How To Read Spreadsheets/Tables Sent From A PC? FCE Folks-You Are Needed!

YES! I know this is a question for the "Mail" Discussion Forum.
I have posted there and got no reply so am enquiring here as many FCE users have expertise in other fields! (Is that blatant flannel?)
My neighbour who owns a G5 iMac with OS 10.4 has recently started using the internet. (POP account).
He was sent an email with a spreadsheet type attachment from a PC user.
When he opened it, it appeared "garbled" - his words, not mine.
Is there anything he can do to make it readable or has the PC owner got to do something when sending attachments - like we do when mailing PCs?

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
I went round to see him. He had been opening the attachment by simply double-clicking it.
As suggested by you I right-clicked on it and chose AppleWorks to open it.
The writing was perfect and most of the attached "tables" were.
However, some of the tables seemed a bit distorted - tall and thin, so the writing was vertical. By that I mean that if there were meant to be 3 words in a box, each word would be immediately underneath the previous one instead of to the right of it.
I don't know whether that rings any bells with anyone?
Anyway he can see 75% as it was meant to be and the rest is legible albeit awkward to read.

How to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.

The data transfer from Abap WebDeypro to flex island works well. I followed , there is an example from Thomas Jung (by the way as always Great Work) and Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys) but this example covers simple type only.
There is no example with complex types like arrayCollection which handle the transfer of data from flex to WebDynpro.
i tried to do pass internal table value to flex-datagrid.but its not work.
i would like to know
1.how to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.
2.how to pass the internal table to flex-datagrid.
2.how to pass dynamically in ADOBE flex.
3. how to do Flex is receiving the wd context data?
4. how can we update WD context with FLEX data.

How can I accept invitations sent from PC's

I was wondering how I accept invitation requests sent from PC Outlook? At the moment they just show as a line of text in my Mac mail. No attachments to accept.
I am able to accept gmail invitations.

You can't (only) de-authorise computers you no longer have access to.
Your only option is to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise those you wish to be authorised. You can do this by logging into your account settings in iTunes on your computer (Store > View My ID) and selecting the option to de-authorise all.
Please note however, you are only permitted to do this once in each 12 month period, therefore you would be better de-authorising your computers before you lose access to them. you can do this from the 'Store' menu in iTunes.

How to Read a CAB File from JAVA?

Anyone knows how to read a CAB File from java. I need to read a property file of txt file that is packaged in CAB file & then based on that, I have to do processing. Is there anyway to do it.
I had tried using java.util.zip.ZipFile Class, but it does work for JAR, but not for CAB.

How I could transport table entries from table NRIV

Does anyone knows how I could transport table entries from table NRIV.
I can mark them in se16 but the "table entries"->"transport" is grey. What shouuld be done.
Is there another way to transport NRIV entries.

Goto SE01 -> Create Transport Request.
Assign the Workbench request/Project.
Single click the TR. Click on the DISPLAY OBJECT LIST or Press SHIFT + F11.
Click on CHANGE -> Insert.
PgmID Obj Object name
R3TR TABU NRIV
CLick Extras -> Change Object Function -> All entries.
Save.
Release the Tr.

Ok, some background reading of the PDF Reference will help you understand why this is so difficult. PDF files are not organised into lines. It is best to think of each word or character on the page as being a graphic with its own position. The human eye sees lines where a series of graphics (words) are roughly in the same horizontal region.
In the general case it is difficult or even impossible to answer this. You may have columns with different spacing (but the PDF stores no information on what is a column). You may have subscripts and superscripts. You may have text in graphics coinciding with other text. Commonly, there may be titles, headings or page numbers which are just ordinary text and might count as lines.
That said, what you need to do is extract the text on the page and its positions. The WordFinder APIs are the way to do that. Now, sort all the words out, using the Y coordinates and size to try and guess what makes a "line". Now you are in a position to find the text (divided into words, not strings) and report the "line number" you have estimated.

Depends on why it's ineligible. If it's under 96 Kpbs, try right-clicking on the file and choosing Create AAC Version. (If you don't see this option, go to iTunes>Preferences, click "Import Settings..." then choose "Import Using: AAC Encoder" and "Setting: iTunes Plus".) Then rescan your library to see if this version will add to iTunes Match. Or, after changing your import setting, just re-import the song to your iTunes library.
If the song is over 200 MB you would have to reduce it's size to make it eligible.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:
