HOW TO READ MULTIPLE FILES FROM DIRECTORY

i have a directory with 100 .sql insert scripts.i want to read all .sql files from directory and execute the insert script automatically.

Let's suppose you have 3 files: "first.sql", "second.sql" and "third.sql". Create a file named "all.sql" in the same directory, containing this:
@@first.sql
@@second.sql
@@third.sqlRun "all.sql".

How to store multiple files from SAp in to Application server?

Hi Guys,
             Can anybody tell me how to store multiple files from SAP into Application server.in my application i have to get the data from SAP tables BSEG , BKPF , BSAK and BSIK that to daily i have to do.
            Any Logic or Code for how to do is welcomed.

Hi,
directories creates basis. If you have task to store data in application server you already should have information into which folder you have to do it. If you don't have this information because it is just for example training for next task then you can use your personal folder into which you have access. To get list of all available folders please look at attached code and form get_directories (you get the list of folders you see in transaction AL11). But don't forget: If you are using open dataset you have to have rights to access application folder!

FTP Adapter to read multiple files from a directory. Not through polling.

Dear Friends,
I would like to know is it possible to configure the FTP adapter in Oracle BPEL 10.1.3.4 to read multiple files (different names, same structure) from a given directory. I do not want the BPEL to do a polling. Instead when I submit the BPEL process it should read all files from the directory.
I was looking at the option of Synchronous read but I am not able to specify wild card in the file name field. I do not know the file names at the time of reading.

Hi,
While you read the file, you can configure an adapter property in 'Receive'. This will store the filename, this filename can be used for sync read as the input parameter.
1. Create a message type variable called 'fileheader'. This should be of type Inboundheader_msg (whatever relevant Receive activity).
2. This variable will contain three parts - filename, FTPhost, FTPPort
3. Copy this fileheader to 'Syncheader'.
4. syncheader can be passed as an adapter proerty during sync read of the file.
During Receive and Invoke, you need to navigate to 'Adapter' tab to choose the created message type variable.

How to read multiple files of a specified format from a selected folder?

i want to read multiple files of specified format from a selected folder, even if the selected folder contains multiple sub-folders, is it possible, if so please provide me a sample.

try this:
foreach (string dirPath in Directory.GetDirectories(WriteYourPathHere, "*",SearchOption.AllDirectories))
string[] files = System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(dirPath, "*.txt");
//loop over files array and do what you want with .txt files picked up during the loop
OR in one line also:
foreach (string file in Directory.GetFiles(WriteYourPathHere,
"*.txt", SearchOption.AllDirectories))

How to read multiple documents from a system directory?

Hi,
I'm trying to read multiple documents from a specific folder that contains pdfs, jpgs... the only activity I found is the Read Document, but this activity does not have the option to read all docs under my folder!.
so any one can tell me if there is another activity can do it or is there any good solution to loop on the folder and read all the docs? any script will be helpful.

Hi,
After many hours of searching and readings, I found a solution, I do not know if it is the best, but anyhow this is my solution:
By using a service operation called "Find" from a service named "FileUtilsService", this operation will return a list of strings with the names of all files and/or directories under the path you want.
Then by using the "Read Document" I was able to get one file and store it in a dcoumnet variable, and by using a simple looping technique I got all the files I want.

How to read .mdb file from shared folder

In one of my local computer I have a shared folder and within the folder I have a .mdb file. Now I am trying to read that file from MII. I have tried with Get_File_List action block. I am providing the following information to Get_File_List
Folder :
<Computer Name>\<Shared Folder Name>
Mask: .mdb
But in return of Get_File_List, I am not getting any file related information. It is only providing like below

How to read .xml file from embedded .swf(flash output) in captivate

I have been trying to read .xml file from the .swf (Flash output) that is embedded within the captivate file but no luck yet . Please if anyone got any clue on how get this thing done using Action script 3.0 then let me know. I am using Adobe Captivate 5.5 at present and Flash CS 5.5.
I am well aware about how to read .xml file through action script 3.0 in flash but when insert the same flash in captivate and publish nothing comes in captivate output. I would higly appreciate if anyone could help me out with that.

I wants to read all files in directory, its subdirectory and further till end the files in the subdirectory of subdirectories.
I have some idea the I can do this by using recursive function, using the functions isDirectory(), File.list() etc.

Hi, if you really retrieve an excel file, you can not see the data in ABAP. You may see them in Excel. For this you may use
CALL METHOD document->open_document_from_table
of the interface i_oi_document_proxy for OLE objects. You can access the data with reference to the interface i_oi_spreadsheet.

But, who knows, perhaps you want "And Now For Something Completely Different".

in my code i take configuration input from a properties file ,it was really easy but what if there are multiple files ? how can i take configuration input (file path etc) from properties file in that case ? any suggestion ?
