How to put folders in contacts

Hi how do i put folders in my contacts, i have a works phone and would like to keep my work contacts and my social contacts separate how do i do this?

This is not a feature of iOS.
Use seperate contact accounts for personal and business contacts.
For example:
Business contacts sync with company email address.
Personal contacts sync via iCloud to Apple ID or another email account.
Then in the Contacts app, only display contacts for the appropriate account.

You don't since doing so is not an available option, which is extremely limited to the name, a couple of phone numbers and maybe an email address.

Create a parent folder on your computer to store the named folders of photos that you want transferred to your iPhone. Under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, select the parent folder. All named folders of photos within will be transferred to your iPhone as separate folders or albums.
Regarding your 2nd question, this should be easy. Your contacts should be available on your computer with or without an iPhone or any cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
Although contacts are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, not a good idea to depend on this either since the iPhone backup includes a significant amount of other data. Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer. With Windoze, this can be with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express with XP and by Windows Mail with Vista and Windows 7 called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.

Well, you can go into setting>mail, contacts, calendars>add new account or through iTunes you can plug your phone into your computer, open iTunes, select your device, then select info. I hope this helps. Au revoir!

How to put my podcasts into playlist folders? Can't drag'em.

How to put my podcasts into playlist folders? Can't drag'em.
I've subscribed to a number of podcasts & they appear in my iTunes window under the Podcasts section.
There i have
2 problems:
1st: I can't rearrange or group them so can listen consecutively to different topics.
I must listen to one, then come to the keyboard and select the next to start playing. Now, I know that I can get them to play consecutively once I've placed them into Playlist folders,
but that brings me to my second problem:
2) I can't drag and drop them into separate iTunes FOLDERS (by topics).
(Though I have been able to drag&drop separate items from my 'Music' section into iTunes playlist folders.)
But can't drag from Podcasts section into Playlists,
as everytime I try they just refuse to go in and scurry back to their starting position under Podcasts.
Zupwidiss? This can't be.
I would be grateful for your solution.
And also grateful if I could have easily found the solution explained
before I had to resort to bothering this forum with this question.

You have reminded of the
difference between
Playlists and Playlist Folders:
One can only drag things from the Master list into PLAYLISTS.
And can only drag Playlists into Playlist Folders.
I'm an older man, and easily confused by these things.

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

How do I restore my contacts, messages and folders from a back-up drive?

I had to replace my main C: drive. My old Thunderbird install is on another internal drive. I have installed Thunderbird on the new drive. I can access all the files on the back-up drive. But how do I do a restore of my mail, mail folders and contact list? How do I locate the necessary files?
I desperatly need my old folders for some software infoamtion.
Any help would be greatkly appreciated.

Mission accomplished. While waiting for your reply,. I found an article that mentioned a copy/paste of the following code from the old pref.js to the new pref.js:

open your address book get the picture you want to put on a particular contact and drag it to your desktop. On your contact page, click edit, drag the picture you want and drag it to the photo area and drop it (should be a green+) click set, click edit done. Hope this helps
