    Hi Mohan
    In MM we raise credit memo to debit vendor account for wrong supply or faulty supply etc.
    Which will debit vendors account by amount entered in Credit memo
    Steps are as follows
    Trnx Code MIRO
    Enter invoice date
    Select Credit memo from Transaction dropdown
    Give PO number in PO reference
    Enter Amount and Qty for credit memo
    Select tax code if required
    Rest same like miro
    Save MIRO
    system will pass credit memo of given amount
    which in turn create -ve entry in vendor payble amount i.e. vendor will be debited

  • How can I set up printing to queues on a Windows 2008 server directly from the iPad apps and not from third-party applications without using AppleTalk or Bonjour?

    We have a Windows 2003/2008 server-based network with a dedicated print server which we would like to be able to print to over Wi-Fi.  How can I set up the printers on the iPad without downloading a third party application such as Print Central or Print N Share?  I want to just click the arrow and "Print" then choose the printer, which doesnt show up.  I want to be able to use the existing TCP/IP-based network that we have to reach these queues, not having to install Bonjour or AppleTalk to reach them.
    Thanks,

    This would really be the "Holy Grail"   right now.  I think this a feature that every large organization requires. AirPrint works on a small scale, but is not really an enterprise class application.  In addition it uses the Bonjour discovery process which is difficult in a large LAN WAN environment.  For those that would remind me, I am aware of the enhancement link

    Hi,
    It depends on the Item category as mentioned and as well as controlled by the resultant sched line category. Go into the item details, sched line screen and if you scroll to the right of the confirmed sched. line, you can see a Purcahse Requisition no. This also means that the next activity is carried out for sourcing the item.
    Hope, this helps!

    Just posted on this in another thread I am watching. As far as I know, and every other post I have seen on this topic, there is no way to do this without using a custom classloader that is used by the executing .jar itself to load any .jar files. How I can see this work is the main class is nothing more than a "classloader" launcher. It creates a new instance of this custom classloader. It then opens "itself" (the .jar the main class and all the .jar's are in), reads the manifest file to locate the .jar files the application requires, then either loads them, or somehow is able to reference them without directly loading them. The URLClassLoader is a good one to extend for this. It already opens up any .jar file specified in its path when being created, scanning for any files in there. Basically, you need to "extend" this functionality to scan any .jar's in the .jar, and so on. So, the launcher may be like so:
    public void main (String[] args)
    JarClassLoader jcl = new JarClassLoader(this.getClass().getClassLoader());
    jcl.launchApp(this);
    the jcl.launchApp would be a method that tells the classloader to use THIS class, its "root" dir, to locate the .jar file to open and scan for more jar files. Each time it comes across a .jar file in the .jar, it opens it and scans it as well.
    Keep in mind, when the URLClassLoader contains one or more .jar files, when a class it loaded references a class that is not found in the that classloaders parent loader classpath, it then starts looking in the .jar files in the URL[] path specified to it. It looks at all classes in the .jar files, but it does NOT look in nested .jar files in the .jar file. Basically, you could take the source code of the URLClassLoader, and add the ability to open up any .jar files nested in each .jar file as needed to resolve a class. I would imagine this could take some time at runtime, probably a second or two on slower machines for a single typecast. However, that would be dependent on the number of nested .jar files, the number of .jar's in the classpath of the classloader. I think I may undertake this task when I have time. I gotta finish my plugin engine first, then I may undertake this classloader. I am pretty sure that is the proper approach to take. However, because it is not part of the JVM .jar execution mechanism, a special bit of coding will be required, such as what I posted above. The main class in the .jar file will have to create this classloader and tell it to "execute" the program, passing to it another main class, specifying the location of the .jar file the main class is in, etc. Hell, you could almost bypass the java -jar app.jar and just do a java Classname where by the class and the .jar are bundled together, although this wouldn't be as nice. The reason this might be better is that then you wouldn't have to do any special coding in the .jar main class. I suppose though, by providing the "launcher" class and having a developer just extend it as part of their main class could also work.

  • How to handle the cost in third party process

    Hi experts,
    As the request, my client has some trading goods. the customer buy them from my client. but there is no stock in my client. for this transaction, my client send PO to the vendor and the vendor delivers the products to the customer directly. After my client recieve the shipping notification, they create the invoice to end customer. So i want to use the Third-Party Function.
    But i have a confuse. How dose sap process the cost of trading goods(HAWA) in standard? you know, there is no stock for the trading goods, how to get the condition value of cost(VPRS)? Is there any special setting for the trading goods master data or some parameters in other place?
    can anyone give some supports? Thank you very much.

