environment:
capivate 5.5
on windows 7
recording Demo mode
Capitvate default install and Preference an settings
I want to record windows 7 aero features.
I record the demo
I publish the demo
and check the html file
The result is:
the only thing that displays are the shortcut keys I press to perform the aero features.
none of the aero features record eg
press shortcut keys
CTRL+windows+TAB which is windows aero 3D
flip preview of windows
or
hover over thumbnails
its like captivates not recording 'moving images'
is there a way I can record windows 7 aero features in captivate?

If you route your Bass into a channel in Logic and put plugins/fx on the channel plus you have monitoring on (and monitoring off on your external mixer) - you can record while listening to the effected sound. However what is being recorded is the clean/raw audio - this is a good thing as you can later change your compression/fx settings - printing the effect at this early stage is normally avoided.

i have a 2010 macbook air and an imac, i dont mind which windows 7 is on. i have a 4 gb usb, 4.7 gb disks and a downloaded (its not from microsoft) copy of windows 7.iso. macbook air has about 25gb of space left and imac over 3000gb. i need to know how to put windows 7 on bott camp with either machine.

Use the BootCamp Aaistant, located in your Applications> Utilities folder. It will walk you thru the installation steps. howeve, once you get to the Windows installation step the Windows installer will check with MS if you have a legitimate copy.

How to get list of HTML5 features used by a Edge Project

Hi All,
Is there a way for me to know what all features of HTML5 does my Edge project actually use.
I know there are a lot of sites which tests what all HTML5 features are supported by a browser, but I want to know which all features are being used by a edge project.

Your statement above is half & half: though you may never utilize a html5 element (like, canvas, video or audio) the doctype of the resulting file is still html5

How To Record Windows Hotkeys

I am trying to capture hotkeys for a computer class by creating a simulation & an assessment. I am unable to simulate the arrow keys and some hotkeys like F5. It does not work when I try it using IE but seems to work in Firefox. Haven't tried Chrome.

Trying to simulate use of Hotkeys, especially function keys, is almost always a futile exercise. Your end user's web browser gets first dibs on any F keys as well as any other keystroke combinations it happens to want to reserve for its own use. No matter what you do, you cannot override this with anything you do in Captivate content.

To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

Hi kit,
you can use the DAQmx vi´s to measure your data for example as waveform. If you have your data you can write it to a file. There are a lot of examples in the Example finder.

Windows 7 Aero Snap Feature - how to disable this?

We have Thinkpads in our environment and I cannot seem to disable the Windows 7 Aero snap feature. I went into control panel, Ease of Access Center and made the change, but this does not seem to disable the aero snap feature. Any ideas?

Yes, I just want to cover up all the pages for those particular area of document numbers.
Nothing sensitive about it. I just want to show the correct document numbers on all pages in print out.
So, I wanted to cover up by comments, but commenting on each page will be difficult. So, I wanted to comment the same on all pages.
