also, itn't itune will backup myself whenever i sync???Will the old back up file got updated when i connect the phone with computer??

I don't think recovery software will help since the file isn't just deleted, it's overwritten.  If you want to try, the backups are located at one of these locations:
    Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
    Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
    Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

How to sync the phone with Itunes, and how to recover the info?
    Can someone advise me?

What sort of info do you want to get off the phone ? If it's iTunes purchases then you should be able to copy them to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
If it's music from other sources then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Syncing a device with your computer's iTunes will copy content to the phone from your computer, it won't copy things back from the phone.
If you haven't synced the phone to that computer before then you may find this user-tip helpful : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How to recover hidden information in e-mail folders?

Specifically, I have a mailbox that all the e-mails are marked as unread. On Friday of last week only 70 of the 900 e-mails were marked as unread. The user keeps track of his job.. by which e-mails are read or unread. Bad Idea.... but.... he didn't ask us.
If anyone knows where the information on "read" and "unread" status is stored, please let me know.
I have verified it is not the client, since this has happened using webmail and no client attached.
Is there a directory backup that would include this information?
    Any help would be appreciated....
    Thanks

Please always provide the version of messaging server you are running? (./imsimta version).
Specifically, I have a mailbox that all the e-mails are marked as unread. On Friday of last week only 70 of the 900 e-mails were marked as unread. What occurred that caused the emails to become unread? Was this caused by the user or was it due to a corruption/modification at the system level by the administrator of the email server - did you have to run a 'reconstruct' at any stage?
If anyone knows where the information on "read" and "unread" status is stored, please let me know.Email flags (the \Seen flag controls whether the email client shows the email as 'read' or 'unread') are stored in the central mailbox database. A copy of the information is periodically flushed to disk the the store.usr file in each mailbox for the user.
Is there a directory backup that would include this information?Whilst it may be theoretically possible to 'reset' the flags back to a previous state the steps involved would be excessively complex to justify the effort.
Any help would be appreciated....I suggest you start with determining how the flags got 'lost' in the first place so that blame can be apportioned as appropriate and that the customer needs to change their practices. 'Recovering' email flags isn't a practical option.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • HOW TO RECOVER BT YAHOO! CLASSIC MAIL

The thread I started some weeks ago HOW TO REVERT TO BT YAHOO! CLASSIC MAIL was potentially confusing and was overtaken by events anyway. This fresh post hopefully clarifies and brings it up to date.
If like me you fell for the recent invitation to upgrade to the "best BT Yahoo! Mail ever" (allegedly) there is no built-in facility to change your mind and revert. But it is possible to recover Classic through a workaround involving a temporary change in computer screen resolution. Alas the previous facility to toggle between Classic and its immediate successor All-New Mail has been removed. The link to All-New now just brings up another invitation to upgrade to "best ever", effectively making it impossible to recover All-New.
Before proceeding you may wish to take a screenshot of your desktop or make a note of it, because changing the resolution often results in an icon shuffle. (You can do the job automatically by downloading IconRestorer.) Be aware also that pages are likely to cramped during the process so a bit of scrolling may be necessary to find a particular place.
    1. While logged out of BT Yahoo! reduce the screen resolution to something like 800x600. The way to do this varies but it usually starts with a right-click on the desktop.
    2. Log in to BT Yahoo! and select Mail. You will get a page announcing that your screen resolution is too low for the new-fangled Mail. At bottom right there are options, including one to revert permanently to a previous version (ie Classic). Choose it.
    3. Close your browser, reset your native screen resolution and unshuffle icons as necessary.
    4. Job done!

The ever helpful BT email online help told me to use the option on the right hand side to revert. When I told them there was no such option they said there was.
The last time I looked at the latest version there was certainly no such option. I mentioned at the start of this thread that it used to be possible to toggle between Classic Mail and its immediate successor All-New Mail, but Yahoo! are not making it so easy this time. That's believed to be because the latest version allows them to use information for targeted advertising (see this thread: http://community.bt.com/t5/Other-BB-Queries/Yahoo-snooping-on-personal-emails-BT-too/m-p/196175#M458...).

  • How to recover data from .bkf files made when os was XP Proffesional into the system when it is windows7

    Hello Sir/Madam,
Previously I was using Microsoft Wndows XP Professional, with version: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600.
I took .bkf files by using the Backup utility (i.e. Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and then click Backup)
And paste it to my external hard disk.
Then I used OS :Microsoft Windows 7 Professional(Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600).I formated my system deleted all the partitions and created new partions and installed Windows 7.
Now I have the .bfk files in my external hard disk and I want to recover my data from that .bfk files made from xp-sp3 pc to windows 7.
    Plz help me.....
I downloaded Windows NT Backup - Restore Utility and tried to install NtBackupRestore_x86.msi .But it will not installed in Windows 7 with a message that this requires Removable Storage Management. Since RSM is not included in Windows 7 how does
one access old Backups from Windows XP?
Will the NtBackupRestore program be updated to be compatible with Windows 7? plz help................................

Yes, you need to first install Removable Storage Management software before installing NT-Backup.exe in Windows 7. To know more about restoring backup file, you can read this post: http://belanalavade.blog.com/2014/04/15/how-to-repair-damaged-bkf-file/
    Berdooook
No.  You do not need to install Removable Storage Management in Windows 7 to read NT backups!
You go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974674 and download the package for Windows 7 that Microsoft has published specifically for this!

  • How to recover I photos from hard drive?  I was told by Apple tech to reinstall my MAC OS X Install DVD, after doing so all of my data has been wiped out.

I had an issue with my Mac and called Apple the tech told me to reinstall my MAC OS X Install DVD.  I specifically asked if I needed to do a back up before doing so, I was told that it would not be necessary none of my data would be lost.  After installation everything was wiped out.  I am most concerned about retrieving my I photos.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

You did not do a reinstall but rather an Erase and Install. If you don't have a backup, which you should have already had, then you need to see the following:
    General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro.  Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive.  Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk.  Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

You need either an iTunes backup on your computer or an iCloud backup to restore your app data. Other data may be recoverable:
If you had enabled iCloud sync you can recover contacts, calendar events, notes and email by syncing your new device to iCloud. You can also view it by logging in to https://icloud.com

  • How to recover data after performing a product recovery operation

    Hi there,
Recently, my Toshiba computer experienced a blue screen error. I tried running the computer in safe mode and all the other modes available, but the blue screen kept appearing. I had no other choice but to run the Product Recovery CD that came with the laptop. Once it was done, I was happy to find that the laptop was working, but all my files were deleted! Now, I know this meant the HDD was formatted during the product !recovery operation, but is there any way in which my lost files can be restored???
    Desperate for help,
    Thanks,
    Matheson

    Hello
Not easy to say because before OS installation the HDD is formatted and existing partitions are also overwritten. I really do not know what to say. If you have some very important data try to talk with experts. Google a little bit around. I hope you will find someone who can help you.

  • How to recover saved sessions after a system recovery with backup [DUPE: /questions/770295]

Computer kept crashing and wasn't able to log on, so I had to do a system recovery with backup. Was wondering if there was anyway to get back my saved sessions that I kept.

Probably not. A System Restore can replace the current file sessionstore.js with an older version and if that happens then you lose that session unless you have made a backup of sessionstore.js before doing the system restore.
