How to recover outlook ost error messages?
my outlook ost files does not work what i do? How to access my outlook ost file again any please gives any solutions to easily access and convert ost file into outlook?
First of all, I just wonder what is your meaing of "does not work", whether you can still access the data in the OST file, but get some error messages, or you cannot access the data at all? Based on different cases, you should use different solutions and
will save you a lot of time and money.
Without mor specific information, I have to give out general advices here:
There are several methods to convert OST file to PST file.
First, Microsoft does not provide an official tool to do the conversion. However, if you can access the contents of the OST file in your Outlook, then you can perform the conversion manually, as follows:
1. Start Outlook. Make sure you can access all the contents in the OST file to be converted.
2. Create a new PST file.
3. Go to the OST file, select and copy all the contents to be converted with your mouse.
4. Go back to the new PST file, then paste all the contents into the PST file
That will do the conversion.
You can also perform the conversion by export the contents of the OST file to a PST file by following the instructions at:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/outlook-help/export-outlook-items-to-an-outlook-data-file-pst-HA102534110.aspx
Second, if you can access the Exchange server containing the account data for the OST file, then you can use Export-Mailbox command to export the data into a PST file, similar to convert your OST file into a PST file. Below is the article about doing that:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb266964.aspx
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc535123.aspx
Third, if you cannot access the OST file via Outlook, neither can you access the Exchange Server, then you can refer to Outlook MVPs' website discussing about this issue:
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/pst-repair/convert-an-exchange-offline-file-ost-to-a-personal-file-pst/
Forth, there are many third-party OST to PST conversion tools you can try, below is a list of them:
http://www.datanumen.com/exchange-recovery/compare.htm
Nearly all these tools provide a free trial so you can try first to see if a tool works before purchase it.
Good luck!

In the iTunes window, when I update my nano ipod, I get an error message "User ipod cannot be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to." How can I overcome this error message.
Hello there dilip77707,
It sounds like you are getting this error message that your iPod cannot be read from or written to when you are trying to update your iPod Nano. I recommend the troubleshooting from the following article to help you get that resolved. Its pretty straight forward, just start at the top and work your way down as needed:
'Disk cannot be read from or written to' when syncing iPod or 'Firmware update failure' error when updating or restoring iPod
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
All the very best,

how can i stop an error message that comes up when i am using word? the error message is "word is unable to save the Autorecover file in the location specified. Make sure that you have specified a valid location for Autoreover files in Preferences,…"
It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

how can I solve this error message? "Some of your photos, including the photo “IMG_0374.jpg”, were not copied to the iPad “(my name’s) iPad” because they cannot be displayed on your iPad."
There were 273 photos in the event syncing from my Mac, but only the last 103 made it to the ipad. Most of the photos were taken by an iphone. I would appreciate any thoughts or insights - thanks.Adrian-
That error message suggests the photo is somehow corrupt.
Do you have the Apple Camera Connection Kit? You can set up a USB thumb drive with MS-DOS FAT-32 format and copy your photos to it into a folder named DCIM. Assuming they have an 8 character plus suffix name, the iPad will recognize them and give you the option of transferring them via the Kit's USB adapter.
Once they are transferred, you can find out if there is a problem with any.

How do I resolve this error message? The iPhoto library is on a locked volume. Reopen iPhoto when you have read/write access, or reopen iPhoto with the Option key held down to choose another library.
Hi j,
I don't know if this will work, but I'd try logging in to an admin account, going to your main library (not user library), opening it, opening Application Support, selecting iPhoto, hold down the command key and press i, click on the lock in the lower left, entering the password and making sure you have Read & Write privileges for System and Admin. -
How do I fix this error message??
How do I fix this error message
"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
The SMTP server "smtp.mac.com" doesn't support TLS (SSL) on port 25. Please check your account settings and try again."
ThANK YOU!!!
RichMail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. “I can't send email” or “I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out”. You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you.
Something that usually works if you’re trying to use an outgoing (SMTP) server different from the one provided by your ISP (and in the case of .Mac in particular) is changing the outgoing server port to 587 instead of 25 in Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Server Settings. -
How front end query invoke error message at backend
Dear all,
Please help me this out! I'm working on servlets(using Apache server). I'm sending sql statement to (dbaccess) database. If I do a sql statement directly at backend, the db will generate an error message. Now I'm sending the query at front end. When error occurs, the backend doesn't show the error message. I have no idea how to 1) generate the error messages at backend when a sql from front end is executed. 2) And then how the backend send the error message to the frontend.
If you have any idea, please help me. I greatly appreciate that!
Regards,
GraceThanks. Backend means database. But I just wonder why this exception not shown on my webpage. I made it to print out in html file.
And are you sure that the exception front end caught is the same error message that I get if I run the sql statement at backend directly? Because I'm thinking of ways to make the error message both detail and user friendly to understand.
What would you think?
Thanks again!

How can we view the error message numbers in the web ui?
Dear all,
How can we view the error message numbers in the web ui? It gives the error but no number. It is possible to debug in web UI so how can we accomplish this?
Thanks,
FKHi Fakhan,
You can absolutely do that.
Check the class: CL_BSP_MESSAGES
Also if you want to find out the exact Message Class and Message Number, go to table T100, type text in field TEXT, you will get Message Class and Message number in fields ARBGB and MSGNR respectively.
I hope this helps.
THanks
