How to Receive ALEAUD as acknowledgment in ccBPM ?

Hi
I'm trying to Receive ALEAUD IDOC as Acknowledgement in ccBPM . I refered to the concepts from the blog (/people/mitesh.parekh/blog/2008/12/01/receiving-aleaud-as-acknowledgment-in-ccbpm)where i have the Message ID which entered into BPM
but not the message Id which triggered the IDoc send . I think i m missing some small detail where i need to capture the send step MSG Id i'm aware that its not possible to get the Msg id in BPM . How is that ABAP Mapping in the above blog captures the message id ?
TRY.
l_msgid_ref = param->get(
IF_MAPPING_PARAM=>MESSAGE_ID ).
catch CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL into oref.
endtry.
Alternatively one more thread has some info
if someone can let me know where you can get this SourceDocNum would be great in this RFC Look up . in the thread Re: Idoc Acknowledgements and BPM.
"<ns0:RFC_READ_TABLE xmlns:ns0=\"urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions\"><DELIMITER/><NO_DATA/><QUERY_TABLE>IDXRCVPOR</QUERY_TABLE><ROWCOUNT/><ROWSKIPS/><DATA>
<WA/>
</DATA><FIELDS>
<FIELDNAME>SNDLAD</FIELDNAME><OFFSET/><LENGTH/><TYPE/><FIELDTEXT/>
</FIELDS><OPTIONS>
<TEXT>IDOCNUMBER EQ '"
+ SourceDocNum
+ "'</TEXT>
</OPTIONS></ns0:RFC_READ_TABLE>";
Since i do not have the Message ID it just creates the below payload from my mapping
This is the request being sent out using the ABAP Mapping as the Messgae ID is null .

- <ns0:ZALEAUDIT4XI xmlns:ns0="urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions">
<S_DOCNUM>0000000000000000</S_DOCNUM>
<S_MESTYP />
<S_SNDSYS />
<S_UPDDAT>00000000</S_UPDDAT>
</ns0:ZALEAUDIT4XI>
Thanks

Another option would be to use JMS instead of db and use a java callout with a synchronous message consumer reading and aggregating the response. Does your target business service return all 3 responses immediately within a short span of few seconds. You can try this pattern if so.
Service client ---> Web Service Call ---> WSProxy
WSProxy does the following :
1. publish the request to the target service.
2. Make a java callout to poll a target response queue using a synchronous Message consumer. java call out has to have a loop which periodically checks the queue for response message. Message Consumer should have some sort of message selector which could uniquely identify the 3 responses associated with a particular request.
3. Java callout returns if all 3 responses are returned or timeouts.
4. response is returned to the service client.
You need to have another proxy TargetProxy which the target service has to call to send the responses.
Target service --> Target proxy ---> publish to Target Response queue with an appropriate header that can be used as message selector.

Hello Experts, my outbound scenerio is R3>PI->Vendor via the URL given by vendor. >>> Can anyone let me know how to receive the above message? What setup do i need to do?
Solution: You need to create a synchronous scenario.
Might be at R3 side proxy sender and vendor side Reciever Soap
Basically PROXY <------> SOAP
Map the proxy request message to soap(vendor) request message as REQUEST MAPPING
and
Map the SOAP (Vendor) response message to proxy response as RESPONSE MAPPING
and in the backend parse the response.
If you need more details, Please let us know.

• How many Receiver determination in File to SOAP scenario

Hi,
I am trying a File -SOAP-File scenario, where file will be send to PI asynchronous. BPM is configured to receive the file and
call the web services and get the response (Synchronous call) .After that BPM send the file asynchronous to File via FTP .
It is basically asynchronous/ Synchronous bridge scenario.
To do this I have have configured the BPM & created 3 Communication channel . 1 sender (File) & 2 receivers ( SOAP & File)
But i got confused in Receiver determination. How many Receiver determinations do we require in this step? 2 or 3. If 3 how they will look like. I believe Interface determination is same as Receiver determination. I am suing Business System to send & recv the file.
Points will be rewarded for suitable answer.
Thanks

hi,
You require 3 receiver determinations.
one from File to BPM(XI)..
another from BPM to SOAP and other from SOAP to FILE.
This is exactly the same scenario.
RFC Scenario using BPM --Starter Kit

• How to receive an RFC message in PI ABAP stack from ECC

Hi mates,
I am involved in a scenario in which we want to receive a message in PI (ABAP stack) from ECC (ABAP stack as well).
We created a RFC destination (3) in sender system (ECC) so both stacks could be linked. However, we do not know how to receive this message once we are in PI Abap stack.
In sender system code, a call destination takes place, an this destination stands for the one destination i noted before.
BUT, as this RFC does not exist in PI, i wonder what steps have to be done in PI in order to be able to get the message from ECC.
Hope you guys can guide me through this. Any help
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
david

