Sear at google, fro statspack, you will find bulk of good links for the same.
Also, search at http://asktom.oracle.com.
If you have metalink access, it has couple of good notes on how to evaluate statspack.report.
There are couple of sites where you can upload your statspack report and it can give you the analysis. (www.oraperf.com is one of the site).

In oracle 11g you will be finding the spcreate.sql script in the same directory as hemant said just run that script
@@$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/spcreate.sql
And follow the normal procedure which you do for creating the statspack report using the perfstat user

How to read device report for HP Deskjet 1510
Hi HP,
I can see from the software provided with this printer there is this option to print the device reports.
Please assist on how to read this report because it consist of unknown coding and stuff.
I would appreciate if your side can help me on this coz I assume that we can track our usage through this report.
If this is not the purpose, perhaps you may suggest any other way to get an understandable usage reports?
Regards,
Nadiya
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hello Nadiya,
Welcome to the forums
I understand you are looking for a usage report. The printer will print a test page and you can see the page count on that page, along with the printer information, such as your serial number, etc. If there is anything else you may mean by "usage" please let me know and I will do my best to help.
Click this link: Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems
In the guide, look under "Solution six: Print and evaluate a test page and troubleshoot defects" and print a test page.

Thanks for your help.
regards raitsarevoHi
I'm experienced any problem when our application run one transaction it becomes very slow, before it was speed and from yesterday it takes a lot of time to accomplish the transaction. That's why i analyze the problem with statspack and i've done also a trace. It's for my problem and for academic purpose too.
Many thanks for your help. -
How to analyze statspack report
Is there any book I can read to understand how to deal with the sp report ?
I know how to read part of it ,
what I need is something that guide what I can do when I see that wait event X is too high.
for exmaple , if dc_constraints is too high , what do I have to change ?
not only that , I have to analyze the rest of the report , I see how can we improve performance .
Thanks .Hi,
how to analyze the reportWell, I have my notes here:
http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_reading_statspack_report.htm
Also, you can paste-in a STATSPACK report into http://www.statspackanalyzer.com and learn how to analyse a STATSPACK report.
There are several Oracle Press books on STATSPACK, you may find useful:
http://www.amazon.com/Oracle9i-High-Performance-Tuning-STATSPACK-Burleson/dp/007222360X
Hope this helps. . .

Macbook keeps crashing..how to read crash report?
I am trying to figure out why my macbook keeps crashing. I took it into the apple store, they ran all kinds of diagnostic tests on it, and said everything looks fine. However, it keeps crashing. I've noticed that it crashes when:
1) I open chrome, play a hulu video in chrome (or most flash video players)
2) Often times when I drag a folder into itunes
3) Open sonos music player and drag through songs (not all the time, but many times after it's been used a lot)
It doesn't happen consistently with all of these instances, but with chrome it happens the most. I'm not sure how to read these crash reports.. can someone help? It looks like a driver issue, but not sure.

It's because they're just a bunch of amateurs.
All they can do is wear a cool tee-shirt and read you is what it written on the label (in case you don't know how to read, it helps).
I have the same problem since I installed Maverick (supposedly the BEST ever) : My computer has never crashed so much since then !
It crashes about every 50 minutes when I (try to) work, almost everytime the computer recovers from sleep, when I launch iTunes (their own software !!!), ...
I remember those cool guys making fun of the competition ; they're now at the exact same point ! Good job guys !!! -
How to generate statspack report
Hi,
We have to generate a statspack report. We are accessing the oracle server which is in a remote machine. The platform is windows. But we are not able to generate a report. We have to know whether we have to specify the path of that machine along with the oracle path.
Currently we give the command to generate report as:
@d:\oracle\ora92\rdbms\admin\spreport.sql
Error : Scheme d not supported.
"d:\oracle\ora92" is the oracle path. Is this syntax coorect?
It will be verty helpful if u help us in this matter.
Thanking You,
Chaitanya.SP2-0916 Scheme scheme not supported
Cause: iSQL*Plus only supports HTTP, HTTPS and FTP.
Action: Change the scheme to one that is supported.
How did you call the spreport.sql?
spreport.sql is designed for SQL*PLUS not iSQL*PLUS
This script is usually to be run by statspack owner PERFSTAT -

How do I read; get access to those report parameters. The parameters for the report may be one to mutiple parameters.
Thanks in advance... I'm under the gunHi,
The parameter fields on the report can be accessed using the In Proc RAS .NET SDK.
Take a look at the Crystal Reprots for Visual Studio 2010 [RAS .NET SDK Developer Guide |http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sapCRVS2010/en/xi4_rassdk_net_dg_en.zip] and the [API Reference Guide|http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sapCRVS2010/en/xi4_rassdk_net_api_en.zip]

How to read Crystal Report file Design version programmatically
Hi,
I am working on a project where I need the read Crystal file header and extract information that which designer was used to create the (Crystal) report. This will help me do some specific task if the version of the crystal used is very old (say older than 7.0), relatively new (say between 7.0 and 11.0) and the latest (11.0 or later).
I have downloaded the SDK and all the dlls, but I just couldn't find any API or function using which I can get this info.
Could you please let me know if there is any way to read this information programmatically from a crystal file?
(I know this info can be seen in Crystal designer, but I need to do it at runtime).
Thanks.

Load performance - how to read 0BWTC_C05
Hello everybody,
Right now I'm trying to gather statistics (for last two months) regarding upload (extraction) times on our BW system (SAP BW 3.5).
What I need is the entire time for a infopackage run. This must be corresponding to monitor entries.
In addition to this I need number of records.
I would like to compare on daily basis the number of records and runtime per InfoPAckage.
I have tried with Techincal Business Content: 0BWTC_C05.
Report: Utilizing WHM per InfoSource (0BWTC_C10_Q314). But I can not find the link between monitor entries and report results.
For number of records - it is fine. It is one to one
But for i.e. infosource 2lis_11_vaitm - no idea how to read the runtimes.
Any idea how to read this report?
TIA
pawelHi Parag!
You could put the RData file into zip package, upload it, and pass it to the right input port (Script Bundle). The zip will then get unpacked and you can load it from within your R script, the local folder where it's unpacked is called .\Script
