How to redeem a digital copy code.

Hi! I just bought the movie The Hunger Games and realized it had a digital copy code. I want to redeem this code using my iPad. Will I need to install iTunes on my pc to redeem this code, or can I just redeem it in my iPad?? Also, after I redeem the code, will the movie automatically download into my movie library? Thanks!!

As written above - "Open the iTunes app on your iPad"...
You can do it on your computer if you prefer, and then sync the movie via iTunes on your computer to your iPad.
The end result is the same.

I had the same problem so I decided to try going to website on the back. (DisneyOzMovieandOffers.com). It will take you to a page that says to redeem code, enter the code that is given to you and click enter. It will give you options of where you would like to download it from. Click iTunes and it will give you the correct code to download the movie from iTunes.

From what I've read, the digital copy is on the bonus disk; it's not downloaded from the iTunes Store but rather copied from the disk.

  • After redeeming a movie digital copy code, and clicking download it will not begin downloading. How do I fix this?

I redeemed a digital copy code for silver linings playbook in iTunes, but no matter how many times i ckick "download now" it won't! it doesn't even show up on the "download progress" window....I first tried the immediate "download now" after it was successfully redeemed, and nothing. So then I went to purchased and clicked download but still, nothing!
    what do i do??

  • Trouble redeeming x-men 1st class digital copy code

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, for the last hour to redeem the digital copy code that came with the purchase of X-Men 1st class. I get an error 9006 when it stops trying to download from iTunes. Has anyone else ran into the same problem? Are Apple's servers overwhelmed? Any help would be appreciated.

Can you download anything from the iTunes Store? Try downloading something from the Free on iTunes section of the iTunes Store.
Check out this Apple document, which discusses the 9006 error -> iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
Error 9006: Following Troubleshooting security software frequently resolves this error. There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your Registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance.
In the end, you may have to visit the movie producers website and get another code.

You don't say which film you're struggling to download, I had problems with a-team and I ended up emailing the address on the leaflet, turns out they had a lot of problems  with people's codes,  they then gave me a new code to use! I have now managed to get the film downloaded?

  • HT201209 Need help redeeming a digital copy!

I've tried to redeem a digital copy of a movie on itunes because I don't want to download the "vudu" or "amazoninstantvideo" aps but it keeps telling me the redemption code is invalid.  Getting frustrated.  I'm typing it in correctly.  How do I get it to work?!

Take a look at this website:
    http://www.camcorderinfo.com/d/Reviews&levelb=Camcorder&levelc=MiniDV.htm
It has detailed, objective reviews of many makes and models. Be aware that iMovie is intended to work with Firewire connected MiniDV (digital tape) camcorders. So for best compatibility with the iapps you should narrow your search to MiniDV.
Many users here prefer Sony camcorders. I am a recent Canon convert and love my Canon Elura 100. Check out its review at the above link. The reviewer gives it high marks for performance and low marks for the button layout. Most single-chip camcorders use 1/6 CCD; the Elura has an advantage with its 1/5 CCD. Also, Canon claims to have "true" widescreen, where other makers crop off the top and bottom of the image to create a widescreen effect. Check out the Canon camcorders at http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid= 173
One feature to consider is an AV input. This allows you to use the camcorder to capture from VHS, analog Super 8, etc. to convert analog footage into digital and import into iMovie. As this is the best way to do such conversions, it is well worth making sure your camcorder has this feature.
That being said, any Firewire connected miniDV camcorder works equally well with iMovie. It doesn't matter what software comes with the camcorder you purchase, because the software is always Windows only. They know Mac users don't need additional sotware, so they don't try to reinvent the wheel. Also, be aware that the camcorders usually come with a USB cable for Windows users. If a Firewire cable doesn't come in the box, you have to buy one.

  • Redeem a digital copy

In the past I simply had to click on redeem and I could type in my digital copy code and that was it.  Now when I click redeem it takes me to an itunes card option.  How do I down load a digital copy without a disc?

  • I am trying to redeem a digital copy of a film in Australia from a DVD i bought while in the UK, i get an error message saying this film is only intended for UK and Ireland users. Is there a way to counteract this so i can upload it to my ipad?

I bought Hangover 2 while i was back in the UK and brought it back to Australia with me, it's a Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copy, i went to redeem the digital copy back in Australia through Itunes but it says the Code is only redeemable in the UK and Ireland. Is there anyway to get around this?

Not legally, and I don't even know if there is a way illegally (which would violate the Terms Of use of this service anyway).

  • HT201209 how do i put digital copy on ipad. can i do it directly on ipad or what

how do i get digital copy onto ipad. i want to do it right on the ipad

Look in the settings and restrictions. If you don't see an icon then it's possibly been restricted. Enter the code and unrestrict it.

  • Itunes says my digital copy code has been used already.

Got star trek for blu-ray. It came with a digital copy and a redeem code. However when I entered it on the redeem page in itunes a red message appears telling me the code has been used once and can not be used again. The code is from a fully sealed new copy of teh blu-ray. What should I do? (yeah I know I can just handbrake it but the gift giver was excited about this functionality so I'd like to use it).

Just wanted to jump in here with a quick update. We are still investigating this issue, but I can assure everyone that if they contact support via the website at http://www.paramountdigitalcopy.com/support/, they will receive a new code for their digital copy of Star Trek for iTunes or Windows Media. However our support team has been very backed up because of the holidays so if you don't get a reply right away, don't panic. We will get to you.
I have done numerous Web searches for any sign of files available via BitTorrent or other P2P networks that contain working Star Trek digital copy codes, but apart from sites that exploit Google's search engine and generate phony "search results" of their own, I have not had any luck. It is possible this is just an Internet rumor, but we are still checking.
Please respond to me in this thread with info on which version of the Star Trek set you got that has this issue, so we can narrow the field of possible causes. If you could also throw in any more info about that supposed torrent file (i.e. my brother downloaded it and it has a bunch of codes, etc), please do so.
    Many thanks!

  • HT1539 What do I do if there is no digital copy code.

I'm trying to copy the expendables but there is no digital copy code...? How do I copy it?

The page, to downlaod a trial is here: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=master_collection
At the bottom of the page, you shoudl see a yellow download button.
It would help to know which computer you're using (Win/Mac) and what Browsers have you tried?
Though it works in a majority of the cases, you could have a look at the following:
    1. You might have an add on that blocks it. Disbale any add-ons temporarily.
    2. You might have disabled JavaScript in your browser. Enable Javascript and restart your browser.
    3. Adobe Flash might not be installed. Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer. This page will also tell you if you already have Adobe Flash installed.
Let us know how it goes.

  • Can anyone get their digital copy codes from LOTR extended blu-ray to work on iTunes Mac?

Bought LOTR extended edition combo pack back when they first came out, but never used the digital copy codes.  Now my 13 year old wants to get them on his iPad, but the codes appear to be expired (6/26/12).  I see talk online about WB extending the expiration of codes, but I still can't seem to figure out how to get these to work.  Can anyone help?
