How to put Blu Ray Dvds to Kindle Fire HD

I’d like to transfer my Blu Ray Dvds to my Kindle Fire HD. However, while I have had no problems
with the original disks, the files play fine on my device, but everything I converted has the same error message: “video cannot be played”. What is the problem?

First of all, check the transferred file location, you need put them to Gallery app directory and your tablet can find them and play well; and remember Android systems compatible Memory cards have a limit of 4GB per file because of the FAT32 file system, including Kindle Fire HD. 720p and 1080p movies today can be up to 10GB, and that's definitely will not transfer to the MircroSd card. So you need re-encode and downsize the file;
or if don’t wanna re-encode and lose video quality, use Pavtube Video Converter Ultimate to rip your disks again, but this time, use its Split feature. Don’t how-to?
Don’t worry, I find a guide page can help.

I have tried this way and it is really usefully.

  • General Overview on How to use Final Cut Studio to create a Blu-Ray DVD

I am a new user of Final Cut Studio and need an experienced user to give my a progression guide on how to create a Blu-Ray DVD of my recent Alaska Trip. Last month I spend 8 days in Alaska visiting Denali and Juneau primarily. During that time I took about 100 short video clips (HD 1080p) and 570+ still photos with my Canon 7D. I have experimented with some pieces of the software and have created a Blu-Ray disk using Final Cut Pro and Compressor. However my goal is to create this DVD with menus that will play short clips (some narrated) and still photos(also some narration). I did a short one in DVD Studio Pro this morning but need some general guidance on what progression and programs to use to create this project. I was not able to take my video from the Studio Pro Sequence I created for my 1st DVD I had to take the original clips which were processed using Apple ProRes 422 and copy them in one at a time and then find the audio (on the voice overs) I created and also place them into DVD Studio Pro one at a time. I obviously need some guidance on the proper progression.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's the situation...
DVD Studio Pro will not do the trick for you - it doesn't do blu-ray discs. If you want to do Blu-ray you've got to use either Final Cut Pro's "Export" command or Compressor's "Burn Blu-ray disc" template. The downside to both of these approaches is that you can't burn more than one title (or movie, etc.) using Final Cut Studio.
To do what you want to do, you need Toast (at least). Toast will auto-generate menus but will let you put more than one title per slide (so you can put multiple slideshows on the same disc).
If you want to do full-on customizing of menus and multi-level menus, for that you need Adobe's Encore.
My suggestion - Get Toast. Encore is close to $800.
Here's your progression (at least the one I use).
Edit in Final Cut Pro (ProRes 422 is fine, ProRes 422 LT would do the trick as well)
Export as QuickTime movies (original settings)
In Compressor using the H.264 for Blu-ray setting and Dolby Digital setting and create elementary streams for video (.264 file) and audio (.ac3). Make sure these files have identical names except for the extension.
Using toast, add the video file to the Toast project and it'll find the audio file.
    Burn away!

  • How do I burn BLU-RAY DVDS from my iMacs?

I own a video production company and we can burn dvds in compressor, but we can't figure out how to setup a menu with multiple tracks to select different options.  Like a menu page.  Does anyone know how to do this on a Mac or by using an optional software?
A couple times compressor has gave us errors on burning a normal mov clip to Blu Ray, so if you recomeend or know any other softwares or even if I have to purchase a PC just to burn Blu Ray DVD's, can you please help me.

Does anyone know how to do this on a Mac or by using an optional software?
I do this using iDVD which is no longer available from Apple, but still available as part of iLife 09 and 11 versions from online vendors. You can either use Chapters or (my preference) simply import your videos as separate movies which will then show up as separate entities in the menu (and selectable separately).
FWIW, Macs do not support burning or playing blu-ray without additional software (and a blu-ray burner) -  Roxio Toast is one that will work.

  • How to burn slide show to Blu-ray DVD ?

I've burned a slide show with music to a regular DVD but it comes out with poor resolution when blowing up to full screen. When I try to burn same to a Blu-ray DVD I can't because it burns at about 20 fps ( which I don't need ) and takes too much memory ....about 4 Gig !

Photoshop Elements does not do the burn of a slide show to a DVD disc or to Blu-ray disc: Photoshop Elements only burns the VERY low resolution VCD format to a CD disc. The DVD formats are created by the Adobe Premiere Elements software which perhaps you purchased in; a bundle with Photopshop Elements.
Premiere Elements has a separate forum at
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements
so that is where you will find people who can help with questions about Blu-ray and standard def video DVDs
When you post on that forum, I recommend that you include which version of the Adobe software you are running, which version of Windows, and whether you are doing your playback of the slide show at full screen on a computer or using a TV DVD player. Also if doing playback on a computer include what software are you using for playback at full screen and what is the resolution of that screen ?

