at what Java is used in Flash
I think that "JRE v 1.6.0_04" and more recent Java version is
not good, because it's not quite the same Java application that in
Flash CS3, In Flash CS3 it's "J2RE" and
not "JRE".

If you buy the perpeptual license then it would be OS specific , in that case you would have to buy 2 seperate license however If you go for the Creative Cloud then in that case it would be OS independent , you can install with creative cloud on 2 Windows or 2 Mac or 1 windows and 1 Mac.
Also , with each license you get 2 activation hence 2 can use the software on 2 machine but not at the same time.

Macromedia Flash Professional 8 won't Open

A few weeks ago I had no problems using Macromedia Flash
Professional 8. However, recently I moved and when I got to my new
place, Flash Professional 8 would not open. When I try to open it,
the splash screen appears and when the loading messages get to
"Initializing Fonts", the standard Windows crash window appears.
The one that says "Flash 8 has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please tell Microsoft
about this problem ..."
I thought that maybe I have some corrupt fonts, but all of
the fonts seem to be okay. Maybe I'm not testing them correctly.
Also, for some reason, iTunes no longer works either.
I have tried reinstalling both programs and the error box
still appears. Honestly, I have no idea what to do for here. Any
suggestions, at all, are greatly appreciated!
