How to recover old chat messages?

please help me...i want message from the year 2014 from one person ...i delete the person but i want the mesages...how  can find the message...????

You cannot recover old chat messages, I'm afraid. Skype will only synchronize maximum the last 30 days of conversation when you start it for the first time on a new device.

    Ok, so...recently (as in the last few days) I had a problem where I could not log into skype due to a disk I/O error. That problem was solved, but to do so the customer service agent/person had to delete them--in this case deletion just moved the old folder containing them to the recycle bin. I was wondering if there was a way to recover/restore them without losing any new messages I have received since then--and would recovering/restoring them just bring back the disk error problem?

    The I/O error is as a rule caused by corruption of Skype local setting files, but can also be caused by corruption of the main.db chat database file. If the last is the case, then restoring the corrupted main.db file will again cause the I/O error.

    When i updated my new iPhone OS to the new system, i had to end up doing a restore. This wiped out all my info and while i have a backup on the computer. I can seem to find a way to recover old text messages via the iMessage platform. Is there any way to recover some of those old conversations? Some have sentimental value to them.

    I just need the last month of texts and I had not backed up for several months.

    You can delete a file so you don't read them anymore but you can't delete your mood messages in remote computers the same as you cannot delete an email you sent to someone.

    On the Mac Desktop version 6.6.0 all previous Mood text can be deleted by removing or better renaming the following file. If you rename it but find it did something you didn't like to Skype, you can get it back.
    Quit Skype
    Find
    Home > Library > Application Support >  Skype > keyval.db
    Rename this file so Skype can't find it.
    Start up Skype.
    Skype will create a clean new version of the file.

    The normal method depends upon how you backed up your old mail. If you backed up the entire Mail folder and its content then use Mail's Import Mail option under the File menu. Select the Apple Mail option then click on the OK button. Navigate in the File Open dialog to the /Mail/Mailboxes/ folder. Select and click on the Open button. Check the mailboxes you wish to import then click on the Import button. Your mailboxes will appear in Mail's sidebar under the Imported Mail heading.

    Make sure you are not syncing contacts with iCloud. Go to settings>iCloud and make sure contacts is turned off. Then try and sync contacts by selecting in the info tab again.

    You could try to restore the messages back onto your Blackberry from your laptop using the Blackberry Desktop Software.

    If that doesn't work for you, I recommend that you Google for a program called ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter. It will allow you to read those backup files you have on your laptop and hopefully access those text messages.  I believe there is a 30 day free trial before purchase.

    You can only restore the whole message database, not individual messages or conversations. This procedure will replace the database with an earlier version, so you'll lose all later changes.
    Sign out of iMessage and all other IM accounts, if any. Quit Messages. Hold down the option key and select
              Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. A folder window will open.
    Restore the subfolder named "Messages" from a backup that predates the unwanted changes, then log out and log back in.
    If you're running OS X 10.9 or later, also restore the subfolder Containers/com.apple.iChat.
    If you don't have a backup, the archive can't be restored.
