How to recover BBM contacts

Hi,
I was reinstalling the 'Burp' application from app world when suddenly at the end of download the phone restarted and went into a reboot loop. I reinstalled the BB OS  6.0 Bundle 3155(v6.0.0.747) which i had already installed on my 9800.
The OS is installed fine. But I lost all my BBM contacts and BBM Groups. And also the os has installed the BBM 5.0.2.12 whereas I had already updated to BBM 7 earlier before the reboot cycle started. Also the APP world is on version 2.1.1.2 and earlier I had the latest version updated. Can any one help for the following,
1. Recovering the BBM 7 and all the contacts and groups.
2. How do I upgrade the App World?.
Thanks in Advance,
B.D.Badan

Hi balubadan
One point that I missed on my previous post , After updating your App World version, perform a reboot as stated then Open App World you may be asked for update your BlackBerry ID software, So before updating BBM first  update your BlackBerry ID software .
Good luck

The fact is there might be another way to recover your lost iPhone files via iTunes on your Mac machine. This Mac utility is able to extract & restore iTunes backup files for your lost iPhone data. Not too many Mac users know that each time you sync data between your iDevice (iPhone, iPod, iPad) and iTunes, all previous records will be backed up by iTunes automatically and saved as (.sqlitedb) files. Hope this helps take your stress out. Best regards.

how to recover my contact list to my ipad?

    Hello haberli
If you have a recent back up within iTunes or iCloud, then you can restore to a point in time that had those backups. If you have your contacts on your contacts on your computer, then you can either use iCloud or iTunes to sync them, depending on your setup.

If contacts were synced to iCloud, sign back in with the original ID.

Changing Apple ID provides no benefit, it only creates issues.  What was the purpose of changing the Apple ID?

  • Does anyone know how to recover deleted contacts?  For some reason contacts with only phone numbers have been deleted the rest of my contacts are there.  It appears that I only have the contacts on my phone that i have on my laptop.

Does anyone know how to recover contacts that have been gone missing or have been deleted somehow.  The contacts that are missing are the ones where I only had phone numbers (no email address).  The ones where I have both phone numbers and email addresses are ok. They are the same ones I have on my laptop.  I dont know what I did to cause the ones with phone number only to disappear.

    Good Afternoon irish357,
I know the importance of saving and updating your contacts. What type of phone do you have? If you are using Backup Assistant, you have the ability to sync the contacts between your laptop and phone. You will also be able to see if all your contacts are stored on the online portion of the application versus the phone itself. The contacts should be the same for both online and the phone.
I have attached a link below for your reference.

    Contacts are not in iTunes.
They are in the Contacts application.

  • How to recover lost contacts (i just back up my iphone 5)

I just back up my iphone 5 before updating for the new update.
After back up from 900+ contacts it became 142.
    so i lost 800+ contacts.
how can i recover my lost contacts?

if they are showing in the device as a ghost contact, your best bet would be to restore from the backup:
iCloud and iTunes can back up most data on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Backed-up information includes purchased music, TV shows, apps, and books*; photos and video in the Camera Roll; device settings (for example, Phone Favorites, Wallpaper, and Mail, Contacts, Calendar accounts); app data; Home screen and app organization; Messages (iMessage, SMS, and MMS), ringtones, and more. Media files synced from your computer aren’t backed up, but can be restored by syncing with iTunes.
    * Backup of purchased music is not available in all countries. Backup of purchased TV shows occurs only in the United States. Previous purchases may not be restored if they are no longer in the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.

    iCloud
    How to back up
iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your device using iOS 5 or later. After you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in Settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage, it will run on a daily basis as long as your device is:
Connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi
    Connected to a power source
    Screen locked
You can also back up manually whenever your device is connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi by choosing Back Up Now from Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup. To learn more about what is backed up, see the iCloud: Backup and Restore Overview article.
How to restore from a backup
When you go through Setup Assistant on a new device using iOS 5 or later, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose from which backup to restore. If the home screen icons appear on your device and you wish to restore from an iCloud backup, erase your device (by going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). When prompted to set up as new or to restore from previous backup, select Restore from iCloud Backup. Enter your AppleID and password when prompted. After your device restarts, your settings and accounts are restored and Backup starts downloading your purchased music, TV shows, apps, books, Camera Roll, and other content*. For best battery performance, leave your device connected to a power source until the restore is complete. You may be prompted to enter the passwords for all accounts enabled on your device.A progress bar will appear underneath the apps that are being downloaded. To prioritize the restore of a specific app, tap its icon. Restore will attempt to download the same version of the app that you had installed previously. If that version is no longer available, the latest version of the app will be restored. To check if the restore is complete, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
    iTunes
    How to back up
iTunes can create backups of your iOS device when you:
Sync with iTunes (disabled if you have iCloud backup turned on)
Right-click (or Control-click) the iOS device in iTunes under Devices and choose Back Up
Use these steps to manually back up your iOS device using iTunes:
Connect your iOS device to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed.
Click the File menu and select Devices > Back up.

From any view in iTunes, click the View menu and select Show Sidebar. Select your iOS device in iTunes under Devices.
Click the Back Up Now button.
To verify that the backup finished successfully, open iTunes Preferences and select the Devices tab. The name of the device will appear along with the date and time the backup was created.
If using iTunes 10.7 or earlier:
Right-click (or Control-click) the device and select Back Up.
How to restore from a backup

  • How to recover deleted contacts from Microsoft Outlook work email account?

Hey, hope you guys can help me out. I somehow managed to delete all of my contacts recently. Here is the scenario:
I recently changed jobs and have been continuing to get emails on my work email address from my old job. This was a Microsoft outlook account. I went and deleted my old work account thinking that it would only delete the email account, and it ended up deleting all of my contacts.
The other accounts I have set up on my phone are my personal email and my iCloud account (although I have never used my iCloud email account whatsoever).
My numbers are still in my phone (I.e. old texts and phone records with the numbers), but all of the contacts are gone.
It looks like my last backup was on August 26. I could not even begin to tell you the last times physically hooked my iPhone up to iTunes on the computer.
Can anyone help me out? Fair warning, I am not well versed with a lot of the iPhone jargon or processes, but hopefully someone can help.

I loaded the new software onto my phone earlier in the week and then onto my wife's phone last night.  We share the same itunes account.  I noticed that her contacts were on my phone so I deleted them and it unfortunately deleted them from hers.  I checked the cloud website and they aren't there.  Are they lost forever?
It is likely that they are gone from the cloud but login at www.icloud.com and see for your self. What else have they been synchronized to, and how (via a cable from iTunes? to Google etc)
Katie's correct, don't share an account, they are free.

my i phone felt in the water and how do i recover my informations in the icloud, but its nt working

If you backed up the phone to iCloud your photos will be restored to the replacement phone. You can't get content out of the backup any other way. However, if you enabled Photo Stream or Photo Sharing you can see the photos on any other device you authorized to these services.
