How to put equal amounts of space bw objects in Photoshop?

Hi, I realize that you can align objects in Photoshop, and that there are options to distribute horizontal and vertical centers, but how would I put an equal amount of space between objects like with the "Distribute Spacing" option in the illustrator align panel? Thanks!

Well there are other options you could try, but none are perfect really. You could spend some time and set a grid up that matches what you're looking for then align the objects with that. PS has a distribute spacing option, but it only creates equal spacing between objects based on the space you gave them. i.e. if you had 3 objects with a 3px and a 5px gap, it would make them both 4px gaps. It doesn't allow you to set actual space - that I know of.

How to put Total Amount only on the section last page?

I have been working on oracle purchasing report. I have used <?for-each@section:G_HEADERS?>. So report is paged based on new PO number. However, I have put a total amount on footer section. If the report with one specific PO number haas more than one page, for example, total page as 3, I'd like total field shows "Continued" on page 1 and 2, only list the total number on page 3. Does anyone know how to do that? The logic will be something like:
if (currentPageNum < sectionTotalPage), then 'Continued', else <?TOTALAMT?>. However, I don't know how I can get currentPageNum and how to get sectionTotalPage.

thank you for your reply, but the situatiation is the following:
I have a dynamic form with two tabels, both of them are included into two separated subforms. And because I do not know how many lines will have each of them I have no clue how to force Designer to display the footer (or any object) at the very buttom on the last page only. I already included the footer into separated subform before I asked the question, but the problem is, that the footer is not displayed at the very buttom of the page, but directly behind the second tabel (subform). So it can happen that the second tabel will end at the top of the last page, it can have only 5 lines on the last page and in this case the footer will be displayed at the top or in the middle of the last page, not at the very buttom. This is my problem.

You didn't say if your current system capability is 32- or 64-bit and how much RAM you have. If you have fewer than 4 GB RAM you should get a quick boost by increasing it to 4 GB. As others have written, you'll need 64-bit system to increase usable RAM to ore then 4G. If you need to work within 4GB you may find some tips in Jeff Tranberry's "How to tune Photoshop CS6 for peak performance"

How to put a value into the Gauge object

I would like to use the DS_1.getData() command to retrieve data from a query
and place it into a gauge (standard object in DS). What I understand is that
the getData command retrieves a float value and the gauge object expects an integer
value. I didn’t find a float to integer conversion so I tried a work around. It
looked something like this but it did not work:
GAUGE_1.setValue(Convert.stringToInt(Convert.floatToString(DS_1.getData("CKXYNLFBDHH0X2U91711DX83S",
{"ZQMSITEPD":'S999'}).value)));
The value from the float to string conversion holds the decimals like 49,937 and this creates an error in the conversion from
string to int.
Does anyone have an example on how to get data from a DS into a gauge?

HI Erik, have you tried to use the Convert object?
float can be converted to string with argument "###", this will round all numbers after colon.
eg.
var fullNumber = Convert.floatToString(55.83, "###");
var numberInt = Convert.stringToInt(fullNumber);
APPLICATION.createInfoMessage("Value " + numberInt);
fullNumber = Convert.floatToString(55.23, "###");
numberInt = Convert.stringToInt(fullNumber);
APPLICATION.createInfoMessage("Value " + numberInt);

How to put a space (not tab) in the beggining of a line on Dreamweaver?

I'm editing a site using photoshop and dreamweaver, the problem is that photoshop does'nt paste formatted text so I had to appeal to Dreaweaver. The problem is that when I paste my word text (paste especial - full formatting) all the format stuff is right, but the beggining of the some lines (which have some spaces in word) doesn't have spaces in Dreamweaver. How can I do that? I'm asking that because I know you can tab the line, but the tab size is too large for me, is there any way to get it lower? And there's a way of don't put new lines on or under the tabbed text (Dreamweaver does that)?

In the Code view use:

exactly as it is written above. It will put a NonBreakingSPace (NBSP) into the text. Each "<code> </code> " that you put equals one letter space depending on which font you use. It is the same as placing multiple spaces with the spacebar when you use it multiple times.

Is there any way to increase the amount of space for all day events?

I have iCal on my ipad and my phone, and when I look at the daily view or weekly view, only 1 1/2 lines are shown. If I have a few events that are all day (I keep several calendars) then I have to scroll through them one at a time. And with my fingers, sometimes they go by too fast. Does anyone know how to increase the amount of space? I am using an iPad3, and an iPhone 5, both with ios 7.

With Mac OS X, there is no way for you to alter the amount of real memory a program is allocated. This is all done dynamically by the OS. OS X's virtual memory management is far better than 'ole OS 9's.
What are saying about a memory leak? I take it that Safari is continually using more and more memory. How much memory is it usually taking up after a few hours? Perhaps you should just quit and restart Safari every few hours before it begins failing to respond.

How can I limit the amount of space on a Time Capsule used by Time Machine?

I know that you cannot partition a Time Capsule drive. However, I was wondering about other options for limiting the amount of space used by Time Machine so that I can use the rest of the space for other purposes.
I heard something about creating a disk image on the Time Capsule to limit the amount of space used by Time Machine. If I create a disk image, would TM just use all the space that's not part of the disk image? How do I access the disk image part? Can I manually drag and drop files to it from my Mac like any other external drive? Could I set up the disk image part to work with a Windows computer?
I've also heard things about modifying sparsebundles which I don't know anything about. How does this work? What happens to the space that is not part of the TM sparsebundle? How do I access it? Can I manually drag and drop files to it from my Mac like any other external drive? Could I set up the extra space to work with a Windows computer?

Some other things to make note of:
Some disk image formats have a maximum size and only use that size after they have had to expand to actually hold that much data. Make sure you are not using this type of image so you can guarantee the space is reserved. Sparse bundles are like this. I haven't read up on the sparse bundle trick, but I assume it's something to do with setting a maximum size for it.
When you open up the Time Capsule disk, you will first be looking at the normal storage space. When you create an image, there will be a file you click on that mounts another drive that uses space on the Time Capsule. This shows up as just one file unless you open it to see it's contents.

It is quite common for the program size listings to be wrong. To check the actual size of the Firefox installation, you can manually check the size of the Firefox [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory installation directory]. It is is typically around 26-30Mb, and the default location on 32 bit Windows is C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
There are also a couple of other locations where Firefox stores data, check the size of the following folders as well.
Firefox also stores user data such as bookmarks and passwords in the [[profiles|profile folder]]. It should be inside this folder C:\Users\''username''\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
Firefox stores temporary files in the cache. To find the location of the cache, type '''about:cache''' into the location bar. It should be inside this folder C:\Users\''username''\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
The last 2 folders are normally hidden, you may need to set Vista to [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial130.html show hidden files and folders].
