How to record 'select' action in alv report using BDC technique

hi guys, u r the best;)
my question is: when u select one line in alv report, the line will be high-lighted, right? and suppose there's a button for further processing, then u can click the button to process only this line. ok now, using BDC technique, the system doesn't record the 'select' action! even i go to menu-->select all, it still doesn't work.
or if anybody knows how to release customer expected price except t-code v.25? cuz, i'm trying to record actions in v.25.

Hi :
   you cannot record ALV using BDC.According to ur req., after u enter data in selection screen, it goes to ALV list , there u select particular record and process further rite, say create in bck ground or foreground.
While doing recording, in selection screen if u have any check box which displays ALV List , uncheck it and continue ur recording.
In the bdc program u can see a field some thing like p_alvlist ' ', mark it as p_alvlist ' / '.
If not, copy the program along with includes,  in ur  program comment all the alv part, and  call that particular FM where this selection takes place from ur main program.

    hi,
        i have to insert horizontal lines in alv report.( RM07MLBB )
            actually my requirement is:
                               basis list = RM07MLBB.
    first secondary list = another report is called here ( RM07DOCS )
                      i want to insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list, when i execute individually RM07DOCS , i can get horizontal lines, but when i dounle click in the basic list --> in the first secondary list , i am not getting the horizontal lnes.
    functional modules used are REUSE_ALV_HIERSEQ_LIST_DISPLAY & REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
        here in this program,
                        is_layout = alv_layout.
    hence i tried to give     
                  alv_layout-no_hline = ' '. 
    but not effecting.
              can some one please tell me , how to insert lines in the alv report.

    hello,
         so i cannot insert horizontal lines in the first secondary list according to my sorting condition, i.e., in a single block there should be :
           if same delivery challan number is repeating they should come in the same block,
    for the corresponding delivery challen number, if have po number, is repeating , they also should come in the same block.
                       in this way i have to seperate the blocks containing EXNUM , EBELN CONDITIONED.

    Hi ,
    have been working on a ALV report using the class SALV cl_salv_hierseq_table
    I am facing few issues pertaining to two things:
    1. Displaying some subtotal text along with the subtotals.
    Example refer the standard demo example: SALV_DEMO_HIERSEQ_FORM_EVENTS
    Now instead of A 17 and A26 I would like to show text like Subtotal for the Carrid.for subtotals and grand totals
    Like   Subtotal for A 17 is :      XXXXXXX
              GrandTotal is         :      YYYYYY
    2. We have a page break and a new page for every purchasing group as in the standard example SALV_DEMO_HIERSEQ_FORM_EVENTS for CARRID.
    I need to display some variable values as number of documents ,total number of records etc at the end of each CARRID group before a new page starts for the next CARRID.Please note i do not want it on every page.it should only be diaplyed at the end of page whose next page would be for next CARRID.[basically at end of every carrid]Example:after displaying all details for AA need to display the number of records for that carrid at the end of the page[as page break is based on CARRID]/

    at end of page event, for CL_SALV_EVENTS_HIERSEQ, has some useful parameters allowing to know where you are at the time of event
    parameter VALUE is of type CL_SALV_FORM which contains public attribute IF_SALV_FORM~ACCDESCRIPTION; you can slo get contents of it
    about text of total/subtotal, this is normally set in the layout

    I FINISHED THE SETPS CONCIDERING THE JSP CODE NEEDED TO GET THE EXCEL OUTPUT ON LOCAL MACHINE.
    I NEED TO PUBLISH THIS REPORT THROUGH APPLICATION SERVER.
    THE QUESTION IS:
    1- HOW TO START AN OC4J INSTANCE FROM ORACLE 9I DS FOR THIS REPORT?
    2- WHERE (PATH) TO PUBLISH THE REPORT ON THE APPLICATION SERVER?
    3- WHAT IS THE DEFAULT URL TO RUN THIS REPORT AND WHERE TO PUT IT?
    4- HOW TO MAKE MAPPING FOR DIRECOTRY PATH TO TRANSLATED AS URL FOR THIS REPORT?

    I can't answer to all your questions, however I can tell you that:
    2) The directory where to put the report file is specifiend in a file named
    <serverName>.conf
    in the sourceDire property
    <property name="sourceDir" value="/directory/dove/mettere/i/report"/>
    that you can find under ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf
    3) The URL is
    http://<server IAS address>:<port number>/<jsp file path>/<repName>.jsp?server=<report server name>&userid=<user>/<pwd>@<DB conn string>[&<param>=<valore>[&...]]
    5) In IE you have only to set the previous URL in the address bar.

    Check whether any templates defined in your orgn for different types of objects.
    For example for ALV reports so and so template and for Scripts  something defined.
    A template means I feel a std way of displaying data as per the orgn process/standards.
    check for that.
    Or use the same Std function modules and display the data and enquire further what's the template is?
