HOW TO RECOVER MUSIC THAT I BOUGHT ON APPLE STORE ON MY NEW MAC?

I JUST BOUGHT A NEW MAC PRO AND I CAN'T RECOVER THE MUSIC I HAD, I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT I BOUGHT CAUSE MY OLD MAC BROKE DOWN. ¿HOW DO I RECOVER MUSIC THAT I BOUGHT IN MY NEW MAC?
THANKS

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. It's your responsibility to make backup copies (as iTunes itself advises) in case something goes wrong with your system, as unfortunately it apparently did in your case, and you lose all the information on your hard drive. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places. If your hard drive was erased and you don't have a backup of your purchased items, and don't have them on an iPod, iPhone or iPad, you're probably out of luck and will need to repurchase your tracks.
If you have your tracks on an iPod et. al. or have them backed up, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis. But don't count on it.
Forum Tip: It is generally considered inappropriate to type all in uppercase letters in Internet discussions, as text that is typed all in uppercase is by convention considered to be shouting. Uppercase is also more difficult to read, so please use all uppercase sparingly and only when you really mean to shout, which we hope you won’t need to do here .
Regards.

If your former iPhone or iOS device was backed up wirelessly with your Apple iCloud account, when going through the setup assistant with a new iPhone you are prompted to transfer the backup for another iPhone or iOS device. A record of all apps that are or were on the the other iOS device will be transferred to the new iPhone along with all other data included with the backup. Each app will be downloaded.
Or all apps can be re-downloaded manually by the iPhone one by one, or if all apps are in your iTunes library on your computer you can transfer the apps to the new iPhone via the iTunes sync process.

  • Transfer Lion (I bought on App Store) to a newer Mac Mini (July 2011)?

I just purchased a new "July 2011 Mac Mini" on ebay. Can I transfer the Lion (I bought on App Store) off of my older Mac Mini to the new Mini? I purchased Lion the day it came out from the App Store and had it downloaded on my 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mini.  I'd like to not have to pay for Lion again. Thank you for your input.

had it downloaded on my 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mini.
You don't have to re purchase Lion.
Just re download to the other Mac using the same Apple ID.

  • How can i recover music that i bought before?

i had to reset my iphone and i lost all my music when i sync it to see what can i recover half of my music its gone, is there any way that i can get that musicback?

Whether you can re-download music depends upon what country that you are in. If you are in a country where you can re-download music, and it's still in the store, then it should appear under the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. If only some of it appears there, then is some of it hidden (hiding and unhiding), or the record companies may have removed it from the store.

  • I cannot read a music that I bought on Itunes Store

I had bought an album a year ago. I can still listen to it but one of the song doesn't play. When I click on it, a widnow opens asking me for my Itunes' name and password. I fill up the information but it doesn't change anything, I cannot listen to it at all.

    Hi,
Delete track and move to trash. Next go into Itunes Store and under quicklinks select Purchased. You will be able to redownload from here.

  • How can I download Mnt Lion from the App Store on a new Mac running Mavericks?

Greetings... We just purchased a new iMAC at work and need to remove Mavericks and move it backwards to Mnt Lion.
Some of our big apps like Esko Automation Engine Pilot arn't ready for Mavericks yet so we need to go back a version
    to obtain the compatibility.
When I access the Mnt Lion download via the App Store I get an error message (1004) stating that Mnt Lion can not
    be installed on this machine?
Any ideas on how I can make this happen?
    Thanks

  • I had a virus on my computer (Windows restore) and it deleted all my music... how do it get my music back that i bought in itunes store?

how do i get music back that i bought in itunes store?

Woah there fella, if your files have been deleted and you still keep the same hard-drive you might want to use some undelete software first, such as http://www.officerecovery.com/freeundelete/ which I am not familiar with. Just make sure you recover the files into an external or different drive than the one you are recovering first... Otherwise it won't work. You could porbably restore most of your data this way, music and everything else.
    Otherwise:
    1. Open iTunes (latest version).
    2. On the left ruler, under "Store", click on "Purchased".
    3. On the bottom right of the screen click on "Download Previous Purchases".
    4. Download whatever you like.

  • How do I authorize my computer for music that was bought on an Itunes account that is no longer being used?

So my family used to share an itunes account and I bought music on that account. Now I have my own itunes account and my own ipod but I'm having trouble authorizing my computer to play the music that I bought on this old account. The email address for the account is dead because it was attached to mindspring. So basically how do I get this music without buying it all again?

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

  • I restored my ipod and i now have 35.66GB of other data on my ipod and it only sinked my music that i bought on itunes how do i fix this?

I restored my ipod and i now have 35.66GB of other data on my ipod and it only sinked my music that i bought on itunes how do i fix this? i have an ipod 5 with ios 7.1.2. ive tried restarting my computer restarting my ipod and restoring it. i also tried to delete apps nothing works.

This happened to me with the same device. I wouldn't worry about having it just say other as that is just information, if you really need to know what is using the most of your device's storage to to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage and that will tell you what apps are using in terms of your storage. Besides that, "other" is just iTunes knowing that there is information, how much there is, just not what it is. So syncing your device a few times and letting it stay plugged in should allow iTunes to recognize what information is on your iPod. Hope I could help!

  • How to recover music lost

i need to recover music i lost on my broken ipod

    Hi, alejandrofromdallas
All music on your iPod should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Your iTunes library should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data. Data recovery is the only thing you need to do.
If no longer in your iTunes library, if imported from a music CD then get the music CDs back out to be re-imported by iTunes. If purchased from the iTunes store and no longer in your iTunes library and not included with your computer's backup, the music is lost and must be re-purchased with iTunes on your computer.
Try to find out how to recover music from iPod. That's not complicated.

  • Getting Back Music That I Bought

All Music that I bought was lost because I didn't save it on a flash drive. My last computer crashed and I want to download all that I lost. How would I do that?

Use the form on this page to request a free redownload, or use the Transfer Purchases feature if applicable. If neither of these works, you will need to purchase the content again to get them back; Apple needs to pay the copyright holders for each download from the iTunes Store other than podcasts, album artwork, and iPod touch/iPhone applications.

  • How to recover song that are "lost", itunes can't find them even though I have downloaded and played them before

Does anyone know how to recover songs that itunes has "lost"?
I downloaded them, synced my ipod, songs were added and I was able to play them.
On a recent sync the songs are suddenly "not found" according to itunes.  I can't locate them in the itunes folder, so I have no idea where itune put them.  BTW-this is not the first time itunes stored songs in a random directory......  Since itune can't find them, they were deleted from my ipod

Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.