  • Blu-ray DVD no longer recognized by HP MediaSmart or Windows Media Player

I have the HP Pavilion Elite HPE 250-f desktop computer. This computer includes a CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive. I bought this computer in 2010, and all these years I have successfully played CDs and DVDs on the computer. Until now, I have not attempted to play a Blu-ray DVD.
A few days ago, I rented the "Divergent" Blu-ray DVD from my public library. The "Divergent" regular DVD was included in the package.
I put the Blu-ray into the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive. The HP MediaSmart software recognized the Blu-ray, but the software got into an endless "update" loop and did not play the Blu-ray. Microsoft's Windows Media Player also recognized the Blu-ray, but did not play the Blu-ray.
One solution I heard about was to plug an HDMI patch cord into the back of my computer box, with the other end of the HDMI patch cord not plugged into anything. Supposedly, the HP MediaSmart software would play a Blu-ray if the software sensed an HDMI cord. Unfortunately, that did not work.
I then downloaded the Media Player Codec Pack, http://download.cnet.com/Media-Player-Codec-Pack/3000-13632_4-10749065.html    Supposedly, this Codec Pack would allow the Windows Media Player to play the Blu-ray. The Codec Pack included the Classic Media Player.
I tried to play the Blu-ray on the current Windows Media Player and the Classic version, with the new codecs installed. But nothing worked. I then used System Restore to get rid of the  Media Player Codec Pack. I found out that, in addition to the codecs, I was supposed to use the Slysoft AnyDVD HD software. However, I did not make any more attempts to use the codecs, and I did not download the Slysoft software.
Now, here's where things get weird. Now, the HP MediaSmart software and the current Windows Media Player do not even *recognize* the Blu-ray DVD. They play the regular "Divergent" DVD very well. But they do not even *see* the Blu-ray DVD.
I uninstalled the BDDVDRW CH20L driver, version 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255). I restarted the computer, and a new driver was installed. The new driver's version is 6.1.7601.17514. But the Blu-ray DVD is *still* not being recognized.
Now, I'm hearing that a Blu-ray lens cleaner may be required.
So, what's going on here? Did the codecs in the Codec Pack damage the Blu-ray lens? Please advise.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi, BH. Thanks for your response.
sp60287.exe seems to be for Windows 8. I have Windows 7.
But even if I got a PowerDVD version for Windows 7, I still have the issue of the Blu-ray disc not even being detected. The Blu-ray disc is in the drive, but the software (HP MediaSmart, Windows Media Player) says that there is no disc in the drive. This "no detection" issue began after I installed the codecs in the Codec Pack and tried to make Windows Media Player work with the codecs. Is there an issue with the Blu-ray lens? Or is there an issue with the Blu-ray disc itself?
I notice that the regular "Divergent" DVD has no fingerprints on it, even after I touch it. But the Blu-ray DVD has lots of fingerprints. Does the Blu-ray have some kind of weird surface? Is there some problem with the Blu-ray's surface that is causing the Blu-ray to not even be detected?
    Thanks.

I am running windows 7 home premium. My Hp Dvd-Ram Gh80n does not recognize any blu-ray dvds -these are store bought. I have tried several different dvds, & was able to play them on different devices (IE: ps3, laptop, dvd player). Device manager shows no issues or updates avail.  auto play is checked, tried a read  disc from command prompt-get a device not ready & status no media for list volume. If i put in a NON blu-ray I get the dvd info with healthy status.

  • Lost Cyber Power BLU-RAY/DVD Player Software

    Greetings,
I have a HP Pavilion G7 Notebook, with Windows 8 that has performed well until I had to refresh Windows 8 due to a lost or corrupted file on my Device Manager. Everything went well despite loosing all my Apps, with no way to replace it easly. However I lost my CyberLink Power DVD/BLU-RAY that played both my Blu-Rays & DVD's. I have been unable to recover the software that plays both my Blu-Rays & DVD's. How do I get a replacement software to reload it back into my Notebook to restore it? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it

  • Connecting Blu Ray DVD player to TV

    Hello,
I have an HDTV and we recently bought a Blu Ray DVD player. I was able to find an HDMI to DVI converter per the unit's owners manual, but could not find the audio cable(s) needed to get the unit to work. So we returned unit.
I was able to see Te video but could not hear any sound.
My question is how do I get the sound to work? What type of cable do I need?
Since our DVD player is now crazy and not working, I would like to upgrade to a blu ray DVD player. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!!

If your tv has an optical plug you could use that for the sound
    Maybe.....
Not all TV's pass audio through the optical port on the TV. Some just use the optical port on the TV for the ATSC Tuner.
But in any case what you suggest will not work for the OP. Optical ports on TV"s are optical outputs NOT inputs, and the OP is wanting to get sound from his blu-ray player to TV.

  • Blu-ray DVD shows interlacing when items move across screen

    Hi,
I have successfully made the leap from standard to HD DVD's (yay me!). Well, almost successfully. I can create a blu-ray dvd and it plays in a blu-ray player. Everything looks nice and sharp, but when text moves across the screen, I see something that looks like interlacing happening.
Here is how I made my dvds.
I worked in After Effects. The text animations I did there. Most comps are 1920x1080. I have some that are smaller and sized up, but the problem text I am seeing is within the 1920x1080 comps.
I went to Encore and did Adobe Dynamic Link, built my timeline and let Encore 'Build' the dvd image.
The blu-ray settings for transcoding within Encore were 'Automatic' based on the project files, so maybe it's something there?
    Thanks in advance.
