In itunes - music do you see checkmarks next to your musis/songs. IF so go find your new songs click on it and then sync your music again. -

When you look at your iPhone, are you looking in the Music app or in the iTunes app? Be sure you are looking in the Music app, and look in the Songs category. If your songs are not here, you may want to try syncing your information again through iTunes. To do this, uncheck "Sync Music" and then click apply or sync in the bottom right corner of iTunes, and then recheck "Sync Music" and then click apply or sync again.

If you're talking about music and movies an i-device was not designed for unique storage of media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing music and movies is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred from a device to a computer.

I recently purchased a movie (Prometheus) on my computer through iTunes and every time I try to put it on my iPhone, it fails. How can I successfully sync this video? Mind you, every other file syncs flawlessly.
Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -
sorry this might be a very basic question, but i jsut cant figure out how to put a pciture on my photo. just dragging from an outside window into itunes iphone area won't work. i have a jpg and it says this type of media cannot be played on the device. i want to use this picture as a background but jsut cant put it on the device. i think with iphoto i might be able to, but i don't have iphoto, only the default apps that came with mac mini (and for some reason i thoguht i was supposed to get iphoto with ilife but i dont have it).
with your iphone connected to your computer, select the iphone under "devices". you should see a "photos" tab, and from there, you can designate a folder you want to sync with the phone. probably easiest to creat a new folder, and point to that one. place the photos you want in that folder, and sync!

I just purchased an Apple TV. I have a pc running windows 7. It is connected to a router and the router is connected to a wireless router. I connect my iPhone, iPad and apple tv to wireless network but do not know how to put the pc on the wifi network so the Apple TV can do home share.
I don't mean to be facetious but sometimes the simplest things are overlooked. To connect to your library you have to have the computer where the iTunes library is located running and with iTunes open. It also needs to be on the same network. My network is dual band and works with either stream but a friend of mine does not. He has to set the computer and the Apple TV to the same band. Hope this helps.

Press Shift, Option, or Option-Shift to highlight the available accent marks in the Keyboard Viewer.The accent mark keys are highlighted. Depending on your keyboard, you may not need to press any of the modifier keys to see the accent keys.
Place the insertion point in your document where you want to type.
Press the modifier key you pressed in step 2 (Shift, Option, Option-Shift, or none) and then press the key on your keyboard that is in the same place as the accent you see in the Keyboard Viewer.
Release the modifier key, and then press the key for the character you want to accent.For example, on a U.S. keyboard, to make é appear, press Option and E (the accent key), and then press E (the letter on which you want that accent to appear). -

Get yourself an anti-static cleaning cloth (one may come with your protector, or you can buy/find one in the electronics section at a store), and a wallet sized card like a Driver's License, etc.
Thoroughly clean the screen with the cloth, and start with one end of the screen protector, either side is your choice. Work top to bottom. Make sure you line it up correctly. Then SLOWLY work the card up/down the screen protector until you are satisfied. Some air bubbles can be removed with the card, if any debris is stuck between the phone and the screen, start over and clean the "sticky" side of the protector with some clear tape. -
