I try to reconnect back to same user by choosing match user but it was not able to find it. Same result with select user option. What is that?

You should confirm that the disconnected mailbox hasn't lapsed before reconnect it.
When an Exchange 2010 mailbox has been disabled, it becomes a disconnected mailbox. Disconnected mailboxes sit in the mailbox database until the configured retention period has lapsed, and then they are purged.

Anyone seen this error? As you know, I just want to remove the Exchange attributes from the user object in Active Directory. Of course, deleting the user object works just fine but don't want to go that route.

I captured everything with the START-TRANSCRIPT cmdlet and changed the specific values to our organization (i.e., "[email protected]" and "LocalDCName.Local.com"). I've tried this on other mailboxes and I receive the same error whether

Cannot remote Mailbox Search after Discovery Mailbox was removed.

I was trying to remove the mailbox search by running
Remove-MailboxSearch "test" -Verbose and got the following error:
Can't remove mailbox search 'test' because there is still at least one mailbox on In-Place Hold.
The, I tried to run Set-MailboxSearch "In-Place Hold" -SourceMailboxes "ttesttwo" -InPlaceHoldEnabled $false and got the following error
Couldn't find the mailbox "/o=ExchangeLabs/ou=Exchange Administrative Group
(**)/cn=Recipients/cn=***" specified as the target mailbox for search 'test'.
My mistake was that I deleted the discovery mailbox. I went ahead and recreated the discovery mailbox with the same name but the LegacyExchangeDN does not match.
How do I go about changing the legacyExchangeDN in O365? Any other way to delete the mailbox search?

I am using a Pop account and don't want to change this setup.
I use two devices to access the same email account but I am not experiencing any lockout issues.
Mail is simply not giving me any options to create mailboxes and there must be a way of doing this. If I can do it in my iMac, surely I can do the same thing on my iPad.

-Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option on the left hand side,
-On the right, under "Accounts" on top, tap "Add Account...",

One thing that might help out.
To add a folder or a mailbox to your existing account, you need to add it on your computer.
Now, this will work and reflect to the iphone if you are using an imap or exchange account.
If you are using a pop account, you will not be able to add a folder to an account on the iphone.

Hi. My subject says it all. How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?
At first I thought I had a virus or something because when I typed only weird symbols came out. Then I reset the computer. Then I couldn't even log in. I tried Time Machine etc.
Then I realized that the "fn" key wasn't working right. It seems to be working backwards. It acts like it's being pushed when it's not, and when I do push it it acts like it's not being used.
So it's kind of a simple problem but it's really annoying.
Is there a way I can just disable it permanently? Even physical force if necessary. I tried to break it but it wouldn't break. I don't really use the key anyway so it doesn't really matter. I don't want to pay a bunch of money to replace a key I don't even use.

That's the best answer. Yeah usually if you press "fn" or "option" you can get it to work for awhile.
Yeah I have considered some kind of external keyboard also. It will make a laptop less laptopish. But it could do the job for awhile.
It's sad because I don't even care about the "fn" or "option" keys.
But anyway it's not catastrophic at least.
And yeah maybe we can get a new computer later or something. I like mine though. It's customized and is how I like it right now.

Our requirement is : When we try to view the Excel Services Report from another web site, Help(?) and Close(x) icons are also appearing in the Excel Web Access Web Part, but we don't want to display them in our site.

To hide them, you need to add the CSS into the xlviewer.aspx which stays in:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS

I would recommend setting the wireless encryption on the AirPort Express BEFORE configuring it for the AirPort Extreme in this case. This issue also comes up often when configuring AirPorts into a WDS.
If setting up security in my recommend order does not work, temporarily connect the Express by Ethernet to the Extreme; make the security changes, and then, move the Express back to the desired location.

Okay, seems I've stumbled upon an ugly workaround but it works for me. I'm using Windows 8.1. Go to the install directory, i.e." C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroApp\ENU". Create a new subfolder (I used "Disabled"). Move 3 files from the "ENU" folder into the new "Disabled" folder: AppCenter_R.aapp & Home.aapp & Viewer.aapp. Open a PDF and no more Tool Pane! I originally moved just the "Viewer" file but if you clicked on "Home" or "Tools" on the toolbar you couldn't go back to the "Document." Moving all 3 files takes care of that issue. Like a lot of people I don't and won't ever use any of the tools. I just want a reader. Let me know if this works for you.
