My iPad if frozen... Nothing works. I have tried shutting it down while pressing the round button and it will not restart.
Does anyone have a solution?

Hello all.
I ve been working arround a problem i ve when i try to insert my animation into a slider in wordpress. The problem is that the animation start allways when the page loads the iframe that contains it , and i need that it starts when that iframe is visible (visibility:visible). Is it possible?
I figure that it should be a simple function on stage-creationComplete, but i really dont know how to do (i am not bad at design, but my programming skills are terrible).

To start the animation on just the iframe being visible just change the return statement in 'isScrolledIntoView' function .
Change the return value to
return (elemTop <= docViewBottom);
I think its works in Chrome when you run both the animate exported html and main html hosted from a server.Let me know if thats not the case

Just connected my Ipad 2 to an HP laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate and getting error msg saying This Ipad cannot be used because Ipad Mobile Service is not started. How do I start it. Have not had this problem before I upgraded to IOS 6.

Two days ago, I was updating applications. The iPad crashed during the process so I did a hard rebood. Since then, the iPad is in a perpetual reboot mode.
Once in a while, I get the security keypad but as soon as my password is put, the iPad freezes and then, goes in reboot.
We tried to connect to iTunes on our MacBook Pro but the connection is often not possible because of the reboot.
A few times, we were able to see the iPad menu and even tried a restore from iTunes. iTunes downloaded the iOS 6.1.3 again (over multiple connection/reconnections) but no help. The iPad is still rebooting all the time.
What can I do?

Send the iPad into DFU mode and then restore it through iTunes.
Google the instructions on how to place your iPad into DFU mode.

Nothing firefox is starting, how can i fix it if nothing works?

recently my firefox wont start even though every other browser works fine. i've tried the fixes here but no form of firefox program will start and task manger doesnt show them. i've tried uninstalling and clearing the appdata and still nothing. nothing seems to be fixing the problem even at a fresh start.

You can choose to have it repaired by Apple or a third party company if you wish.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

How come my mini iPad is not working after trying to update apps?

My mini iPad is repeatedly showing me a black screen with a, "white apple," in the middle & then a couple of minutes later it turns off for a few minutes. Then the black screen with the, "white apple," in the middle comes back on again and then it goes black again. Sometimes the black screen would lighten and the whole pattern of these "screens" would start over again. It's been doing this for hours since I fell asleep.
This happened when I was trying to update 4-5 apps at the same time. It had trouble updating the, "Pinterest app." It failed once and I retried it and that's when my mini ipad started to not work. I can't use it at all. I never had trouble updating several apps at one time before. I was at home using my wifi and my wifi strength was at its maximum for the iPad.
The battery was at 40 something%, so I charged it over night. It has the latest iOS update software. I had downloaded that yesterday.
I plugged it into iTunes on my computer and the same thing is happening. It's picking up my icloud stuff like my music and videos and my computer is trying to import photos from my mini ipad automatically, but my iPad isn't fully recognizable on iTunes. I get 2 error messages. One says, "iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later." I also get an error when trying to import photos (just to try it out). The other error message says, "The iPad cannot be sync because this iPad cannot be found."
And so, I unplugged it and plugged it back in and I get the same response. My iTunes is the latest version.
I don't have warranty on this iPad and I spent like $500 on this one. I'm kinda worried...?
Any kind of response would be appreciated....

First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Macbook Pro does not start up and nothing works. Need recovery!

My MacBook Pro has shut down while wathcing a video and when ever I try to start up, a sign looking loke"no parking (Prohibitory Sign)" comes up after grey screen.
I tried to start it in safe mode but it does not go in safe mode.
Tried pram and nvram reset pro but didnt help.
Succesfully started in recovery mode ( tried both cmd + R and Cmd +opt+ R) tried disc repair but it cannot repair or verify anything. it gives me errors.
Could not recover anything in here as could not find any back up.
Tried to re-install Maveric but could not see HDD, so could not go ahead.
Inserted OS X installationCD that came with laptop, stared up by holding C, tried to repair disk but again, could not repair disk.
Could not do anything in Terminal.
I cannot even erase and re-install the OS
I also had windows 7 installed but now I cant start it up aswell.
The question is, what else I can try to save my computer? More importantly, I have so many pictures I want to save. How can I save them?

