just create a new query like a previous versions how u create.. and now select particular charecterstic in the left side window itself.. and drill down it.. and create a variable.. and assign all the properties to that variable.. now drag that particular variable.. in to the Rows or filters..
for Restrictions... put any charecterstics into Free charecterstics.. and right clcik that and select Restriction. now you need to give the values.. based on that it will RESTRICT THE VALUES..

Thanks for your suggestion..
I tried using the "Services for Object" option and i was able to upload a document. But when i try to view the document in PO display ME23N, by clicking the Icon as you mentioned the attached document is not displayed.
Only when i go in Change mode ME22N and select "Service for Object" i get the documents displayed. What is the way to get the document displayed ?

This started happening to me on my iPhone 4. Some text messages show only the numer they came from and those same numbers do not show the contact name in my calls list, even though the contacts are saved and synced via iCloud. I have tried to save different versions of the number in the same contact, but it won't work. If I call one of the recent numbers though, the conact comes up. I have tried reseting and restoring to no avail.

How to put a variable column value in a "vlookup"

I am trying to put a variably chosen column value in a "vlookup" function.
Logically this should work, but it does not, and I cannot figger out why.:
"=vloookup("a", B5:Z28, {=MATCH(4, B4:Z4, 0)})" (replaced brackets with {} for this post)
I am trying to look up the letter "a" in whatever column matches the "match" criteria.
The match is matching a specific value of 4 from row B. (This value varies based on other input)
The vlookup is for finding the letter "a" the whole table in whatever column is returned by the MATCH formula.
How can I do this?
(Like I said the formula above is logically correct, but numbers returns a syntax error.)

Next get rid of the brackets you referred to; unnecessary. If that doesn't do it, calculate the column number in an auxiliary column and refer to that column in your expression.

APEX 3.0 PDF FOP OC4J REPORT: how to put a variable in the header or footer

hello.
I want to put a variable ( like :P15_MY_PARAMETER) in the header OR footer of a standard PDF report , but does'nt work.
I tried HTML formating with ' &P15_MY_PARAMETER. ' like described in the thread Include a display value in HTML footer ( Include a display value in HTML footer )
but PDF generated is not readeable by Adobe, , I suppose html codin was not translated.
Is it a possibility to put a variable in a PDF header / footer.?

If you want to use the value of page items in your PDF page header or footer, they need to be written to session state first. In order to do this, your form needs to be submitted. So a button that redirects to a URL or a report print links (that also redirects), won't do that. But submitting your form doesn't necessarily mean you'll have to leave or refresh your current page. All you would have to do is create a branch that points to your PDF document, and make that the target of your submit action. This way, your page doesn't refresh, and you'll get the open/save PDF dialog you would expect.
So to give you an example, if you have a regular reports region, enable PDF printing, but do not specify a link label. Then create your own print button, which needs to be a submit button (not redirect to URL). And then create a branch to the current page that is executed when pressing your print button. That branch also needs this request:
FLOW_XMLP_OUTPUT_R[Report Region ID]
so if your report region ID is 90104803966374878, then the request would be:
FLOW_XMLP_OUTPUT_R90104803966374878
The same technique works for report queries, only in that case you would point to page 0 and use this request:
PRINT_REPORT=[your report query name]
So if your report query name is "myreport", this would be
PRINT_REPORT=myreport

Following Logic can be use:
1. Validate the company code (BUKRS ) & Purchasing document type (BSTYP = F) from EKKO table for the Purchase order number (EBELN).
2. Check the entries for the Purchase order and the item number in the Purchase order history table ( EKBE) and also Validate if there is any down payment document exists (VGABE = 4)
3. If we find down payment doc in EKBE table then display the warning or error message as POP - UP by using functional module POPUP_TO_CONFIRM.
Step 1: Validate Company code and Purchasing Document type from EKKO table
Step 2: Check the Purchasing document history from EKBE table
Step 3: Check whether any down payment exists.
Step 4: Display popup message to user:
Use the function module u201CPOPUP_TO_CONFIRMu201D to display the below message u201CPo cannot be changed, Down payment already exists for this PO item u201D.

