Are you trying to print two pictures on the same sheet of paper? If so, then use Picture Package in CS3 (it is not part of CS6 unfortunately)

I used the inventory template to create an inventory. Now, though, I want to put my own pictures in instead of the ones they have there. How can I do this? I tried Insert<Choose, but (1) I can't get photos directly from IPhoto; and (2) when I get a photo (that I exported as a jpeg), I can't get it to be the right size for the column. There must be some easy way that they put these photos in the columns for the template. I bought an IWork Apple Training Series book and find it no help on this issue. Please help!

OK, I have a huge document on 1730 pages and all text and pictures are in the same layer.
How can I mark all the pictures and put them all in one (other) layer, without doing it manually, page by page?
(maybe using Find/change - Object?)
Can anyone help me?

Does anyone know how to put iphoto pictures into a dvd?

I tried it a couple of ways but I heard if you use idvd that you can put pictures onto a dvd. I just don't know how to work idvd. If any of you could help me, I would really appreciate it.

The answer to your question depends on what you ant to do with the DVD.
Do you want a DVD menu, slide show etc.
iPhoto will allow you to burn straight to a DVD. Just select the album you want to burn then go to share in the tool bar and select Burn.

Someone used my code before I added this new stuff. They took it word for word.
I apologize if you are getting frustrated with me. Please know I am working very hard on this. Learning Java in just a few weeks to me is impossible so I wil take all the help i can get. Options:
1. Export from iPhoto A to the Finder, then import to iPhoto B
This gets the photo over, but no versions, no edit history and not all the metadata
2. Use iPhoto Library Manager
This gets everything: versions, edit history and all the metadata.

Select all the photos that you need to change, then click the "Photos" menu and choose "Adjust Date and Time".
If you add a year, it will adjust all the photos that you selected by adding a year (so if you accidentally select one of the photos that already has "2012", that will change to "2013").

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.
