Inter-Organization transfer is not being possible..any workaround?

We were using Inter ORG transfer whiich is a seeded function in Oracle Inv module to transfer material from ORG A to ORG B
Navigation
(N)Inventory>Transactions>Inter-Organization Transfer
Now the problem is our items are not centralised.That is For example an item semi-conductors has a different item code opened for ORG A and a different for ORG B
Suppose ORG A code is SCND.000001
and ORG B code is SCND.000002
we have a two segment item flexfield
When ORG A tries to ship to ORG B, it doesnt appear in InterORG form since an item has to be enables in both the ORGS, source and detination, and since opur items are not centralised thats not possib
So what the user does is assigns the itemcode associated with his ORG to the Destination ORG too
Now when the Destination ORG receives the shipment , he has to receive in the new code assigned to him..Now has a result he has two codes which means reporting gets disturbed, history is difficult to find, manageability becomes hard..
Could you please suggesta workaround for this

Raising receipt for Inter-Org transfer

Hi,
Is there any API for inventory Receipt creation for Inter-Org transfer.
I have gone through Receving Open Interface, Oracle Inventory Open Interface and API Volume II(manual), it specifically says "Receiving Open Interface does not support:Receiving against Inter-Organization transfers".
If any one has worked on this kind of assignment before ,please provide information.Your help is appreciated.

We tried selecting a disk and applying sfs-boot at ok prompt.
Can you please help me providing detailed pre-requesites/steps/procedure to implement this and to start boot from SAN.

We have seen in the Oracle documentation that for rpool below are recommended:
- A disk that is intended for a ZFS root pool must be created with an SMI label, not an EFI label.

You can create a wrapper package on top of the API (hr_location_api.create_location)
In the wrapper package you set all the values dynamically based on your requirements(say the style and add_line columns are populated on your conditions) and then you call the API.

I called AppleCare this morning and Sean helped me out in a huge way. In all of my attempts, I had not done a factory-default reset on the main base station and apparently some sort of endless loop had occurred between those two stations. Sean was very helpful and patient with me, but now the system is working as promised. Moral of this story is if a factory default rest doesn't help on the "problem" base station, try resetting all of the units.

The answer above is correct, though you don't really need to reload, you can just simply clear the OSPF process with the following command:
clear ip ospf 1 process

How do I install Elements for Windows 7 PC with 64 bit? Get error message - file archive part missing

We purchased Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 on September 7, 2014 and have tried a variety of things including searching through FAQs on the Adobe site, etc. etc. and cannot get our downloads to work. We are avid computer users and have never had problems downloading software before.
From our account under "orders" - I have tried clicking on the Akamai download manager and the Alternate Download Method on for each application with the same results.
We have a Windows 7 PC with a 64 bit operating system and Internet Explorer 11.
On all attempts we get an Adobe screen with 2 links – 1 for a file ending in .7z and a 2nd file ending in .exe.
I click on the first file and confirm the download completes at 100% (not paused, etc.) and is in the downloads folder for my user name on the PC.
I click on the 2nd link for .exe and I receive the error message below – 2nd screen shot – “file archive is missing” all folders/files must be in same folder.
So I see it’s a winzip file (as a winzip pop up folder had come up also) so I download the free version and unzip the files in the same downloads folder under my user name to try that.
I click on .exe file link again and same message. I tried copying the files directly to the downloads folder (as they all unzipped into a subfolder called PSE 12 and tried clicking on .exe again but get the same message.
For Premiere I tried the same and got same results on the 64 bit version download.
I do not know how to access the software we purchased.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
Also - if anyone knows how I can contact Adobe for a full refund so I can just buy the boxed software instead - that would be helpful as well as that is not easy to find online either.

The QuickTime player works on 64-bit systems. (It's a 32-bit application, but it should run fine using the standard 32-bit-on-64-bit Windows-on-Windows emulation.)
What's the precise text of your installation error message, dc? (There one or two different ones I can think of that might mention 32-bit)

Using AR Invoice but for Inter-company but with Workflow Approvals

My client is using AR invoices (FV70) for inter-company transactions for other businesses that are not yet on ECC. They also utilize workflow for their normal manual journal entries which can go through up to 4 approval paths one of the latter which requires an inter-company approval. Does it make sense for inter-company transactions that will begin with the AR invoice to go through the same approval paths from the beginning similar to how they wish to do it for regular journal postings (FV50)?

If the location of the companies is the same then Approval Paths does not make sense, however depending upon location changes and more importantly if their are different indirect tax liabilities on the two participating companies then the system might be required.

Apple did not do anything to solve this problem, they said I shoud apply to ITunes which I did. However, ITunes in Belgium does not even have a customer friendly call center, and they reply with standard info if you apply by e-mail which have no relevance to my problem. As I do not have hours to spend on the phone, I tasked my secretary to call Itunes many times. In the end, she found someone to look into the matter which took months.
Simultaneously, I applied to VISA through my bank for fraud investigation. I had to cancel my credit card. In the end, VISA paid my money back and they said they will deal with ITunes. I received a new credit crad from VISA with a new number. I tried to use this new card in the ITunes but ITunes did not accept my card because in their system my name has been registered as if I have commited the fraud! This was again outrageus! I have complained about this to both Belgium and the USA Apple/ITunes, but no satisfactory answer was given. I am now using my wife's credit card to buy smth I want in ITunes. But because of my very unpleasant experience I am not buying much on ITunes store. I am also considering to quit Apple all together. This is unfortunate because I have been an apple fan until I had this experience.

HT4009 How long does it take for apple to return with the needed code for in app purchases. We have a developer working through elance that states he submitted a finalized version last friday to apple and is still waiting to get the code back from Apple?

We are being told by our elance developer that he is just waiting on apple to return the code for in app purchases with our app. he says he had to submit a complete version before they would give it to him and that he did that last friday. Needless to say i don;t beleive him. Can anyone validate for me the process of getting the code installed into our app and how long it should really take.

I'd say an average of one week, depending on backlog. Expect two if you are outside the US.
The outage has caused some lingering effects that seem to be delaying things for some, however.

How to Track the valuation for IC Stock Transfer

Hi Folk,
I have a requirement for Intercompany Stock Transfer Where Plant "A" place PO to Plant "B" and Plant "B" does the Stock Transfer to Plant "A". Both the plant belongs to differnet company code. But both the company code share the same Chart of Account.
The Issue here is how the Plant "B" maintain the valuation for the Stock Transfer as there is no invoicing generated for this.

In intercompany STO delivering plant should invoice to recieving plant and it will have the accounting entries as well.Keep in mind that both plants are related to different company codes.Accounting will be done as normal sales process in delivering plant.

We are currently developing a form to perform inter-org transfer, we could nt customize the standard to our needs.
What are tables affected in this process? I believe MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP will be one of the tables to be populated. Is there any API for the same?.
Any pointers would be of great help.

For any sort of material transfer transactions you need to do.
The best way is to populate your interface table.
There are various tables for material transfer.
1.)MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE
MTL_TRANSACTION_LOTS_INTERFACE --- only for lot control
Provide the lot information for material transaction interface if inserted in 1.
MTL_SERIAL_NUMBERS_INTERFACE----only if serial control is also there.
Provide the serial information for material transaction interface if inserted in 1.
No need to touch any temp tables. They are autopopulated as a result of your interface tables.
By the process you are goin gto run thereafter.
Baiscally after this you can run following concurrent program
