How do I add all my books to the icloud?

You already get unlimited storage for books in iCloud. Any books that you have purchased from the iBook Store can be downloaded again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID - even you delete them all - you can download them again.
This is what is backed up in iCloud.

Purchased music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books
Notes: Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backups of purchased movies and TV shows are U.S. only. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
Some previously purchased movies may not be available in iTunes in the Cloud. These movies will indicate that they are not available in iTunes in the Cloud on their product details page in the iTunes Store. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer available in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.

Books are not stored in iCloud. Your purchase history is stored in iCloud and you cannot remove purchases from your purchase history.

You cannot delete the iCloud account that is signed on to Find My iPhone unless you know the password. This is called the Activation Lock:
ACTIVATION LOCK
It is an anti-theft security measure that is a part of iOS 7. You can only get around this by following the steps in this support article:
Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
Contact your friend. This is the only way around the lock.

I can sort by one that are PDFs and ones currently on device, but it still gives option to show those old titles. Does anyone know how to erase your "Icloud" history, please?

Nooooooo! lol... If I want to download again I will, I don't want an electronic trail. Plus when I have Ibooks open, sometimes I will accidently hit the item and it will immediatly try to download it. The problem with that is that its "Time magazines Best Photos of 2012" etc and it locks up my IPAD cuz of sheer size of the book. So I would like it gone from the history. There are different templates for iPhoto books and they differ from version of iPhoto to iPhoto, so explore the other options.

If they are kindle books from Amazon then you should be able to re-download them from Amazon via the Cloud tab in the Kindle app - tapping a book in the Cloud tab should download it

I have an iphone that's functional & MBA's only a wordprocessor network'd to other machines & server. iclould serves NO FUNCTION on MBA. I have tried to remove it but have been unable to "log out".

Icloud is a web based service. If you are not actively using it, then it has no effect on your MBA.
