I am not sure if there is something standard for this or not.
I am calculating the 'Rate' by using 'Value/Amount' and 'Quantity' as follows -
Rate == Value / Quantity
I need to calculate the unit for the rate as below -
Rate unit == Value unit (Currency) / Quantity unit (Base_uom)
(for example -
if value is 1000 USD and quantity is 10 TO then Rate should come out as 100 USD / TO)
Could anyone please suggest how to calculate the unit in this case?

Open the Table in SE11 : eg: EKPO.
Select the Table CURRENCY / QUANTITY Fields tab.
There if you check the Field MENGE you can find the Reference field (eg : MEINS) and the Reference Table ( Can be the Same table or Some other) .
This becomes the field for storing the Unit of measure for MENGE.

How to Map the Unit field in case of DSO and INFOCUBE

Dear Experts,
I have a issue ,Please help me to solve this
I have DSO as provider ,
And, i have to map transformations btw the Datasource and DSO.
In generic Data source, i have unit fields like BASME,MEINS (Quantity units) & STWAE (currency field)
and normal Quantity fields like KWMNG,OAUME(quantity related),OAUWE (value related).
In DSO data fields as Key figure info objects like 0Quantity (which have 0Unit as unit of measure) and some other key figures which have there respective unit of measure in info object definition.
So you Please tell me how to map the Quantity ,Amounts, unit fields to key figures that we have.
(How it will be for both DSO and Info cube is there any difference?)

If it is works ,will u please tell me what is the difference ,if the transformations btw data source and DSO and
what is the difference btw data source and info cube and btw DSO to Infocube or cube to cube .
And i have seen the Quantity fields and there respective unit fields are mapped directly to key figure info object
in case of Info cube . Its working fine .
If only 1:1 mapping allowed in DSO data fields key figures and there respective unit of measure characteristic.
why this difference btw DSO and Info cube can any one explain me in detail.

while loading the data through flat file to BW system i have some different units like - KG,MG, EA,.
when i run the report on bex analyzer showing all unit values but i don't want the values.
how to avid the those unit measure values?
again it showing the report row wise result how to minimize the rows?
pls help to me.

HI,
Wel come to SCN.
create the new formula -> define the formula -> inside formula use the NODIM function under the Boolean operates
if you use the NODIM it will remove the all units.
2. you don't want show the multiple rows result -> select the object -> go to the query properties -> under display tab -> result rows -> select suppress the result rows.
now it will appear single row results.

My Bex reporting shows the units along with keyfigures. Say 15.45Kgs. i would like to show the units separately in a column. Pl tell me how to do it.

you can do it. follow the below steps.
1) create a calculated key figure by assigning the function NODIM to the base key figure (NODIM<base key figure).
2) Drag and drop the unit info-object ( the unit info-object that is used in the key figure definition) in the rows section.
3) Hide the base key figure.

I have three key figures,
1, Stock: Showed as 1000 TON
2, Value: Showed as 100000 USD
3, AVG: Showed as 100 USD/TON, the formula is Value / Stock
In the query, the value will display the unit, TON and USD and USD/TON.
How can I hide the unit?

Hi,
create Calculated Key figure (for the key figures which u want to supress Units/currency)
To use the NODIM function, you have to use a calculated key figure (CKF) which is defined as
CKF = NODIM (KF)
where KF is your original keyfigure which should be displayed in the report without any units. As I mentioned above, using NODIM will help you hide the ERROR message but will not display units even for those records for which the unit value exists in the info provider
Create another calculated key figure (for amounts & quantity key figures for which you want to supress unit/currency) and insert "NODIM(Key figure name)" in formula. Use these calculated key figures for display.

How to find the unit price of a Material

Hi Friends,
Please help me in finding the field for Material unit price or How do I calculate the Unit price of a Material.
because in webdynpro screen user will entering only Material number,quantity. for that material I need to find the Unit price and calulate the to total amount like ( quanity * unit price) and put it in total amount column.
For that I require unit price of a material,I have plant,sales org.storage location.
is there any function modules for that?
Please help me in finding the unit price.

See table MBEW. The value or price is in terms of UoM that you have in MARA-MEINS (base unit measure). You have 2 diff. prices: variable and standard in function of type (field VPRSV).

How to modify the unit size of a XAML grid?

I am attempting to write an interface similar to a crossword puzzle, where some cells are black and most white. The user will click on cells which will become black.
Being a newbie in WPF drawing, I found this excellent resource:

I have 2 questions. The first one is not terribly important. See my 2 XAML files below. How come when I deal with the main one I cannot see the subsidiary grid? In other applications I have a User Control inside my Main Window and I can see the former from
the latter.
The other (rather important) question is this: the unit dimension of that grid is too small, I need each square to be about 3-4x larger, the height of regular text. See continuation post below.

I think the viewport numbers are the ones to mess with, try something like:

I would have experimented with it myself but short on time and I guess something to try is better than nothing.

I read all your instructions and the instruction manual. I have checked all the wires and they are correct, but I am still getting the push power protector message. I even get this when there is nothing attahced to the device except the power cord. I live on a remote island in the British West Indies and need to be able to fix this myself. I have been using my new Blackberry 8900 for the last two months. Till yesterday it was gone fine but last night it shown the LED blinking.....which means i think, it was out of charging. i couldn't charge it as i was tired on that time.
Now the problem is that i am trying to charge it for the last three hours but when i place the mobile with the charger only the RED LED blinks. After three hours of charging mobile screen shows nothing it looks like dead but when i connect it with charger only the RED LED blinks aand nothing more.
I wanna know one more thing as i am already told u that i'm not used to the Blackberry fones, now if there is problem persisting with the software (which i think coz if there is problem with baterry than RED LED never blinks) than where do i get or install or REBOOT the software again. do u people define me any websites or do u send me the torrent or anything which helps in resolving my problem...................

Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).
If it doesn't boot--try using a wall outlet charger if you are not. If you are connected via USB to the PC, make certain that you have Desktop Manager (or the USB device drivers) installed, which you can download below.
Make certain your USB cable is connected to one of the PC's main rear USB ports. Not a USB hub, nor a monitor USB port, nor a USB port on the front of the PC.

How to REBOOT the Network without rebooting the Mac?

Is there a way (perhaps with Terminal) to reboot the Network without rebooting the Mac.
Sometimes after rebooting the ADSL2+ Router (Comtrend CT-536+) from a web browser pointed to http://192.168.1.1 the router reboots but the Ethernet connection to it gets stuck. The System Preferences Network Built-in Ethernet shows orange instead of green and there is no connection to the Internet. I must reboot the Mac to get out of it but I wonder if there is other way to refresh or reboot the Network without requiring a full Mac rebooting.

I'd try setting up a duplicate Location/Connection in System Preferences> Network... slightly different name, then if it gets stuck try switching to the other Location in Network, then hit the Apply button.
