How to put site under maintenance
I am about to apply a new template to a site and will need to make it unaccessible for a little while. I need to change the styles & layout on the cart and checkout pages and didn't find an easy way to make changes without affecting the current site. What's the best way to put a site under maintenance?
I was thinking of making a page that says 'site under maintenance, back soon' kind of thing and set it as the homepage, but if someone bookmarked a page, it would still show up, so I guess I need a better strategy. Creating redirects for every single page is not optimal either, it would probably take longer to do that than applying the style changes. Unless there is a way to create a 'catch all' redirect?
Any suggestions much appreciated.
As snarzom12 suggested, I recommend creating a new page and apply it as the start page which informs the customer that the site is under maintenance. Then create a JS/HTML redirect within the templates associated with this site and point it to your start page.

I'm using Notebook style for my website and wanting to put Sitemeter or Statcounter on the footer of my first Welcome page and it's all like a graph border thing. So I followed the instructions of how to do it with Sitemeter, use a text box and then type some code in and paste. Then I tried to do it with Statcounter and had a phrase where I wanted it to go on the footer.
I'm using Transmit FTP and you can edit the HTML before you publish and I the copy paste for the code. When I go to publish it to my website all I see is the HTML code come up and not the counter at all. What am I doing wrong?

I haven't tried this yet but I think I know what the problem is, I was doing the edit in Transmit FTP before I publish to my server instead of after and I'm guessing that is why it didn't work.
Right now I'm focused on getting my pages down with photos and text and it's a big job since I have a lot of products.

How do I retrieve the tone panel in Lightroom 5 ( with the sliders for exposure, contrast, vibrancy etc which sits under the icons for cropping, red eye etc)?
On a PC, right-click (Mac Cmd-click) on one of the other panel headings such as Tone Curve, Detail, etc. In the context menu that displays, make sure there is a checkmark in Basic. Another quick way to do it is Ctrl->1 or Cmd->1.

I purchased 3 ringtones in Itunes. It put one under ringtones and the others listed under music icon as recently purchased. How do I get them under ringtones?
Tones is the new name for Ringtones. If the entry is missing in the left-hand column of iTunes then enable it from Edit > Preferences > General tab.
If your existing tones are not syncing properly to your iOS device then uncheck the option to Sync Tones from the Tones tab when the device is connected, sync the device, check the option and sync again.

I need to know how to put a photo in a box with text under it, so they move together in a page of text.
The Acrobat SDK might be a starting point.
From there, perhaps a plug-in (built with C+).
Perhaps with a licensed release of a PDF Library (this could be $$).
The viable and cost effective alternative is use the tried and true.
Authoring in an appropriate authoring application with appropriate tag management.
Example: Adobe InDesign; Adobe FrameMaker or MS Word with PDFMaker (comes with install of Acrobat).
This way you place "Alternative Text" when mastering content in the authoring file.
Going the route and with some look-see (research) you may find programmatic approaches to placing the alt txt in the authoring file.
Note: as discussed in the Matterhorn Protocols there is no programmatic method that provides a fully accessible PDF (specifically, that is an ISO 14289-1, PDF/UA-1 compliant PDF).
Regardless, here you have a sub-forum for discussions on Acrobat usage.
Consequently discussions on/of 3rd party software is rather out of scope eh.

If you mean server draining feature you can also check Topology option on Lync Server Control Panel, on Topology interface, click “Action” and there is an action called “Prevent new sessions for service”.

How to put "Issue Tracking" Demo HTML DB application in my development site
I have set up Oracle 10g DB and HTML DB 1.5 on my Windows/XP machine.
I also downloaded issue_tracker-3rd demo to my machine.
I am new to HTML DB.
Can someone tell me how to put issue_tracker into my HTML DB environment and test running it?

If you unzip the issue tracker zip file you will find it has a readme.txt file in it.
You should just follow the directions in this file and you'll have the demo working in no time.

under the menu bar you will have your own menu items.
where ever you want separator line do the following way.
you will have 2 columns under menu bar
1) code
2) text.
under code dont put anything.
but under text column you put dashes and enter or select right click there and choose separator line.
you will get separator line.
activate and run the ztcode.you will get .

First off, I'm a Newbie to Dreamweaver. So. I'm in a real
learning phase.
I can't figure out how to "Put" my development file to my web
Server. I have an ftp connection. At least I think I do since I
have file list that seems to be pointing to the files I have on
webserver. I manually copied my files from my development folder to
my web server. Now I want to use Dreamweaver to put my files and
then I want to have Dreamweaver manage my file so that next time I
one have to upload my "Changed" files. I searched Dreamweaver Help
and didn't understand what I read. Sorry..
Appreciate any help you can give me, or point me to somewhere
on the web that my a step by step procedure.

For Exam My requirement is I am getting BAPI from ECC System. So I have to go given input details in first view and output details in SecondView. So in Second View I will taken Table that data will displayed in rows. I need each and every row first I need check box.
Here Select Check Box of particular row then click GetData button. That row data will be displayed in one popup window.
In table suppose 6 rows available in table. Every Row first Check box available.

When we are getting BAPI From ECC System. that BAPI Have nodes and Attribues...in under node we can't create "CheckBox"
attribute.
So i am doing like this.I am create on Checbox attribue out side of Node. Check Box data type is boolean.
next i am creating table ( that table having rows and columns) Right click on table-->Click on Insert GroupedColumn->again right click on nsert GroupedColumn---> Here Select Check Box.
Okay...here i am getting one problem. i have got Check boxes .But i am select check box in first row. that time all check boxes will be selected.
i need select first row check box that only first row will be selected suppose i selected second row check box that only second will be selected.

sorry this might be a very basic question, but i jsut cant figure out how to put a pciture on my photo. just dragging from an outside window into itunes iphone area won't work. i have a jpg and it says this type of media cannot be played on the device. i want to use this picture as a background but jsut cant put it on the device. i think with iphoto i might be able to, but i don't have iphoto, only the default apps that came with mac mini (and for some reason i thoguht i was supposed to get iphoto with ilife but i dont have it).
with your iphone connected to your computer, select the iphone under "devices". you should see a "photos" tab, and from there, you can designate a folder you want to sync with the phone. probably easiest to creat a new folder, and point to that one. place the photos you want in that folder, and sync!
