How to reconnect app to Preferences

I use Print Explosion Deluxe to make greeting cards. It's no longer supported. Just purchased new iMAC and in process of transferring things from my MacPro w 10.6.8 to the new iMAC w 10.9.1, permissions got messed up. After chat and phone discussions with Apple we got the 2 computers talking to each other again. However all my greeting cards no longer are connected to the photos I'd imported to the cards, thus can't see what I put on last year's card so don't put same pictures on this year's card. I found the pictures in User/Library/Preferences/Print Explosion Deluxe 3.0. Is there any way to get that pref folder linked back to the app so the pictures will show up in the greeting card when loaded by Print Explosion? I've probably got similar problems on other apps and just haven't run into them yet, however iTunes does work. Permissions on the Library f is Terry(me) - Read & Write and Everyone - No access. Preferrence f is the same. The Print Explosion Delure 3.0 f is Terry(me) -Read & Write, Staff and Everyone is Read Only. I do not have a disk to reinstall Print Explosion. Any help appreciated. If things still work normally on the MacPro, then start over by wiping the iMac and retoring the OS. Boot the iMac into Internet recovery mode, erase the HD, and restore the OS. On first boot, follow the steps in Pondini's Setup New Mac guide and migrate. Since PED isn't supported, you won't be able to check the greeting card stuff. Do that on the MacPro.

Don't bother, I reached to the solution by my self, you can do it as following:
Type "about:config" [ without quotation marks! ] in the Location Bar (address bar) and press Enter to display the list of preferences, as shown in the picture '''#1''' in Firefox 17 on Windows 7.

I saw that the Apps box was unche cked in my General Preferences (Edit -> Preferences). I checked the Apps box and then "Apps" reappeared in my Sidebar. If you click on Apps, there is an option for Updates in the menu across the top. But I didn't have any apps appear on the page after I clicked Apps. I went to the store and downloaded a free app. That one appeared in the Apps list. But my other apps do not appear. I'm assuming it's something related to syncing (if I sync my device then the apps might reappear). But I'm having Wi-Fi sync issues as well. This "update" *****.

1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.
That should do it.

Did you try to change the location in Settings/iTunes & AppStore/AppleID -> view Apple ID, log in ->Country/Region -> India?

How are ePrint apps created and maintained?

Just bougt a new small HP printer for my home office and discovered ePrint and apps support. And amazed, did not expect this technology in entry level small/home office type printers.
And immediately new questions on what possibilities this opens up for printing applications
What is required to create new apps?
Is it possible to use this technology to add local office apps? I.e. to print site/office specific forms, trivial network interactions and maybe a bit more.
Is subscription type apps supported/allowed, where the app is only available as part of a third party subscription package?
A lot can be built around the email based ePrint service alone, but having ability to also do some simple interaction with the user at the printer would open for a wide range of new possible uses.

How does an app show up without typing in a password for iTunes?

Is there a way that an an app can install or be downloaded without knowledge or approval? Wifi? Bump? Accidental from Facebook?
The particular app in question provides quotes, photos, and cartoons that can be used on Facebook, backgrounds, etc. It also has a statement that the user must be 17 or older to download, due to content.
App does not show up in purchase history. Why not? How can this be?

Found a photo offered by the same app on a "friends" Facebook site. Hey there.
I brang my macbook to Applestore cause it had a problem and they downloaded the latest version of itunes. Everything's fine and my music, videos and apps are in the new itunes like before. But now, when I want to sync my iphone, a pop window asks me to give the password of the itunes account I used to download some of my apps or it will delete them and their data. The problem is that one of these accounts is an old friend's one and I actually lost all contact with him. So basically now I can't sync my iphone at all or it will delete all my apps.
Has anyone any idea how to sort that out? Or at least knows how to prevent apps from syncing in this new version of itunes?

Check that you haven't enabled Restrictions, you can turn toggle the ability to delete apps through there.
Goto:
Settings
General
Restrictions
Enter your Restrictions Passcode
Scroll down and check to see if Deleting Apps has been enabled (On - so can delete) or disabled (Off - so CAN'T delete).
