How to recover my windows system

how to recover my system and other application thats i got bundled with my laptop while purchasing ,i tried to press f11 but nothing happens i mean is there any way to get the process started through a bootable cd or dvd or any helpfull cmd commands that would help me to recover my windows.. i just cant figure it out ,alone doing it will take much time ..any suggestions would be great .....

There are Three options available to try and reinstall Windows - make sure to back-up any important files first.
1. Shut down the notebook. Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button and see if this launches the Start-up Menu - if it does, try the f11 option here to see if this will start Recovery Manager.
2. If you can still boot in to Windows, hold down the Windows Key and press R. Into the Run Box type compmgmt.msc and hit enter. Click Disk Management in the left pane and when the partitions have loaded, right click the Recovery Partition and mark it as 'Active'. Close all open windows and then restart - if this has worked, the notebook will boot from the Recovery Partition upon restart.

You can address the problem in a number of different ways.
You can install X-windows from the installation DVD or setup access to the Oracle public software repository as described in http://public-yum.oracle.com. In which case, the command to install X-windows is: yum groupinstall "X Window System"
Or, you login remotely and and use SSH with X-forwarding, in which case the software on the server will use the X-Windows server on your client system. This is probably the preferred way since you do not have X-windows installed on the server. Broken HDD, how to recover my windows 8?

Hi all. I have problem with my Toshiba C875-s7304.
The HDD on it was broken and couldn't be repaired. I bought and installed new HDD. But now i don't have windows 8 , that was on old one and was registered. There was no dvd with windows installer with laptop, all media was on HDD. Is there any way to restore my oficially registered windows 8, because i paid for it? I can't contact the support as i live outside US.

Restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media. All the drivers and utilities are properly preinstalled.
If no recovery discs were created, you can obtain them from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here. If they won't ship to you, have an acquaintance in the US order it and forward to you.

How to recover data and system in MacBook Pro?

I have a MacBook Pro. I have now problem about booting the system. The GRAY logo comes with blinking by a "Stop" logo and the system can not open. When I use the Mac Installation DVD (Snow Leopard) all my data goes to be erased after installing a fresh one.
Shall I recover my Mac?
If I couldn't recover and was forced to install a fresh OS, is it possible to recover data after having the fresh installation?

Not much, but you can install OS X on a extenral drive, boot from it and recover files, then do the erase and install.

How I recovered from nVidia System Utility "Damaging" my K8N Neo2 Platinum

The posts I read said to reset CMOS and Reflash. Neither worked. So here's what I did.
The first thing I tried was just reset the CMOS. No go. Then I wanted to re-flash, but my floppy wouldn't read. So I did:
1) With Power Supply Plugged into wall and turned on, reset the CMOS
2) Turned off power supply and unplugged from wall.
3) Removed CMOS battery
4) Reinstalled CMOS battery
5) Waited another minute for capacitors to fully flush any remaining charge
6) Reflash BIOS
After that, 100% back to normal.
Now in reality, I'm thinking if I would have turned off/unplugged my power supply, and then reset CMOS via jumper, waited a minute, and rebooted then reflash, I'd be ok. So you could simply the steps above and try that. But those steps above worked 100%.

Try disconnecting the AC Lead from PSU .
push the power button to drain the capacitors
Remove the battery for the cmos rom .
And place the jbat jumper in discharge (check manual for instructions) .
Leave it until tomorrow like this .
Later ,, first set the jumper back in "keep cmos" position .
Mount the battery .
Connect AC to the PSU .
And try starting the computer .
When/if bios posts with cmos checksum error .. press F1 or "del" key
Dont use F1 but hit "del" key
and load optimized BIOS defaults + save + exit

When you drag the workflow fields tot he form, there will be a hidden AWS_ASSIGNED_ID field..
which will have the principal id of the user as per the MySql definition..
pass this value to a web service and get the user name from the tb_principal_entity table from MySql
All these can be done thought Javascript and a simple web service coding..

How to recover damaged windows that have installed oracle 9i?

