How to recover/reinstall deleted the /sharepoint/sites/PWA directory for Project Online (Hosted Solution)?

Hi all, Am really hoping someone can assist me.  I accidentally deleted the PWA web directory on our Project Online (online MS hosted) which includes all the reference web pages and services.
How do I reinstall/recover this?
Thanks

Hello lethalleigh03,
There are few points to note down here.
1. If you simply clicked on delete the site you can restore that site by going to Recyle bin.
2. If you remove the feature and then delete the site in that case your PWA feature is removed so all your data will be deleted.
Either of the case you can approch Microsoft support to restore the site. After deleting the site data will be still there with Microsoft for 14days post that it will be deleted Permanently.

  • UNSYNC A CONTACT LIST FROM OUTLOOK WITHOUT DELETING FROM SHAREPOINT SITE

    Hi,
I recently created a list of Contacts on a SharePoint site which I then connected to my personal Outlook so that I had the contacts synced there. How do I remove them/unsync them from my Outlook without deleting them off the SharePoint site?
    Many Thanks.

    Hi,
I assume you created a contact list in SharePoint 2013 and synchronized it to Outlook via Connect to Outlook per the link below:
    https://hosting.intermedia.net/support/kb/default.asp?id=2429
If you would like to remove contacts from Outlook, you could right-click the folder in Outlook > Delete folder. This will remove it from Outlook and remain the contents in SharePoint.

If you are using Photo Stream on your computer (Mac - logged into iCloud & Phtot Stream on / PC - installed iCloud Control Panel logged in and have Photo Stream turned on) then the photos you deleted should be safe and sound on your computer. Otherwise you may be out of luck.

If you deleted them from both PhotoStream and the camera roll, and you don't otherwise have them backed up, they're gone.

How to recover a deleted library in Revel?

    Hi Roman,
Once a user has deleted files those files cannot be recovered by us.
If you have been uploading or using Revel via the Revel Mac desktop you may be able to recover your originals if you have selected the option Keep Originals. They are stored in a file on the desktop.

  • Turn off publishing feature without messing up the SharePoint site

    Hi,
Is it possible to turn off the publishing feature (after it was turned on), without goofing up the SharePoint site and creating problems?  I want to save a site as a template and just discovered that that option is not available when publishing is enabled.
Why does Microsoft make these decisions arbitrarily?  Ugh!
    Thanks! Patti N.

There are many ways to tweak and achieve the target i.e. saving publishing site as template, but if you try creating a new site using that template on a non-publishing site, it will surely gonna fail with some generic error
Even if you deactivate the ft and then save site as template, it will fail when you try creating another site using that template on a non-publishing site. So basically, it can only create a new site using that template only if the destination site have
    the publishing ft activated
SharePoint does not support Save Site as Template option with the Publishing features turned on. The supported method to create templates for publishing sites is to use a site definition template and using a feature XML.
    Please refer:
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2492356?wa=wsignin1.0
To answer your question, Why does Microsoft make these decisions arbitrarily?
when you activate the Publishing ft is the ability to use Web Content Management and create custom Page Layouts and change the way you can mange and display the information. You can manage Content and how this content will be shared to all users, you can
work with Content types and associate with Pages to change and categorize you information and display to public, i use for SharePoint internet Site because is a very easy way to users create new content and display to public this information, there
another features you can use with publishing feature like active the Output Cache this feature will improve performance in the page load because the webpart, metadata and page will be stored in cache, you can also define if you want to manage the
profiles for this cache, anonymous access or authenticated users.
All these changes happen when you activate publishing ft and wont get revert when you deactivate the feature, Hence it is not possible
To know more about publishing ft, please refer
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff628963(v=office.14).aspx

  • How to recover/restore deleted calendar?

    How to recover/restore deleted calendar?

Actually, restore deleted calendar got the same steps as restore deleted messages. You must be a Microsoft Exchange Server account.
1.In the folder from which the item was deleted, or in the Deleted Items folder, on the Folder tab, in the Clean Up group, click Recover Deleted Items.
Note: If the Recover Deleted Items command is missing
An Exchange account is required for this command to appear. If you are using an Exchange account and don’t see the command, contact your Exchange administrator.
2.Click an item, and then click Recover Selected Items .
Note: Your Exchange administrator specifies the retention time for deleted items. After this time elapses, deleted items cannot be restored.

How to recover a deleted Client.........?

    Hi,
As mentioned in the previous post, recovering a client is only possible by restoring the last back up. However, before deleting a client in most cases, a copy of that client will be maintained in Dev or any other system. You can perform a remote client copy again to get the client back.

How to recover Fotos deleted by mistake on ipad2?
Is there a recovery Tool installed?
    Is there any Freeware?
    Tanks for Helbing.

Unless they were on the iPad when you last synced/backed up then you can't recover them. If they were then you could try restoring the iPad to that backup and see if that restores the photos - and you will need to restore the whole iPad to that backup, you can't just restore some photos or one app.
