How to re-create itunes library with the original itunes library files?

My harddrive was dying so I brought it in to get it replaced. After the replacement was done, my itunes didn't seem to work properly. All my songs are still in the same folders but the library appeared to be corrupted. I attempted to reimport the itunes xml file but still no good.
My question: Is there a way to re-generate a brand new itunes library? All my songs are still intact in \music directory.
Any help appreciated.

The same way it was done in every previous version.
Connect the device to the computer.
Right click on the device in iTunes and select Transfer Purchases.
Why would you lose any content by syncing with iTunes?

With the previous version of iTunes, when I plugged in my iPod, I could select the iPod, select podcasts, and manually delete episodes. With the new iTunes, I can't select individual episodes when looking at my iPod through iTunes. Is my only option to Sync? If so, why is that my only option?
This question probably has a simple answer, and I'm just not seeing it.

I think I figured out a way to do what you want to do - which is the same way that I use Itunes with my Ipod. (My Itunes libary was destroyed last year so I can no longer auto synch my Ipod as I would lose thousands of songs).
Funnily enough, I discovered this new way of manually moving podcasts while trying to figure out what cpragman was trying to say (I never could - he must be smarter than me, as I couldn't get his method to work).
1. Open up your Itunes in your regular Library view. Choose Pocasts from the left hand side (either in the sidebar if you have that enabled, or from the little "radio" icon if you don't.)
2. Mouse to the podcast you want to place on your Ipod.
3. Right-click it. A long menu will pop up.
4. Move to the "Add to Playlist" option. As you hover, all your playlists will be visible. But at the very top will be the name of your Ipod itself (whatever you named it originally). Choose THAT name, and voila! That podcast will now copy to your Ipod and be easily available when you disconnect.
A nice feature of this method is that you can shift-click several podcasts at once and do the same thing, and all your selected podcasts will copy over (if you're like me and update your Ipod only every few weeks).

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. You can click on the little triangle that's next to the little box at the top left of the new iTunes. It will give you a drop down box which gives you several selections. One of the selections is "Show Menu Bar". Click on that and you get the bar back that was on the previous version. Then in "file" you can print a CD jewel case list just like before!

Make sure that the "Sync Music" option from the Music tab in your iTunes is checked but not the "Entire music library" underneath the "Entire music library" option you can select which parts of you iTunes library to sync with your iPhone.

The accuracy of the GPS Receiver is +/- 0.5 meter. Its a Novatel product (Flex Pak). I am getting the string data from the GPS receiver. I took the Longtitude data as for my X and Latitude data for my Y. I took the Longtitude and Latitude data from the center of post for my reference calculation only to get the true value of X and Y at the end of the boom. I call the X and Y value at the end of the boom as dynamic because it always give me the value wherever the boom goes. Please see the attached sample VI's.
At one point , I actually measured, using a tape measure, the distance from the end of the boom to the center of post and i am getting the correct radius. But when I rotate the boom on the other side it will give me a different radius. And looking at this radius value, while rotating the boom, I can judge that my point of origin is not (0,0).
At this point I have no idea how to get the correct origin. Kindly teach me if you have idea on this.
Do you think the way I calculated for the true value of X and Y is still correct? Is my reference too far?

If you are using a sessions.xml file, you can get your project from your session. Ensure that when you access your session from the SessionManager, that you do not have it login.
Session session = SessionManager.getManager().getSession("my-session", false);
session.getProject().setConnector(...);
session.login();
If not using a sessions.xml, you can either read your Project from the XMLProjectReader, or instantiate your Project class directly.

Hi mates, I'm thinking about doing some stutter vocals with the ultrabeat so I've got a vocal and I have flexed it in time so it fits well on the song's tempo, the problem is that when I create an audio file of the part of the vocal I want to use on my ultrabeat, it creates an audio file that's not fitted in time.

You need to create Apple Loop, REX etc.
For example select the region that you have already flexed, right click ->Bounce Merge->Bounce Inplace. I will create a new audio track with the bounced Flex work.
Select the new region and go to Audio menu ->Open in Apple Loop Utility and check "Loop" and other attributes to create an Apple Loop. Save the Apple Loop and close the utility. You can enable the left-hand sidebar that you used to show on previous versions of iTunes via control-S on a PC - it should then look, and be able to be used, similar to how it used to be
