How to put one photo into multiple events

I want a single photo to appear in more than one event. For example, I would like to be able to create one large event, (lets say for an entire trip), but also create individual events for each day of the trip. I cannot figure out how to get a photo to show up in more than one event.

Duplicate the picture is the only way to do this with Events. Events are a very crude way of organising. They reflect exactly the folders in the iPhoto Library on the HD.
Albums, on the other hand, are much, much more flexible. A pic can be in many, many albums and use no extra disk space whatever. So can create an Album for the trip, plus one per day. Just drag the photos to the to albums.
But even easier: Create a Folder - (File -> New Folder) and name for the Trip. Then a Smart Album based on date. So File -> New Smart Album: Date -> is -> Whatever. Then drag the Smart Album to the Folder. Repeat for as many days as you need. Click on the Folder, see them all. Click on an Album within the Folder for a specific day.

Make an album, drag the pics to that Album and use that for purchase.

I got a task to add one infocube into many(10) multiproviders. As per my knowledge,I have to add it manually by going through each and every multiprovider. Like this i have to do it for around 15 Infocubes and it's really time killing activity.
Request you to help me out, is there any easier way to achieve this.

You have to add each Infocube manually....Because after adding you have to assign Chars and KFs in the Multiprovider to the Particular Infoproviders...So you have to do this Task Manually only...There is no such one go process.....

Does anyone know how to do a simple photo morph in Flash CS4? I have image 1 on keyframe 1, and image 2 on keyframe 25, but aren't sure what kind of tween is required or what to do with the tween.

You probably won't get what you expect (image morphing is not 'simple'), but... What you need to do is select each image on the stage and choose Modify -> Bitmap -> Trace Bitmap. The smaller you set the value in the panel that appears, to higher the image quality when it's done. Then you select the first and choose Insert -> Create Shape Tween.

How do I split a single event with many clips into multiples events, one event per date?

I archived the video from my AVCHD camera into a Final Cut video archive. Later I imported this into iMovie. All the clips from this archive (spanning several months) are dumped into a single event. If I recall, older versions of iMovie would import video into separate events for each day. Then I would go through and give each event a meaningful name (e.g., "Mary's Birthday").
This is what I would like. Is there a way to split this very long event into multiple events, one for each day that is present in the event?

Not automatically but with imovie 10 you can create new events with any name you like then move clips into them from other events (Just like FCP 10.1). See:

You can also choose to display clips in an event grouped by date.

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

How can I move part of one photo into another photo?

In older versions of Photoshop you could see two or more frames in the work area and cut an paste parts of one photo into another photo by using the "move" tool after the area to be moved was selected. I am having trouble discerning how to achieve this action in CC. Could someone in the forum with this experience give me some steps to take to complete this process? Thanks.

This is another solution. Suppose your actual table's name is test(which has the redundant data). create a table like this:

If you have a huge amount of data in your original table this solution may take a long time to do what you need.

For example, I have a signal generator and four UUTs.
Signal Pattern 1 ON -> batch(4 UUT test...) -> Signal Pattern 1 OFF, Signal Pattern 2 ON -> Batch(4 UUT test...) ...so on...
I got stuck how to put the action into the teststand and do once instead of 4 times.
Something similar to the callback of ProcessSetup, PreBatch, and PreUUTLoop,
but I wonder if there is a way to call an action once within multiple UUTs in the MainSequence.
Could someone give me some suggestion? Thanks a lot!

Hey William,
You're probably going to want to use the "One Thread Only" option of a batch synchronization section to do this. It sounds like you're already using the Batch process model, so this should be fairly easy to implement. If it's a single step, you can go to the Synchronization tab of the step settings and change the Batch Synchronization setting. If it's multiple steps in a row, you could use the Enter Synchronized Section and Exit Synchronized Section modes of the Batch Synchronization step type.
Also, we have an example that demonstrates this functionality. You can find it at <TestStand>\Examples\MultiUUT\BatchUUT.seq. If you look at the Set Chamber Temperature step, you will see that it is configured in this way.

Events are organisation for those who can't really be bothered. They are automatic - based entirely on Date and Time the camera records the photos as taken.
You can move photos between Events, you can Merge Events, you can Rename them and sort them in various ways except one: You cannot manually sort in an Event as Events are all automated.
If you want to manually sort in an Event then you've outgrown Events as an organising tool. Now it's time to look at albums (Where you can manually sort) which are much more flexible than Events as an organising tool.
