How to read the error message like clipping positive or -ve in Tektronix oscillioscope 3012B

During acquiring the Sine wave or triangular wave from TDS3012B, if the amplitude or Max or min is clipping, how do you read the error?  I used *ESR?, first time when I ran the error query program, it gave me Error message saying it is clipping, after that If I run again,the error query , It would not give me the error message, I couldn't reproduce it, eventhough but On the screen if I measure, Amp, min and Max it says that it is clipping positive or -ve. I was wondering how to read the error message while aquiring the data?  If any one could help me that would be of great help.. Thanks

Usually, reading the error status register clears it. I'm not familiar with this particular model of scope but you may have to initiate a new acquisition in order for the scope to generate a new error. Another possiblity is that a new error will be generated when the vertical scale changes. Unless someone posts with an answer, I'd say that your best bet to get an answer is to contact Tektronix technical support.

  • How to control the error messages (like Application..) in visual composer?

    hi
    is it possible to control the error message?
    After creating the delivery using a BAPI function,
    the return message is displayed in the table list if the transaction is succeeded.
    But the error occurred, dialog box is showed (Application Message).
    I just want to show the error message like being succeed in.

    Hi
    You can try and use guard conditions or check the table for data, if there is no data in the table the application will return an error message.

  • Please help me how concatenate all the error messages and send it as out parameter value.

    Hi Experts,
    Please help me how concatenate all the error messages and send it as out parameter value.
    Thanks.

    Agree with Billy, exception handling is not something that is done by passing parameters around.
    PL/SQL, like other languages, provides a suitable exception handling mechanism which, if used properly, works completely fine.  Avoid misuing PL/SQL by trying to implement some other way of handling them.

  • How to Customize the Error Message when a user enters a wrong password

    Hi Gurus
    Pls Help out me that
    How to Customize the Error Message when a user enters a  wrong password ?
    I need the Help to Customize the messege ?
    How  we can do
    Pls Tell me indetail

    Firstly many appologies I have given you slightly duff information here, I had been editing the file above for email notification texts not logon / password texts.
    The file you need is actually a portal .par file and can be found in the deployment/pcd directory.  The file you need is called com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par (with a .bak extension at this time).
    You need to copy this file to a local machine and unzip the contents.  The files you need to edit are contained in a further jar file which can be found in the \PORTAL-INF\lib directory - it is called umelogonbase.jar.  It too needs to be extracted and the file you need to edit is logonMessages_xx.properties (where the xx is the language code you are using).
    In this file you will find lines like:
    NUMERIC_REQUIRED=Invalid new password (must contain digits)
    You need to identify which texts you wish to modify and edit the text to the right of the equals sign.  Once complete rezip the umelogonbase.jar file and then the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par (this time name it without the .bak extension.  Then logon to the portal and upload the new par and you should see your new logon messages.

    The Sap-Notes 962319:
    1. Check in the Visual Administrator, "Licensing Adapter" -> "General" -> "SystemType" !
    If it is set to "DEVELOPMENT_MODE", verbose error messages are shown.
    If it is undefined, proceed with the next step.
    If it is set to something else, only exception IDs are shown. In this case the only chance is to search for this exception ID in the default traces.
    2. If the system type is undefined, then in the Config Tool "Configurations" -> "webdynpro" -> "sap.com" -> "tcwddispwda" -> "Propertysheet default" -> "DevelopmentMode" is evaluated. If it is "true", verbose error messages are shown.
    3. If verbose error messages are required but still the short version is shown, you probably face an error message that is not raised by Web Dynpro but by other components of the NetWeaver. In the Visual Administrator set "Properties" -> "HTTP Provider" -> "DetailedErrorResponse" to "true".
    4. In addition to the error page shown in the browser or client, important messages - including error messages and stack traces - are written to the log and trace files, e.g. to the default traces usr\sap\<SID>\<instance>\j2ee\cluster\server<number>\log\defaulttrace.trc.<number>.
    a) In some cases, when an exception ID is included in the error message, the detailed error message can easily be retrieved in the log file.
    b) When no exception ID is given, you have to search for the detailed error message in the log specifying time stamp and/or user ID.
    Always consider restarting the system after making changes on the settings.
    It is not recommended to switch the "SystemType" to an inappropriate value just for viewing verbose error messages. The system type potentially affects framework, applications and licensing in an perhaps unintended way.
    In the past there was no distinction between different system types regarding error messages. For security reasons this distiction has been introduced. It is not intended to show stack traces in non-development systems in the future. SAP does not provide workarounds or patches to enable such a behaviour again.

    I've seen things similar to this... there's probably an exception going on in your JSP that has no message of its own (like NullPointerException). The real exception getting thrown up to the place that makes this jasperException for which you are getting the stack trace.
    My suggestion is find out what JSP is throwing the exception and then put a temporary try/catch block that will print the stack trace of any exceptions it catches. That should give you your real problem.

  • How to get the error message which causes Synonym Invalid?