Hi.
Now I got oracle 9i server on windows XP for develop purpose.
Few days ago windows XP has damaged, now it couldn't be booted.
In that oracle 9i server, lots of procedures and packages that were under developing.
I'm sure that oracle server doesn't have any problem. I want to recovery them.
Here're what I want to ask.
1. Re-install windows and oracle. and copy or migrate that can be possible way database data file to recovery procedures and packages. Is it possible?
2. Can I recovery with those database data file? Unfortunately I didn't export or backup file. T.T
3. What command should I use when I recovery them.
4. What files should I move to new oracle location(new data folder)? or Can I assign those data files when I re-install oracle software?

Are you able to boot the Windows XP computer in safe mode (press the F8 key several times immediately after the computer's post screen disappears after turning the computer on).
Do you have a second computer with a spare hard drive connector? If so, you could install the drive in that computer (as D;, E;, etc.) and copy the database related files off the drive, if the drive itself is not damaged. If the Oracle files are still in good condition (not corrupt), you could reinstall the exact same Oracle Database version on a new computer, use ORADIM to create a new service (for the database instance) with the same name, shut down the service, copy over the files that were salvaged, and then start up the service. If all of the files are there in the expected locations, including the control files, online redo logs, datafiles, spfile, etc. and all expected directories are present, there is a good chance that the database will open when the ORADIM created service is started.

How to recover windows from 2nd partition

I have a problem, recovery process crashed almost at the end and when i restart computer i cannot get to the windows (missing files). I installed windows but i didn't have any toshiba utilities for recovery (only those files on 2nd partitions: hdd recovery). And here is my question, how can i recover my system from that files without any toshiba utilities? Can i download them or something? What can i do to restore it, because toshiba recovery media is, i think not available. And if it's not so how can i do? My warranty for laptop expired.

You should order the recovery discs from Toshiba.

After you have restored the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents, you should have the recovery utilities and partitions. See the A350 User's Manual (attached) for how to recover after that.

How to recover system from new hdd T410

Hello,
please, help me to recover my system.
I have a new HDD and trying to recover my system from "Lenovo_recovery" partition. Partition has been copped from old HDD.
1) I have chcked there are all files in "Lenovo_Recovery".
2) installed trial version windows 7
3) installed "Recue and Recovery" but id does not offer anything
so, I am not able to recover from here.
4) I have checked also to recover from blue button "ThinkVantage" but the same is there, it open dialog and say somthing like "Revocery functionality have been removed ... "
So how can I have my system? I still using trial one.
Node: my old system is windows 7 pro, but current one is windows 7 ultimat.

When you open rescue and recovery there should be a window that opens that has menu options at the top of the window. Backup, restore, advanced, and help. Does this window open? If it does, hold your cursor over restore and there should be 2 options, restore your system and rescue files. Choose restore your system. The next window that shows up will show more options. You want to choose the top one, restore my entire hard drive. Unless you want to restore from a backup. Is your backup in E:?
I am a little confused. Are you trying to restore windowsw 7 pro or windows 7 ultimate? What was on the old hard drive and what version was the trial version. Is C: drive windows 7 pro. Where is ultimate?

How to recover entire OS X system after entire drive deletion without a backup?

My ENTIRE hard drive was deleted, and I need to know how to restore the operating system and all of my files. I am desperate! Years and years of photos were on the drive, as well as very very important files and applications. I really need to get my files back! Is there a way to restore the OS and get all of my files back? Please help me! What are my options?
And also my Windows 7 partition was deleted as well, so if I could get that back too, that would be nice, but most importantly is the Mac system and all the files.
And if you all want to know how my drive was deleted, I'm not sure, just deleted a partition in disk utility, and restarted and the whole hard drive was deleted, but I don't care. I just need my files and operating systems back.

Well, you said you don't have a backup? Whatever was deleted - it is gone unless you try to use a disk recovery software and/or service. Some of these tend to be rather expensive and, if that is what you want to do, then do not use the Mac at all because any use will overwrite the areas where your files have left some traces. You can try something like Data Rescue:

It may or may not work. The OS is easy to replace - just pop in your original install disk, boot from it, and install the OS. After that, you can update via Software Update. Your files, however, may be lost unless you can recover some of them.
I cannot address Windows since I do not run Windows.
