How to re install Cs5 after I uninstalled it?

i need to reinstall cs5. I had to uninstall it because it was quitting every time I tried to save any documents. (regardless of size) How do I reinstall without paying for it again? I have my serial numbers and whatnot....

This is why....
I just got this computer in December. I have been using CS5 with no problems at all. Yesterday, I tried to save a very simple file to the desktop and illustrator crashed. It is happening any time I try to save the file to anyplace other than the one file that comes up when I use the "save as" or "save" command. Its happening no matter how small the file is.
I have already removed almost everything from my desktop as one person suggested. I have uninstalled illustrator, run the cleaner program, restarted and re installed illustrator. I have updated illustrator to the current version.
I am using osx yosemite 10.10.2
I have 16 g of memory.
I have 258G free out of 500G total of storage.
I am at a loss.
Do you know why it would be crashing?

Installed CS5 after CS5.5. How do I fix associations?

I installed CS5.5 Master which includes PRemiere and After Effects onto a brand new PC I built. I though I knew that I'd never need my copy of CS5 MC again so I didn't even load it. Then I realized I have several plug-ins that will not install in CS5.5. So I went ahead and installed CS5 MAster but only selected After Effects and Premiere since these are the only ones I need the plugins for. Well...it worked, but going forward "all" plugins are pointing to CS5 now instead. I modified the registry key HKLM\software\adobe\premiere pro\current version\plug-insDir to point back to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS5.5\MediaCore.
I thought this should fix it but is does not. Additionally all my projects are opening with CS5 instead of CS5.5. Is there some way to fix this? Can I reinstall CS5.5 overtop of itself, even if I've done all the updates and installed a dozen+ plugins? Any help would be great!

These are older versions of a few plugins that work in CS5.5 but will not properly install since the installation package is looking for CS5. I have them installed and working now, but I am wondering how I can get CS5.5 to be the main version of CS on my system again? I tried to go into Programs and Features and see if I could simply do a repair of the installation but Adobe only offers uninstall options. I'll keep looking. I realize now that I should have installed CS5 then CS5.5 but I have a streamlined clean build that I spent 3-4 days on and don't want to start from scratch.

My MacBook pro crashed after a failed Yosemite update and I have to erase my hard drive. When we re-installed it I had lost all of my applications. I cannot find my discs for CS5 but I have my serial number online. Can anyone please tell me how to re-install all my Adobe applications?

I did end up getting CS5 Design Premium installed but I’m having problems updating the following 3 apps and here is the error messages I’m getting:

How Can I install CS5 Production on iMac with Lion?

The install seems to be going fine and then either a) crashes out or b) continues to the end, but gives an error message saying all applications had an error installing and I need to re-install.
I've tried uninstalling CS5 and running Adobe Cleaner too. Also tried uninstalling Adobe Air. Java is installed. I did that early on.
The Adobe Suport Advisor said I should open the activity monitor and close all conflicting programs, but it didn't list which ones were conflicting.
I was thinking of re-installing Lion, but I'm not sure who to do that since the iMac did not come with any OS discs.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. I'm trying it right now.
I uninstalled CS5
Uninstalled Adobe Air
went through the library and deleted all files with "adobe" in the name (except fonts)
did a search for files with "Adobe" in them and deleted all of those
resinstalled Lion OS
rebooted
downloaded and installed Java Runtime 1.6
rebooted
and now I've just begun re-installing CS5 from the DVDs. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

You can remove CS5 by invoking the un-installer located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers. Once complete install CS5.5 and enter the CS5 serial number when prompted for a qualifying version.

I was signed in with download assistant, no just in at adobe.com... I've tried different perferences and settings but when I click on the links nothing seems to happen. I've been messing around with this for a few hours now and it dawned on me that it may have something to do with my internet. I live outside the city- totally nice for gardening, totally terriable for internet thus I have a verizon data plan and not unlimited internet, I think possibly verizon is shutting it down because of restrictions I have on my data. This type of thing also happened when I upgraded to Mavericks. The file itself was larger than my month's data so it seemed like it wouldn't initiate the download... I don't know for sure if it is the same problem here but if you're telling me that you are having more successful results than I am that might be the reason.
I'll take my computer to work or to my mom's house or somewhere where I can have unlimited access and see if I have any better success.

As there is no disc reader on the iMac, I tried downloading photoshop CC and entering my serial number - which wasn't accepted ( it's the only photoshop I could download, was hoping they would recognise my serial number and install CS5 for me). I'm not getting a new computer, but my current one is getting a little old (Macbook Pro V. 10.6.8) and I'm afraid it might crash if I download the newest Maverick system, which is why I want to make absolutely sure I'm able to save and transfer all my old files and CS5 Creative Suite programs if this indeed happens. I don't trust Time Machine to do it; my boss had this happen and Time Machine did not transfer the Adobe programs. I also don't want to rely on Time Machine and any other file transfer (which all new Macs offer) because I've had brand new computers crash because of old corrupt files from my old computer converting over, and the Apple people said it's a bad idea (which would have been nice to know BEFORE the computer crashed and everything. . .) I've been told you can only use the CD to install CS5 onto your computer twice, which I've already done (thanks to my brand new computer crashing once already). So I would like to know how it's possible to install the program onto a new computer should this one crash, without the use of file transfer or Time Machine. I have no interest in upgrading to CC.

Avoid using Time Machine for re-installing Adobe software. It rarely works and usually breaks the activation mechanism.

You can install the software as many times as you like but you can only activate the software for use on a maximum of two computers at the same time.
To re-install you will need your CS5 serial number.

Officejet 6700: how do I install Help after I have installed everything else.

1. HP Help for my unit doesnt seem to be installed on my laptop running Mac Mavericks. I had to run the CD to learn how to turn on/off 2-sided printing (duplexing). Where do I look to find whether or not Help was installed when I installed everything else?
2. If I find that it's not installed, how do I install it without going through all the other installation procedures? That is, if it's needed, can it be done separately, without disturbing the otherwise complete installation I've done?