    Hi Dave,
    You can capture vendor price in billing document as a cost.
    Check the following settings.
    1) select the determine cost field in third party item category.
    2)  Billing relevance F
    3) check the VPRS condition type in pricing procedure. It will come after total amount.
    VPRS   statistical
    Subtotal = B
    Requirement = 4
    Now create a sales order with third party material and maintain price E.g  500 USD
    system will take VPRS value from material master in sales order level. E.g 300 USD. ( In billing level only system copies vendor price as a cost )
    Do the following transactions after sales order.
    Create a purchase order ME21N  with reference to PR( take the PR number from Sales order)
    In purchase order maintain price in item conditions tab E.g 320 USD.
    Goods receipt   MIGO
    Vendor invoice  MIRO
    Now create a Billing document with reference to sales order number.
    Here system takes VPRS cost 320 USD(PO price) instead of 300 USD which we maintained in Material master.

    Chandra

  • Notes on third-party apps closing (not really crashing) after a restore

    Hello,
    I'm adding the umpteenth message about a problem that, after happening basically with each single iPhone change since my old iPhone 3G onwards, I would say it's pretty common.
    I have solved this problem recently with a third sequence of actions, so I'm posting my brief "history of restores" for the benefit of others. I hope I've tagged this post eloquently enough to make it easy to find.
    So, in most (if not all) cases of previous restores I've bumped in the classic issue where after the restore process (which, BTW, involves always a few more sudden phone restarts than expected) only the "native" iPhone apps run normally. All the others appear for an instant and then close. They don't really crash because both in iOS 6 and iOS 7 you can see them as "running" by double-tapping the iPhone front button. Moreover, those with active notifications will actually notify the user regularly. Their UI, though, doesn't go past the splash screen.
    The underlying cause, also considering it relates only to apps downloaded via App Store, is presumably some DRM-related information that gets messed up during the restore process.
    My personal experience included previously two distinct solutions, and each of those only worked in that occasion, i.e. has been useless in the other cases:
    The oldest, and still most documented solution, was just to download, via iPhone, a new app from the app store. After a restart, or maybe even without one, the new app and all the others started working.
    The second, less mentioned online but still pretty widespread, was to sign out from the Apple Store on the iPhone, and then sign back in.
    This time, where I got a replacement for my iPhone 4s because of the common problem of the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip getting "burned" or dislodged, I tried both the solutions above but they didn't work. In the process, I've found other possible solutions that didn't work:
    Deauthorizing iTunes on the Mac and then reauthorizing it.
    Getting a new app via iTunes and then syncing the iPhone
    Sign out/in with iCloud on the iPhone.
    I was therefore close to abandoning my 877 apps already configured and organized in folders in the previous backups, and willing to accept the burden of setting up the iPhone as a new phone.
    Nevertheless, I still hoped that a "mixed approach" would work and, indeed, it worked.
    Here is the sequence that worked in my latest case:
    Restore the iPhone as a new phone
    Open the App Store on the iPhone and get a new app, not among those already downloaded previously
    Open that app and see that it works (actually, after an iPhone replacement steps 1-3 would make sense anyway to check that the phone works properly)
    Start a restore from a previous backup
    As soon as the apps start syncing again, open the first app already sync'd and check that it works. It should work, that's what happened to me, and so you can wait the whole time required to sync back all the apps.
    My experience involves also a falsification of the statement that the problem resides on individual backups. This is false because I've used the same backup, at step 4, that I selected before going through 1-3 and that was not working initially. Moreover, after step 5, I've realized that the old backup I had used was too old because yesterday evening, while I had my iPhone still misbehaving with third-party apps, I took a few pictures that would have gone lost using the old backup. I have then started again from step 4 with a backup from the night after the pics, when I was fiddling to fix my issues. Also the newer backup, clearly done while the apps where "bad", ended with all my apps working again.
    Basically, once the "physical" phone runs third-party apps, than any backup would work. The (missing) authorization portion that causes the misbehaviour might be related to the phone IMEI, or some other piece of information that is not included in backups.
    Does anyone know a specific thread here or blog post on some website where there is a collection of cases like mine?
    I'm not looking forward to seeing what voodoo variation will be required the next time I replace my iPhone...
    Hope this helps.
    All the best,
    Giovanni

  • How to publish pages made in third party software

    On my "homepage" websites I can upload html pages created by third party software (Adobe GoLive CS2 in my case) onto my .Mac sites.
    I can't find anything in iWeb about publishing custom-made webpages in iWeb and/or on the iWeb. Is this possible with iWeb? Or do I have to stick with the old way of doing things (creating new .Mac sites online and uploading my custom pages there)?

    Well, I half-answered my own question here. I went into my iDisk folder, went to Web, Sites, iWeb, then chose the site I had created and put my own custom-built html page there. It uploaded automatically and now I can access it via the web without a problem. It shows up the way it's supposed to look as well.
    So basically I can load them up, but there's not a way for me to fully integrate them with the other iWeb pages on that site. My custom page does not appear in the iWeb application under the site name, I can't add web counters to it, etc...
