How to receive calls?

Since I go to business trip around the world quite ofter, I was looking for the best way for me to make and receive calls.
Since most of my business partners are not skype users AND I may not have internet connection, I would like to know how can I make and receive landline/mobile calls without any internet connection.
It seems to me that I can call someone's landline/mobile using a Skype To Go number without internet connection, but how exactly can I RECEIVE calls using this same Skype To Go number? I know that I can receive landline/mobile calls with Skype Number in Skype but that would require internet connection.
Again, for Pay As You Go and Subscription, how can I receive calls from landline/mobile?

Use your Contacts app, fill in your contacts info like name, address and phone number.
Now, if you want to call that contact, tap his phone number in Contacts app and it will automatic dial it for you.

Hi I have tried looking for solutions to my question but can't find any that quite fit.
Can a caller from Philippines call my Philippines mobile number and have this call redirected to my Malta skype number for me to receive whilst in Malta ? If not which is the most economical setup to receive calls from the Philippines whilst I am in Malta ?

Was wondering what we need to do in order to transfer our Skype calls (on a US phone number) to our landline number in S Korea. We have Skype credit, but I am not sure if this is all we need. Thanks

Skype Credit is all you need to forward calls to a Korean landline. You don't have to purchase a subscription covering calls to Korean landlines, but you might consider doing that if you are going to receive lots of calls that way.
Calls forwarded to a Korean landline would cost you 2.3 US cents/minute, plus a small connect fee per call. If the calls went to a Korean mobile number, those would cost 7.5 US cents/minute, plus the connect fee per call.

You would need to buy an Online number for people to call

OP, how much history are you talking about keeping? Also, there is no method to archive this in any fashion to be looked at or searched at a later date.

You cannot make your @icloud.com address the login address for the ID. However you can change your ID, currently a Gmail one, to any other functioning non-Apple email address. The Gmail address would then no longer access your account, and so even if someone were to obtain posession of it (is that even possible) it wouldn't allow them to get into your account.
If you want to change your ID to another email address please follow the procedure outlined below, particularly noting the first step.
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server).