    Hi,
    I created a synonym in USER_B for a table in USER_A.
    I have given all priveleges to USER_B from USER_A.
    I created a package. In that I am using this synonym. Its working fine.
    Today I have seen that.. the synonym is showing as invalid.
    Even I recompiled the synonym. But its still showing as Invalid in PL/SQL developer.
    Here I would like to see the error message which cause the synonym invalid.
    How can I see the error message.?
    Thank you,

    Makes perfect sense. Oracle automatically attempts to revalidate objects when you try to use them.
    SQL> create table t (
      2  col1 NUMBER);
    SQL> create or replace procedure p is
      2   x POSITIVE;
      3  begin
      4    SELECT COUNT(*)
      5    INTO x
      6    FROM t;
      7  end p;
      8  /
    Procedure created.
    SQL> drop table t purge;
    Table dropped.
    SQL> select status
      2  from user_objects
      3  where object_name = 'P';
    STATUS
    INVALID
    SQL> create table t (
      2  col1 NUMBER);
    Table created.
    SQL> select status
      2  from user_objects
      3  where object_name = 'P';
    STATUS
    INVALID
    SQL> exec p
    BEGIN p; END;

    SQL> select status
      2  from user_objects
      3  where object_name = 'P';

  • How to End the Error message: "enter the password for the exchange account"

    i completed configure Exchange Account on my iPhone, but still show the error message:  "enter the password for the exchange account"

    make sure you don't have 2 step verification in gmail.
    otherwise you need to follow
    Signing in using application-specific passwords
    The codes that you’ll get with 2-step verification don’t work with all applications. There are a few applications that use information from your Google Account (like the Gmail application on your phone, or Outlook) that require another type of code. These are called application-specific passwords.
    Some devices and applications that use these special passwords include:
    POP and IMAP email clients such as Outlook, Mail and Thunderbird
    Gmail and Google Calendar on smartphones
    ActiveSync for Windows Mobile and iPhone
    YouTube Mobile on Apple devices
    Cloud Print
    Installed chat clients such as Google Talk and Adium
    3D Warehouse, Sketchup, and installed applications
    AdWords Editor
    Sync for Google Chrome
    Gmail Notifier
    How to generate an application-specific password
      Unlike a verification code that you receive from your phone or through Google Authenticator, application-specific passwords are generated. You don’t have to memorize them, ever - you simply generate a new one each time you need to sign into a particular application. Follow the steps below to generate your application-specific password:
    Visit the Authorizing applications & sites page (pictured below) under your Google Account settings.
    Under the Application-specific passwords section, enter a descriptive name for the application (label 1) you want to authorize, such as "AdWords Editor – Desktop," then click “Generate application-specific password" (label 2).
    You'll then see the application-specific password you just created (3). You'll also see the name you wrote in for the device (4) and a link to Revoke (5) -- or cancel -- the code.
    Once you click Done, you’ll never see that application-specific code again. But don't panic: You can generate a new one whenever you’re prompted for an application-specific password by a non-browser device or application -- even a device or application you’ve authorized before.
    Using application-specific passwords
    When prompted for a password when you sign in to a non-browser application or device that accesses your Google Account:
    Enter your username.
    Enter your application-specific password in the password field.
    If your application has an option to remember your application-specific password or stay signed in, you can select that option so you won’t have to generate and enter a new application-specific password each time you access your account from this application or device.

  • How to given the Error Message in PO

    I have created the contract through t-code ME31K combination Vendor / Material / Plant. While creating PO without reference to contract for same combination Vendor / Material / Plant.  But system didnu2019t give any error message u201CContract exists for Vendor /Material/Plantu2019.
    I know configuration SPRO-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Environment Data-> Define Attributes of System Messages, but I was not able to select which Message Number.
    Can you say which message number select? Or how can create the new message number?
    Please guide.
    Regards,
    Devendra

    Hello Devendra,
    The error which you have mentioned will appear as message/ warning or error depending upon your setting only when you have created PO with reference to Contract and now you are trying to change the same PO.
    However, to create PO manually w/o reference to contract will not populate any message/ warning or error as contract is not mandatory field.
    I guess only thing you can do is make contract field mandatory for particular PO Document type and hence no PO will be created w/o reference to contract. Or if the doc type is also used for POs which do not require contract reference than drill down till possible combination where contract is must and write user exit for the same. Or creating/ using another doc type where contract is mandatory field is also one of the option.
    I hope this clears your doubt. Kindly let me know if you need any further assistance on the same from my end.
    @ Experts,
    Please correct me if there is any better solution for the same.
    Thanks And Regards,

    Hi all,
    There is a master detail form in jsff page using adf application. Detail is represented as ADF table. In the adf Table we have 4 primary key, two foreign key from master table.
    Type of primary key in master are Big Decimal and String. When I input value in field of detail, we get error message :
    "JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:java.math.BigDecimal from type:java.lang.String with value:AC".
    How to make if I input value in detail table don't show the error message?
    Please let me know if you have any solution for this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rakesh.
    I don't try insert String into Big Decimal variable. I have adf table with 5 column and 4 primary key. The type of primary key are: 1Big Decimal and 3 String.
    Now, I want to insert data to the table. when I input data to first column (primary key : Big Decimal) is work well and then I want to insert data to second column (primary key : String) with value "AC"
    but when I insert, the error message is show "JBO-25009: Cannot create an object of type:java.math.BigDecimal from type:java.lang.String with value:AC".
    Why the error message is show when I insert data to second column with type String and I have been input data with String value?
    Are the second column is remember of type first column is Big Decimal ?
    Thanks.