Based on the procedures you have tried and the symptoms you have described, your MBP internal HDD had failed and will need to be replaced.
If you have a backup, your data should be available to you when you install the new HDD. If you do not have a backup, you may try to see if any of the data recovery software available online will work for you. Most have a trrial version that will tell you if they can be of any use for you or not. The last option is to engage the services of a data recover firm. They will not guarantee if they can get any or all of your data and will be very expensive.

How PO validity start and validity end works

In the PO Header (tab Additional data), there are fields: validity start and validity end. The help text states the following:
Start of validity period
Date as of which services can be performed or materials delivered.
In the case of purchase orders:
Start of the period in which the service is to be performed or thematerial delivered.
End of validity period
Date up to which services can be performed or materials delivered.
In the case of POs:
End of the period in which the service is to be performed or thematerial delivered.
I maintained a validity date range 01/01/2007 to 01/10/2007. When i tried to receive the item with posting date 01/15/2007, the system saved the GR without even a warning message that the GR was outside the PO validity date.
How does this field work? Is this standard configuration or does this only work with a user-exit?
I would appreciate any input.

Forced Restore iPad 2, nothing works

Hoping Apple and someone can assist to fix this asap.
Issue:
Understood I missed the warranty renewal period. And now the iPad 2 is not usable after paying USD700+. Just want to reconfirm if it is certified dead and no way to make it alive again.
*it hang and I pressed power + home button hoping to restart it.
*it went into recovery mode
*plug into mac book pro and was informed I had to run restore
*clicked restored and received error 21
*tried many times under Recovery mode or DFU mode - same error 21
*took it to the HK Apple Store to check. they did what I have done many times.
*was informed 2 options: paid HKD1,900 to get a new ipad 2 or buy a new one.
I did not jailbreak or done anything with it at all before.
Tests:
*I did not believe the hardware died so quickly.
Desperately want to get it alive, I used some tools to try to make it alive again but not successful, as it was not jailbroken and none of those tools worked.
*These tools can recogniz the iPad in Recovery mode and also DFU mode.
*Tested using tinyumbrella and the server log showed communication between iPad and my laptop (mac book pro and fujitsu-win 7)
*Tested using redsn0w to restore using the only shsh blob I could retrieve - error - invalid ramdisk
*Google like a crazy woman....something related to I did the iOS update via OTA...which caused some kind of ramdisck mismatched (?)
Now I was stuck, which to me, after all these tests NOT JAILBREAKING but to verify if the iPad is functioning. Make me believe it is more related to the whole OTA updates (somehow screwed up the 'records' on my iPad 2) + Restore & verification process among the Apple server, iTune that caused the error.
But my ipad 2 was "suspected" to be jailbroken by the new itunes and cannot get passed the verification process and asked to pay the additional fee and get a new one?????
I hope someone from Apple can look into this and explain step by step how to fix this.
These are all the research results I did for you and please let me know how I can fix it before jumping into conclusion that the iPad 2 I bought in NYC around mid Aug 2011 is certified dead because of hardware and due to warranty expire, I have to pay for the possible bug or mismatch on the update process since OTA update was available (and I did update via the "Air" and arrived at this **** now)....?

Here are a couple of "non invasive "things to try.
First reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. See if that does any good.
If that made no difference, try this. Reset all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.

Why can't I log into an app on my ipad when it works on my iphone? Specifically ones that require my U-verse login to view.

I am unable to use some of the tv viewing apps that require my ATT Uverse login. They apps such as NBCSports work fine on my iphone, but when I try to use it on my ipad, I get a user not authorized message.

You can use iCab Mobile to log into your iCloud.com account on the iPad. You must identify iCab as a desktop browser. I use iCab Mobile and I identify it as Fire Fox 4.0 for Mac. I can log into my account this way.
I do NOT have iCloud email so I'm not positive that you can log into the email this way, but IF I recall correctly from reading a couple of other posts, it will work.
If you want to take a chance, download iCab for $1.99 (I think). I can tell you this much - it is a superior browser to Safari on the iPad in just about anyway that you can imagine - even if you can't access your iCloud mail.
