How to recovery CUE if the upgrade is failed

Hi,
I am looking to upgrade CUE from 8.6.1 to 8.6.7 (provide support CM 9.1).
Can someone advise me how to recovery for CUE if anything is failed (unsuccessful) with upgrade to version 8.6.7 and for any reason or problems with new version.

Install programs form the recovery disk to the upgraded windows

I have HP G60-230us and I've upgraded form windows vista to windows 7. I used to use the programs which came with the computer. but when i upgraded to windows 7 all the programs were deleted. I need these programs.
Can I install these programs from the recovery-disks to the new windows?

No, the recovery disks will only put your computer back to the condition it came from the factory which is Vista. Did you actually do an upgrade or clean install. If you truly did an upgrade you should have a folder on your C drive titled SWSetup. This folder has all the originally installed programs. If you did a clean install and lost all the programs and the SWSetup folder then you may have lost these programs.......unless they are available at the HP website. Go to hp.com and click Support and Drivers and enter your part number or model and you will find most of the programs and drivers are available for download.

I now use Google Chrome and recently the "Upgrade to the new Firefox has been showing up on my Yahoo email screen. I'd like to get rid of it as I don't expect I'll ever switch back to Firefox (though I used it for years and really did like it) as I'm now comfortable with Chrome.

Mozilla lost users due to the misinterpretations of what really happened as many had hatred towards Mozilla for making Brendan as CEO and hate from those who did support Brendan as CEO and thought Mozilla caved in to the pressure of having him step down and thought they fired him.
All because of donation that he made back in 2008 and was public record due to a California law. Mozilla knew about this for years and he was accepted and supported by lgbt employees even. Yet many outsiders were sadly not supportive of him being promoted from CTO to CEO and those hateful people were even worse towards some lgbt employees who received death threats even for supporting Brendan as CEO.

How will I know, if the asynchronous message fails in XI? Acknowledgment?

I have a FILE->XI->FILE scenario and sometimes the inbound message failsin XI (bad structure or whatever esle).. Is it possible to receive some message, that the original message failed?
I have read topics about acknowledgments, but I didn't find it out, where to configure it.
Could you give me some advice, how to set it up in my scenario?

first go to the Integration Builder: Configuration
access by, the design -> Environment -> Integration Builder(Configuration).
1. Go to Scenarios
2. Create a new Configuration Scenario by rightclick and NEW
3. choose language and save
4. on the left tree choose your created scenario
5. choose Receiverdetermination
6. Enter Service = sender System
7. Choose Interface = your Interface File(Structure) from Design
8. Choose Namespace if not filled
9. create
10. open the new Receiverdetermination
11. tab"Configured Receivers" enter Service = receiving System and maybe a condition
12. save
13. Tab"Configuration Overview for Receiver Determination" open the new Receiver Service. The should be a text like "not defined".
14. click at thew first symbol(Interface Determination) Dropdown and select new
15. go on with create
16. choose Inbound Interface and Mapping
17. save and close
18. Goto ReceiverAgreement and click at NEW from the symbol-line.
19. go on with create
20. enter sender Service and communication channel
21. save, activate and good luck

Keep getting the following message - connection to the server has failed. So now unable to send or recieve E Mails

in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts check that the settings for the problem account are correct according to what your email provider requires.
In you still have problems try deleting the account and reinstalling it.
Also check, of course, to make sure that your e-mail provider has not been having technical problems.

I have upgraded to 8.0 and the version number comes up correct except in most sites it says I'm running 3.5.6?? I have continually upgraded and don't know how to make websites see the upgrade.

Everytime there is an upgrade I install it. My browser says I'm using 8.0 and that my browser is up-to-date. However, when I try to install Firebug for 8.0 or any other add on it says I'm using 3.5.6. Even gmail is saying that my browser is out dated! How can I get my browser to be truly updated??

Are you backing up the SQL database of the DPM server itself?

How to recover "Recovered Items" after upgrade to Mavericks

After upgrading to Mavericks (from Mountain Lion), I had to create a new user.
Then, after logging in, I noticed my Applications and users were missing.
After some searching in the Terminal, it seems all the items are in "Recovered Items". It's as if the upgrade process failed to put the items back in their place after installing the new OS version.
How do I get the system to "recover" this?

Ok I talked to support earlier and I went into my recovered files folder and you should have Applications, Library, Users (shortcut to Users) and if you go to Users, you should see your previous User folder with all of the documents, pictures and such in it! What I had to do is create a new account (admin account) in Users & Groups using the same name for the user directory as your previous one! It should say there is there already a folder under that name and you will want to tell it that you want to use those files! Once that is done, logout, login to your new account and your stuff should be there! Pretty much all you have to do is drag what applications you want from recovered files application folder to your new application folder and of course renter your keys! Your iTunes, iPhoto and Apple products should grab all your previous stuff!

How does cc teams work with upgrades (CS3+)?

We had a break in and all our computers were stolen, we are now looking at CC teams.
My question is, how does this work with the upgrade solution? Do we need a serial for each seat we add?
Also what if a person leaves and we delete that seat and add a new seat for a new user, does the discount apply to the new seat?

HP Envy dv7 - Windows 8.1 upgrade consistently fails

I have been trying for several weeks to upgrade my Envy dv7 laptop, and after spending several hours it eventually fails, popping up a message about failure 0xC1900101 - 0x40017. I am then forced to wait an extended time for this upgrade process to restore my previous version. As a result of this exercise I lose my laptop for 6-8 hours. Apart from the above message no useful information about exactly what failed is presented, which is infuriating because if I knew what was clobbering the upgrade I might be able to fix it - this laptop is rich with development tools and upgrades which might not be installed on a typical laptop, so I presume one of those might be causing problems. However all service packs and updates have been installed and unless Microsoft tell me what is causing the failure then I have zero chance of upgrading. The upgrade process goes thru a reboot and then a lengthy period with a 'Setting up' message gradually climbing to 100%. The failure occurs late in the process of 'Saving PC configuration'. From the appearance it looks as though the upgrade goes 99% of the way before failing.

I tried, and once again suffered an epic fail. I just wasted another 5 hours. The upgrade process went all the way through, then a failure was detected on boot up. It tried again, same result, so without giving me any choice it automatically installed my previous operating system. Then on boot up it shoved a big message in my face telling me how sorry they were that the upgrade failed. This is absolutely infuriating. I consider this upgrade process to be a monumental failure by Microsoft. Not because of the failure itself because I can accept things do fail - but of the complete lack of information provided about what caused the failure. Microsoft are not giving me any chance of being able to resolve this issue by understanding what is causing these failures. All I get is unhelpful messages saying FAILED. Why is it so difficult for the upgrade process to record a log file as it goes thru the process? What p's me off is that my Windows 8 continually pesters me to upgrade to Windows 8.1. When I try, it fails- treating me like the village idiot by withholding information about what is causing the failure. I've no idea why Microsoft would want to withhold such information. So far I have tried 3 times to do this upgrade, and probably spent the best part of 24 hours not being able to use my laptop whilst Microsoft's hopeless operating system upgrade fails. I now have a very expensive HP laptop which will shortly become a brick due to my not being able to upgrade the operating system - in due course Microsoft will withdraw support for Windows 8 and I won't be able to do any upgrades. Very unhappy user here.
