How to reach tagged pictures outside Elements?

I have organized my pictures in Elements 9 with various tags and ratings. Now I want to pick theese choosen pictures and attach them into a Power Point presentation.
How can I get the rated/tagged pictures to a cataloge that is reachable in Finder without Elements? I have a Mac Book.

How to relink offline pictures in Elements 7?

When I started my Catalog in Album (back in 2001) I have put many pictures offline on CD. Relinking to the original was very simple; just clicking on the pic, loading the CD and the software automatically found the original pic on the CD. In Elements however this feature seems to have disappeared. When I click on one of my offline items a relink screen pops up in which the software proposes to relink to the... thumbnail! The "browse button' won't help, it cannot find the CD drive location at all. The only possibility is to explore the CD with Windows Explorer, but then there is no relink feature. This is what you call progress!
Does anybody know a workaround. The strange thing is that Elements Still has the functionality to put pic's offline. So how to get 'm back?

I think I now have the right output; pls find below. The strange thing is that PSE seems to notify my F (CD) drive (see below); However, when I open the "reconnect missing files" screen it only shows my internal (C/D/E) drives.

How do I access pictures outside of Aperture?

When I import pictures from my camera, it automatically stores them into the Aperture Library. How do I access the files on the hard drive outside of Aperture? Say I want to upload a picture to a site using their basic uploader browsing tool thing, how do I get to the pictures? All I see is the Aperture Library icon...

There are many, many ways to access your files in Aperture:
*For Users of 10.5 and later*
You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
*For users of 10.4 and later* ...
Many internet sites such as Flickr and SmugMug have plug-ins for accessing the Aperture Library.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the Aperture Window to the Attach window in the browser.
*If you want to access the files with Aperture not running*:
For users of 10.6 and later:
You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the Aperture Library from your Services Menu. Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and later:
Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser

Which version of Photoshop Elements are you using?
Which camera model are the images from?
If you are shooting in raw (NEF) format it depends very much on the version of elements and the camera model.

I am not very sure what you may be asking for but in case if you are referring about opening any image in elements then open Editor and then go to "File Menu>Open" . File open dialog will open , just browse to your file and press ok. The picture will get open in elements.

my father and me have both PSE, I have version 11, he 10. When I get tagged pictures from him, the persons are normal tags after import to PSE Organizer 11 and not faces. How can I import those pictures, that I can filter later for the already included persons without repeated face detection by myself?

Hello Andaleeb,
sorry for my long delay, but I don't get so often new photos from Friends. Today I got the same problem by importing Tagged Fotos from PSE11 to an other PSE11 Catalog. Here is the reproduction:
- Having two Catalogs: One e.g. For photos until 2009 and one for newer photos.
- Finding some Scans in newer Catalog (>2009) with wrong date and correct the date to <2009.
- Tag all photos in new Catalog with Persons (faces) e.g. "Christian from Laatzen"
- Save meta data in the files (by File menu)
- Copy Files via Drag and Drop to a folder where also other files of old catalog (<2009) are stored
- delete files in new catalog (incl. checkbox detele also from harddisk) because the copy is in the other folder
- open old catalog where also a person "Christian from Laatzen" is included
- import there the fotos from the folder created above
- Get a selection box if tags shall be imported (there the names are shown: e.g. "Christian from Laatzen")
- Import -> Now are the persons are together with other imported tags in a Tag-category like "imported keywords" (german: "Importierte Stichwort-Tags").
Here I can filter for "Christian from Laatzen" correcty like for other tags like "Holiday". But the photos are not detected as people/faces - when I select People tab and then the stack of "Christian from Laatzen" (tagged before in old catalog <2009) the new imported photos are not shown...
Hope it helps to understand the problem. I wouldn't create a screenshot as there would be real names with first and last name of > 10 persons and I assume it would not be ok for them to find there nemed in a forum.

Pictures can appear in any number of albums.
To move from one album to another, add the picture to the new album and then right click on the picture, select Remove from album and then select the album you want to remove it from.

Total noob in photo shop here..
I am very expert on using Paint (HAHA..) but using Photoshop 2014 is my very first time and only thing I know how to use is magic eraser..
Right now I'm doing a website project and trying to make few pictures for each pages.
I'm trying to make one picture that has multiple pictures inside. (with some designs.. and look smooth.)
I have no idea how to use Photoshop and I just simple need to put pictures together to look nice and neat.
I have attached two picture samples. It would be nice if you could teach me step by step how to make a pictures like that (would be awesome if its even better ^^)

How to change the picture frame size in Lightroom 5 Book

I would like to control the actual picture frame size when making a Book in Lightroom 5. Or else know the sizes of the different picture frames provided by choosing the different page layouts. That way I can either change the picture frame dimensions to accomodate each photo or change the image size to fit in the offered picture frame. I find that using the software as is winds up cropping the images in unwanted ways. Modifying the picture frame would be my preferred alternative. Appreciate any ideas

I have been using Adobe Photoshop 7, Photoshop Elements, Perfect Photo Suite, Photo Studio, etc., changing Image size, placing a picture on a page and then, do a simple last minute size adjustment by using the arrows to stretch or shrink it in place. Things would be a lot simpler if I could do the same thing with the cells in Lightroom 5. Cell pad adjustments do not fill the bill.

How to Process a picture from a Camera to Labview

I want to try and get a picture processed through Labview from a camera. For example I want to take a picture of a cup on a table and process it through Labview so that I can write a program for a robotic arm to pick up the cup from the table. I would like someone to advice me on how to process the picture from the camera and display it on Labview. Are there any examples in Labview, or the internet that can help put me in the right direction?

I would recommend starting small and have clear objectives in mind. For example clearly define what you want your robot to do. Do you want it to pick up "a" cup or anything that looks like a cup. Things like learning algorithms, image processing, IMAQ, 3D motion control all come to mind. These are subjects outside the scope of Labview but may be required in addition to understanding how to program your task in Labview. There are dozens of examples in Labview on these subjects. Take the task one step at a time and move from there. It may also be helpful in the forum to give people an idea of your background. If you are new to Labview this may be a very hard first program. On picture A, use one of the selection tools (e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, etc.) to select the object
Go to Edit menu>copy to place the object on the clipboard
Open picture B
Go to Edit menu>paste
Get the move tool out of the toolbox, and position the object and resize with the corner handles of the bounding box