Hi Anand,
No no, i do not want to create any sender RFC Comm Channel.
What i want is to receive (by means of no PI adapter) a message in PI (abap stack) from ECC (abap stack), just by a RFC connection (type 3) between both systems.
I will try to explain in more detail what i want to achieve:
1) A standard SAP program is executed in ECC, at the end, a call destination is done.
2) This destination call, calls an RFC destination that points to PI (RFC dest in SM59, type 3)
(Until now, nothing is done in PI, there is no sender adapter, we just linked both ABAP stacks)
3) In ABAP stack of PI, we want to receive the message, make any transformations and send the target emssage to PI adapters
4) From that moment on, a ordinary PI integration is done.
So my question is, what kind of stepd so i have to perform to get the message from ECC in PI without creating any object in PI (ESR, ID, i mean). Just as if we wanted to receive a RFC message, lets say, in BI (abap side) from ECC.
Hope you got me this time.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards,
david

• How to receive a xml CDATA in string element when OSB calling a webservice?

How to receive a xml CDATA in string element when OSB calling a webservice?
I have a business service (biz) that route to operation of a webservice.
A example of response to this webservice legacy:
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:eg="example">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<ex:executeResponse>
<ex:arg><searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse>

</searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse></ex:arg>
</ex:executeResponse>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
the type of ex:arg is a string.
How to receive this CDATA structure to webservice in OSB?

Similiar to the answer How to pass a xml CDATA in string element when OSB calling a webservice?
Use the xquery function fn-bea:inlinedXML rather than fn-ben:serialize
Steps to solve this problem:
1. Create a XML Schema. E.g.:

<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
elementFormDefault="unqualified">
<xs:complexType name="searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse">
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="name" minOccurs="0">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>
</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:string" />
</xs:simpleType>
</xs:element>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
<xs:element name="searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse" type="searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse"></xs:element>
</xs:schema>
2. Create a XQuery to create a searchCustomerByDocumentNumber ComplexType. E.g.:
3. Create a XQuery Transformation (XQ) to get the CDATA response to the webservice legacy. E.g.:
declare namespace ns0 = "novosiaws";
declare function xf:getReponse($searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse as element(ns0:searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse))
as element(searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse) {
fn-bea:inlinedXML($searchCustomerByDocumentNumberResponse/ns0:arg)
For more information about xquery function:
fn-bea:inlinedXML
The fn-bea:inlinedXML() function parses textual XML and returns an instance of the XQuery 1.0 Data Model.
The function has the following signature:
fn-bea:inlinedXML($text as xs:string) as node()*
where $text is the textual XML to parse.
Examples:
fn-bea:inlinedXML(“<e>text</e>”) returns element “e”.
fn-bea:inlinedXML(“<?xml version=”1.0”><e>text</e>”) returns a document with root element “e”.

• Message Driven Beans: how to receive and send in a single session?

Hello
How to receive and send JMS messages in a message driven bean using a single session?
Thanks.

Are you referring to writing code within the onMessage method itself to receive JMS messages?
If so, that is not a pattern that is recommended, especially not in the case of a blocking JMS
receieve. If you must write an explicit JMS receive within an EJB component it's best to use
a "check the queue" approach where you give a very small timeout for the receive. That way
if the message is there it will be returned but if not the call will not block.
You'll also need to take the transactional settings of the onMessage method into account.
If your are sending a message and then waiting for a response, those two actions can
not be done within the same global transaction. For that, you'll need to either use
BMT and perform each in its own transaction or just not use global transactions at all,
in which case each send and receive operation will be atomic.

As in your previous post if you are storing them as BLOB object.. am sure you are able to get a byte stream or byte array(bytes[]) out of it.
There should be some way to identify if its a image or a message BLOB. If its a image , convert into bytes and use
WDWebResource.getWebResource(bytes,resource type).getAbsoluteURL()

• How to receive XML from Flex HTTP POST

Hi,
We curreontly have a setup where we have a FLEX frontend send an XML through a HTTP POST and awaiting a response also in XML. On the backend this is handled relatively simply by a PHP script that basically does the following:
read data (in XML)from FlEX HTTP POST into a new temp XML file.
execute a c++ program with the XML file as one of the parameter.
return the result to FLEX
We have decided to move to BlazeDS for various reasons.
Looking at the examples bundled with BlazeDS they have a jsp example that returns an XML result to FLEX so that part is fine. I am trying to find an example of JSP (or Servlet) that is able to read the XML data from FLEX and write it into a temp XML file. I would then try to use runtime.exec to invoke a local C++ program to process the XML file the result of which will be sent back to FLEX.
Any help will be very much appreciated!