Hi,
In accordance with the above responses provided by the experts, BPC MS doesnt support transports. The MS version doesnt have the lifecycle management.
At the initial phase, when the application set needs to be migrated to the production system, you can take a backup in the dev system and manually copy the backup files to the production system and then restore them using the BPC manager.
At the later stages, if you want to transfer few of the changes, taking backup once again might be troublesome, because in that case, the transactional data in the production system will be overwritten by the backup. In this case, you need to follow a different approach.
Few of the objects like the member sheet, script logics, reports, etc are stored in the webfolder. These can be directly copied to the production box. Apart from these, the BPF related stuffs, work status, etc are not stored in the webfolder. These are stored in the tables. So, either you need to make these adjustments explicitly in the production box or you can export and import these tables in the production.

we want to create a simple reposting function (using BADI since no standard :-s ). Issue we have is that the category should be selected as a variable. By default system shows value <ALL> resulting in creating repostings for all versions ...
-> how can we define a restriction that one can only enter one single value for example for a category, or at least that the system does not show the <ALL> by default but another, perhaps non-existing, value? I don't think this is possible with the UI scripting of the data package .. If this is not possible, I would need to check whether we can restrict in the BADI itself. I'm not sure whether an error message can be triggered from the BADI, so the user can see somehow he forgot to enter a selection for the cateogry dimension...

A couple points to say about your post...
1) When you mention there is no standard function for a simple repost and you have to use a BAdI... did you consider using the MOVE package from Data Manager? Or perhaps even script logic with *REC statement?
2) It should be possible to prompt the user for the category using the dynamic script feature of DataManager. You'd have something like...

I want to know how to refer an XSD schema based variable's element and assign it to some other variable at runtime. I mean how can i put the 'To' element's name in assign-activity at run-time?
Suppose i am having a variable "varInput_PastDuedata" which as below expansion:-

expression to "varTempResult" variable. But what if i define the element name in run-time which is to be assigned to "varTempResult" then how to do it?
I tried below steps but failed:-

I am not sure what you are looking, as far as what I understood from your question is setting up the values dynamically.
For setting up the values dynamically you can use getPreference() inside assign activity. You can define the values directly inside the console. The following link might help you

How to put path variables into a jar?

I'm writing a Java prg, that needs some path variables for the JVM. I used to
pass them over to the JVM each time at start up. Since this solution seems
to me slightly complex I wonder if there's no other solution like e.g. placing
them into a .jar's manifest so that the jar has them already - might this be
possible?

I thought about writing an installer or just using one of the already existing installer projects, to set up those paths in the manifest of the jar directly each time it get installed - the problem is I need these absolute paths, since the prg depends on some another prg, which could be situated on a different position depending on the system and installation...
Thus I'd like to know, is it possible to set path variables in a manifest's jar at all?

I don't think Apple has ever stated the iPad as a '1 person' device. In fact in many instances it is shared between multiple users.
Also if the device is stollen that password data could cause far greater loss than the cost of the device itself especially if there are banking logins saved there. You could say hey just don't save them but it's very easy to accidentally save a login and it's not exactly intuitive to remove the data. Just the other day I had to help my Dad delete his banking details from autofill.

Sorry, that Wi-Fire didn't solve the problem. The issue, most likely, is Wi-Fi interference due to building construction material between the 7th & 9th floors. I would know of only two other options: 1) Run Ethernet between the floors, or 2) Employ Powerline adapters which take advantage of the building's AC circuit.
For the second option, you would need a minimum of two adapter, one for near the router on the 9th floor and the second near your computer on the 7th. An Ethernet patch cord would then be connected between the 9th floor router and the first adapter, and a second patch cable connected between the second adapter & your computer.

I'm trying to track all the statuses of a sales order. I want to get the header status, lines status, holds status, shipping status and the invoiced status.
Does anyone knows if there is an API for that? Or I'll have to make lots of querys for that?
I found out the following APIs, but it only returned me Y or N:

You can find the status of both SO Headers ahd Lines from the FLOW_STATUS_CODE column in oe_order_headers_all and oe_order_lines_all tables.
