How to read .dat file and display on a chart.

Hello, I am very new to labeled and am looking for some guidance on how to display data from a file onto a chart. I have registered the appropriate data plug in (Yokogawa_DAT) however when I try to use the file viewer VI it is still not recognized by LabVIEW. I have included a sample of the data which includes 2 channels plus time stamping and color information etc. The data is produced by a Yokogawa VR100 recorder that is no longer supported, and therefore the native viewing software is impossible to get. Unfortunately my time is limited and learning all the ins and outs of LabVIEW is going to take a good deal of it, I am hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction to learn the basics of what I am after without having to learn LabVIEW in its entirety. if you're using the oepe with osb plugin (will be installed when you install the osb locally) and then in your osb project > rightmouseclick > new > MFL.

maybe you're trying to create it within an oepe installation which doesnt have the osb plugin ?

Google will produce you with hints on how to read content of a file from Java (ideally the file uses some delimiter). Then in a managed bean, you read the file and save its content in a list of SelectItem. So your managed bean should have the following property and setter/getter pairs

How to read .dat files that are hidden?

Is it possible to read .dat files that are set to hidden? 'cause what i did was i created a .dat file and set its attributes to hidden and my Read file code cannot read hidden files.
here's my Read file code:

and another thing, how do you Write a .dat file that is hidden too? 'cause my password.dat file needs to be updated.

There should not be any problems opening up hidden files. Your problem is probably elsewhere (for example, you didn't escape the backslash, so what you posted is not your code).

Hi, I have a GUI which allow to choose file from the file chooser, and when "Read file" button is pressed, I want to show the array data into the textarea.
The sample data is like this followed:

1) Next time use the CODE tags. this is way too much unreadable crap.
2) The problem is your String[][] data.... the only place I see you do anything approching initializing it is
data = new String[numLines][];I think you want to do this..
data = new String[numLines][3];anyway that's why it's blowing up on the line
data[row][col]=st.nextToken();

How to open a file and display the complete file path?

In my script, I want to create a dialog that prompts the user to define a few variables for the script. One of those variables is the path to a template file. I want it to work the same way that an upload form works. You click the browse button, the dialog appears so that you can browse for the file and then when you click OK or Open, the full path of the file is displayed in the text box next to it. How do I do this with JavaScript? I got this far and it seems to be working, but the wrong text is being displayed in the text box. Plus: How do I properly restrict the file types to PSD. The code doesn't seem to work, despite the fact that there are no errors reported. Initially the Text box is blank, but After I browse for the file, the text box says: "File". Here is the problem area:

To this:
defineVars.STPnl.STPath.text = stbFile.fullName;
The reason is that stbFile is a File object, you need to access its properties in order to get the full path.

Both the file and text values are included in the binary inputstream of the request. The parametermap is always empty.
There exist 3rd party API's to parse multipart/form-data streams, such as [Apache Commons FileUpload API|http://commons.apache.org/fileupload].
