How to recover deleted photos on iphone 4s?

Does anyone know if deleted photos can be recovered on iPhone 4s? I was deleting photos from my camera roll and accidentally deleted some photos I wanted to keep. Thank you.

Have you made an iCloud backup or iTunes backup, when you synced your iPhone?
The backup will contain your photos from the Camera Roll,  see:

And if you enabled PhotoStream, the last photos from your Camera Roll may still be in the Photo Stream.

    PLEASE HELP!
Yesterday my friend deleted some photo from my iphone 4 and i want them back. Photo was mayde also yesterday... and i didnt sinc my iphone 4 last 10 days.
    sorry for bad english.

If you don't have a backup because you haven't synced in so long, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Next time,  you might want sync more frequently so you have a backup and not let your friends have access to your phone.

Photos are not in iTunes, but they could be in an iTunes backup if you had run one. However, you say you never backed up, so there would be no way to recover them.

You cannot, unless they were there at last backup.  You can try restoring from backup, losing anything done since the last sync.

How do I delete photos of iPhone from my computer? No PC with me

You mean photos that were transferred from the PC to the iPhone?  You can't delete them directly on the device, not without erasing everything off the device.  You'd have to sync the device with iTunes again, and choose to have no pictures synced.

How can I delete photos from iphone 4s after transferring from pc?

acapetown is the one who really solved this for me: his suggestion to create an empty folder and sync to that was THE ONLY solution that actually worked for my iphone 4s. Everything else about uncheckign "sync" and unchecking events DID NOT WORK. I think there is more than one glitch in this system because I noticed a lot of other people struggling with the question. Now my phone is light as a feather again and I can actually benefit from backup to the Cloud. Thanks acapetown!

  • "Over capacity": How can I delete photos from iPhone / set the maximum capacity of iCloud photos to be downloaded to iPhone?

    Hi,
My iPhone regularily goes over capacity because it stores, or tries to store, too many photos/videos from iCloud on the device.
How can I delete photos from the iPhone (but not generally from iCloud/Photostream). How can set the maximum capacity of iCloud photos to be downloaded to iPhone? (I am searching for a setting like "keep the last 2GB of photos/videos from iCloud/Photostream, but not more than that. I know how to turn iCloud off in total, but that is not what I would prefer to do, I just would like to set reasonable maximum.)
    Thank you for your ideas!
Generally, I someone could point me to a good tutorial on how local photos vs. iCloud photos vs. Photostream are supposed to work that would be great as well, because I have many other problem with Apple's system in that regard as well (esp., despite that obviously a lot of space is taken up by photos/videos on my device, my iPhone still downloads recent photos/videos over 3G... I also have the problem that all photos appear double if I try to copy to my Mac with ImageCapture or iPhoto, but there is only a single copy (no HDR, burst or the like) when seen with the Photos.app of the iPhone itself... I came to believe that Apple's photo system is somewhere between counterintuitive and plainly not working... (/rant off) )

Sorry there are no settings to set max capacity.

  • How to recover deleted photos from the iPhone 5s?

I have taken many photos over the last few days on my Iphone 5s. However, i deleted these photos off photostream as i needed the space on my icloud for my apps. When i went onto my camera roll around 12 hours later, all my  recent photos had dissapeared (including the photos taken earlier that morning). Does anyone know any way of recovering these photos???

Sorry, your photos are gone. You should have imported/saved them to your computer before you deleted them from Photo Stream.

  • How to recover deleted photos on the iPhone

Is there a way to recover photos that were deleted from an iPhone 4 before it was backed up?

You can if you are using iCloud. There is a clever software which Apple have installed into the iPhone called photo stream and you can use that to recover any deleted photos. To do this, go onto Settings > iCloud > Photos On. This will switch on photo stream which will keep every single photo that you have in your camera roll, even if you have deleted it or not.
Another method is syncing it to your iTunes and then backing it up. If you back up your photos, there is a chance of getting back any deleted photos. But if any of these methods do not have an effect, then unfortunately, you have lost your photos. If they are really important, contact Apple.
    I hope this helps.

    - your computer if they were imported
if they are noty in either of these locations then I'm sorry they are gone.
