How to read the value from one context node in other in the same view.

I am working on enhanced component ICCMP_BP_CP/BuPaContactPersonCreate , i need to read the partner_guid from Customer context node in contactpersonaddress context node.
Could you please guid me how to achieve this? if possible, please explain me with some sample code.
i am trying this code in GET_FAXFAX method of contactpersonaddress-faxfax, but it is throwing me the type cast exception.
data: lr_entity type ref to cl_crm_bol_entity.
data: lv_test type string.
lr_entity ?= collection_wrapper->get_current( ).
lr_entity = lr_entity->get_related_entity( 'BuilContactPersonAddressRel' ).

I dont want use all the values in my second program I need to pass empno and job only.Since your cursor gets all the columns (using the * is not a good way to code the cursor), that is what your other program will get when it calls pr_test procedure. You will have to FETCH all the columns in that other procedure and discard the ones you do not need.
Alternatively, change the code of cursor to select only the columns you would actually need.

Due to the problem I have in this thread Re: Inserting multiple rows programmatically got unique key error I need a work around. One work around is checking whether a record is exist in database prior to insert/commit. This can be achieve whether reading the record and if found that it exists or there is function that I can call to check whether a record is exist. Please note that the search criteria (read criteria) is a combination of two fields.

If you korean a new thread you should provide all info to understand the problem, the jdev version you use and the user case. All this info is missing in this thread, but given in the other thread. Conclusion is that we should continue in the other thread.

you can try with external tables .
syntax as follows

For this you need to create directory
Directory Creation syntax:
create or replace directory ext_dir as 'D:\oracle\user_dir\ext_dir';
grant read, write on directory ext_dir to <User>;
please paste the excel file in the particular directory .

By typing code at the keyboard... but presumably you meant to ask what code you should type.
To get data out of Excel there are a few alternatives. The Google keywords I would use to find them are "java excel". I use Apache POI but there are other possibilities, I believe. As for getting the data into MySQL once you have extracted it from Excel, you would use JDBC. But you already knew that, didn't you? You did find the JDBC forum.
In general it's better to ask a specific question on a forum. If you don't have a clue (which is the way we all start out) then just telling people that isn't going to be helpful. The best you're going to get is links to tutorials, which you could perfectly well have found for yourself by simple web searches.

I have a specific requirement. I got an internal table with many fields (let it be my_tab). Some of the fieldnames (column names in internal table my_tab) are stored in separate internal table(let it be my_fields).
I need to store/read data corresponding to the fields (whose name is stored in my_fields) from my_tab.
I am able to build dynamic table (referred by field-symbol) with respect to the given field names in my_fields.
But i am unable to read the data corresponding to the fieldnames from my_tab.
Please provide me some pointer in this regard.

Hell Sanjana,
Ask your basis people to do the clean up after 30 days. If you want the clean up only to be done 30 days after BI extract has been done, then u need some sort of indicator to say that BI Extract has been done , like flag and date in a custom table which will be set as soon as extract is done. Then based on that info u need to delete a the records.
