How to purchase kids movies?.

I am not very good at computers. I bought this thrive and I can't figure out how to buy kids movies on it. It won't let me use iTunes and I need something for them to watch in the car when wifi is not available. I am thinking of movies like Pixar, Disney... Is there an app place for this? Can it be done from iTunes?

Ted Danson did an excellent movie for tv, Something About Amelia is the title. It was an excellent film for it's time.

There's also Sybil, and you'll be surprised but Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood was based on abuse.
And Mommie Dearest, about actress Joan Crawford's treatment of her adopted child.
Forrest Gump - his best friend Jenny was abused, that's an important part of the story

  • How to purchase "Movies" through the Canadian iTune store?

Could some one please tell me how to purchase a "movie" through the Canadian iTunes store?
The "Movies" icon only available in the United States iTune store. I tried to set up an account through this US store but was unable due to "no option" for Canadian address.
Back to Canadian iTune store page, but there are no "movies" available for purchase and download.
    Please help.

At present movies are only available in the US iTunes store. There are a variety of reasons for this including copyright and licensing issues in different countries.
You cannot purchase anything from an iTunes store outside of the country in which you live as mentioned in the Terms of Sale.
"You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside of the available territory, and that iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance."
The Terms of Use for the iTMS state that you agree that you won't attempt to make purchases from outside the store's country. The chance is small that Apple will cut off your account, but just be aware that it is possible. They certainly won't support your use of the US iTMS from Canada if you do have any problems.

  • I have purchased a movie and it has downloaded.   Next, I get a screen the says Terms and Conditions. It says to click Agree but I. Can not find Agree anywhere in the document.  how do I move forward and access the movie?

I have purchased a movie and downloaded it. Next I get a screen that says Terms and Conditions and tells me to read and click on Agree. I cannot find the Agree anywhere in the document.  How do I move on and view the movie?

Go to Settings>General>Usage. How much space does it show you have?
If you connect your phone to your computer, what does iTunes say is on your phone? Do you see a large amount of "Other"? If so, you may have a corrupted database. You'll need to sync your phone then restore it as NEW (not from back up) then re-sync your data).

  • HT201209 How do i use the Itunes credit to purchase a movie?

My daughter got a gift card for her birthday with 15.00 on it. I have entered it into the redemtion area and see the credit on the account. How do I purchase a movie for her with this credit? I go to purchase the movie and it keeps trying to bill my account.
    Thanks.

Hi there, wasted a full bank holiday day off trying to suss out this problem and got it eventually, well not a full day, but I was very frustrated at the end of it all. So here it goes.....Sign In to iTunes Store, click 'account', then click 'edit' for 'Billing Information'. You already have your credit card details entered, so click 'none' in choice of 'Payment Method' and all your Payment Card details will be erased, click 'done' on the bottom right hand corner of window. Now you will return to your Account Information page and 'no credit card on file' can be seen where originally you could see the last 4 digits of your credit card. Click on 'home' or 'films' and continue with a purchase using the 'iTunes Gift Card' credit on your account.

  • HT3951 I purchased a movie on the AppleTV 2 but it is not showing up in iTunes on my desktop computer. How can I sync? (have lastest version of iTunes and ATV2 software)

Of course it always works, what are you talking about.
I appreciate that re-downloading is only available in the US and then only with certain content. However content that cannot be re-downloaded is not offered for purchase on the Apple TV.

  • How can I put my recently purchased iTunes movies on to my thumb drive and WD My Passport external hard drive. My Mac keeps saying "can't be copy because it is too large for the volumes format

How can I put my recently purchased iTunes movies onto my thumb drive and WD my passport external hard drive. My Mac is saying that can't be copied because it is too large for volumes format

[file] is too large for the volumes format
That is usually an indication that the Volume was never Erased or Partitioned for GUID partition table and Mac OS, and is still in a Windows format.
Mac OS X Extended (journaled) has no such file-size limitations

  • Purchased a movie on my iPhone throught iTunes? I can see it on my computer but I cannot get it to my iPad. I have been looking at all the setting on my computer, iPad and iPhone and I still can't view it on my iPad. How can I view it on my iPad?

I purchased a movie on my iPhone through iTunes. I can see it on my pc and I shared all my media. I am unable to watch it or download it to my iPad. I am using the same email account for all devices for home sharing. I am not sure what the issue is with this and I have check and rechecked many settings many times. How can I view a movie I purchased on iTunes on one device, on all my other devices?

If it's a rental film (not a purchased film) that you downloaded on your phone then you can't move it to your computer's iTunes - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1657:
Can I play my rental on more than one device?
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

Not sure what happend there. But ATV only streams, no HD so if you leave it too long, the whole download gets lost.
    Check with iTS.

  • I recently purchased a movie (Prometheus) on my computer through iTunes and every time I try to put it on my iPhone, it fails. How can I successfully sync this video? Mind you, every other file syncs flawlessly.

Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan.

"Can you put purchased DVD movies that you have on your ipod? "
No.  breaking the encryption in order to copy them illegal.
" what about recorded DVD's that you have? "
    Add them to itunes.

  • HT4910 How do you transfer movies I purchased from the app store from iPad to iPad?

I've bought another ipad2 and I can't figure out how to transfer my movies I purchased from the app store from one iPad to another iPad. Can anyone help?

You can either sync with iTunes to transfer them to your iTunes library, then sync them to the new iPad by selecting them on the Movies tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing.  Or, you can download them directly to your new iPad as a past purchase for free (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519) if permitted by the studio (not all permit this).

  • I purchased a movie as a gift, but failed to click "Gift".  How do I fix this?

I purchased a movie as a gift, but failed to click "Gift".  How do I fix this?

There's probably nothing you can to do fix this, since you purchased the movie yourself and there's no way to send it as a gift now other than re-purchasing it. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the mistake, and ask if there's anything they can do for you:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
It's possible there's something they can do to help, though you shouldn't count on it.
    Good luck.

Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iPad and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films, or if you have problems with the re-downloaded version, then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
