Please let me know the answer for the above question. awaiting for response.

- Open Library Settings of your Picture Library.
- Under General Settings > Click Rating Settings.
- Click 'Yes' on Allow items in this list to be rated?
This will enable ratings in your Picture library. This feature is available for other list and libraries as well by performing the similar steps above.
Click on any image in your picture library and you will see Ratings field being displayed under the image where you can rate it.

Here's the way my SG3 works. I plug it into a USB port on my computer. On my phone in the notification area is a USB icon. If I pull it down and touch "Connected as ...." I get two options MTP and PTP. Choose MTP if you can, use PTP if it's all you can do. Then on your computer when you open "Computer" there is a new icon, "SCH-I535. Open it and there are two drives, "Card" (your external; micro-SDcard) and "Phone" (your internal phone storage). Pick one and click on it, you see folders. Find your pictures and drag and drop to your PC. If you pictures were not on the one you picked then look in the other one. When you are through close all open drives/folders and unplug your phone. The pictures are now on both your phone and PC. If you want to delete them from your phone go to Gallery and delete them there.

Instead of removing the music from the cloud or the iTunes library why not shuffle your music using a Smart Playlist which excludes the holiday music, or tracks that are not checked. For example, use this very simple Smart Playlist:

If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}
That should do what you are loking for.

No, you dont have to uninstall Creative cloud from the other machine. You can use your Adobe ID to download and install the software on the other machine. Please ensure that you don't use both machine at the same time.

Right click on or near one of the other headers and a pop-up will appear and you will be able to select the Basic Panel for viewing.

Now you're ready to install the USB Drivers on your PC so you can connect your phone. How do you stop Lightroom from automatically making adjustemnts when you are looking at the images?

There is some kind of auto adjustment happening when I look at my images for the first time.
Any knowledge of this, I've looked in help and can't find anything.
Anyone know how to make it stop?
Usually it looks pretty good, but it would be nice to simply revert if you don't like what it did.

Jayme, what you see first is the camera produced jpg (thumbnail) which is done by the camera at the time the shot is taken even if you have set the camera to save as raw. This thumbnail jpg, which is part of the raw file, is required for you to view the image on the camera lcd screen. If it were not produced you would not be able see the image either in the camera or on your computer. Raw files are not in a viewable format until they are processed by a raw converter.
When you import the raw files into the LR library LR will first display the camera produced thumbnail as a preview until it has been able to convert the raw data. This is done at the LR default settings. Since the LR conversion engine is different from the camera firmware it is not able to produce an exact jpg image. LR does not have the info/ technology used by the camera and uses its own proprietary procedures to produce its own conversion.
All the camera manufacturers have their own proprietary technology for processing the raw data which is not publicly shared for competitive reasons.
Tools are provided in LR to allow you to make your own adjustments to the raw data and create an image to your liking. Hopefully even better than what your camera is able to produce. You now have your own "darkroom" to produce your images.
There are lots of tutorials available to bring your skils up to mark. Have fun. There is a thread in the FAQ which deals with this issue. Every raw converter has its own taste which you can adjust.

do you want to copy all of your photos from the iPhoto library to a flash drive? If so select them all in iPhoto and export to a desktop folder (see the user tip on exporting for details on the available options), mount the Flash drive and drag that folder to it

How do I transfer all my iPhoto library to an external drive without losing the organising

My iMac's internal drive is almost full - mainly with 25,000 photos accumulated over the last 10 years. These are carefully sorted into Events, Smart Albums, etc., and given titles, ratings, etc.
As my iMac is becoming rather 'clunky' with little space left, I want to transfer most or all of my iPhoto library onto a newly purchased 1TB external hard drive to be used just for photos / movies.
I already have another external hard drive linked to Time Machine backing up everything on the iMac.
I followed Apple's support team's instruction to create iPhoto on the new external hard drive (My Passport) - and then drag and drop the existing iPhoto library onto it from the Master file.
It's successfully copied all 25,000 photos into the new iPhoto library on My Passport, but I'm dismayed to find that all the original events, titles, etc. are now all shuffled up and haphazard, with all titles, grading, etc. apparently gone.
Fortunately I haven't yet started to delete the photos on the original Iphoto library on my internal hard drive .................. but surely there's a way to 'back up' my iPhoto library without losing all the hard work I've put into the organising & editing ............isn't there ???

Don't know who told you that but it would be difficult to be more wrong.
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
